They were authorized to find which computer failed, they tore it down, guy working on it left to another dealership and this is what I was expecting to pay for and the vehicle still did not start. Nice try! This is a DMV complaint. There is no more quality or integrity from the Hart Auto group. Will never do any business with these guys again. On February 17th I had my car towed to George Harte Infiniti for a diagnostic test. I never one spoke to a service mechanic. I was only in contact with a lady named Malena, who I guess as the service spokes person. I explained that my car was shutting down in the middle of the road . The same exact problem it was having in 2021 when George Harte Infiniti Fixed the alternator in other problems that was covered under warranty. After diagnostic. I was told I would need a new battery, which I explained to her I just brought the battery I had in November of 2024. I was also told I terminals were needed. I was charged 400 and 177$ for terminals I was also charged around 600$ in labor bringing my total to 1325. I was told my car was driven around and riding well no shutting off . I my car picked up within 25 minutes of driving it shut off . I had to pay to tow my car back and then was told I needed a new alternator which would cost another 1689.95 for parts and additional labor. Which I feel I was over charged for labor in the first place. To put in a battery and its terminal took 2.5 hours? and that she stated she waived the second diagnostic fee of 239.99 which I felt was an insult. Why would you ever feel I wouldneed to pay a second diagnostic for my car when paid for it already and my car broke down within half hour after picking it up . Which leaves me to believe my car was not diagnosed properly. Another question I have is if you guys replaced my alternator back at the end of 2021 why would I need a new alternator again the 2nd month of 2025. A alternator should last 7-10 years. Melana text me and offered to bring the total down to 1379.95. I stated that was still to much that would mean I would pay you guys 2704.95 ridiculous. I took my car to get a second opinion and was given a code and told that an alternator isn't needed . I have been calling over and over . Melana as been screening my calls . I left several messages no call back. I reached out to the manager Miguel who told me he would not be able to do anything else to help me . I was told to dispute with my credit card company for a chargeback because they did not adequately repair my car . 7/2021 - Yet another update. I so wish there was another Infiniti dealership in the area. I visited today for an oil change. Yet another service advisor.. Not sure if he thought I was stupid or because I am a woman. Lied right to my face... '14 Q70 under 120k miles... since when do I have to change oil every 3k miles? "Uhm due to the mileage, it is recommended at 105k miles". So why didn't anyone mention this to me before? "I am not sure." I then called every I dealership in the state... "approximately every 5k miles". Smh this is the worst dealership... service advisors are supposed to advise not ruin credibility and the trust of loyal customers. Interesting experience at this place. Negotiation process on a Certified Preowned vehicle went quite smoothly, fairly and communication was decent. I had requested for my sales person, Steve, to send me some photographs while pointing out any obvious imperfections. He sent some through and called out a scratch that had been touched in by the previous owner, which I had no issue with given the vehicle was used. In my mind the deal was on and I submitted a credit application. I left my home in Greenwich, CT that same afternoon and after fighting traffic for the approx. two and a half hours, arrived at the dealership with my son. We located the car, a 2018 QX30, and immediately noticed something not right with the hood - it was peppered with rock chips over practically the whole surface! I don't think one square inch was spared from these deep chips! Once Steve emerged, he acknowledged what we were looking at and commented that his detailer "couldn't buff them out" and "it looked like someone had dropped rocks on the hood from above". By this point I was fuming as it was clear that Steve or his colleague Matt were aware of this damage all along. I did not buy for one second Steve's claim that he didn't notice this due to dirt covering them. In fact, the photographs that he texted me on closer inspection proved otherwise! An offer from Matt to respray the hood at an "Infiniti approved bodyshop" didn't resonate very well with me, as had I of know about this I would not have entered into any negotiation, let alone have my credit score dinged to run a check. Anyone who knows anything about cars will tell you that a bodyshop spray job will always be inferior to the paint process at the factory. Words cannot describe exactly how furious I was, having ventured on this 120 mile trip. I find it deplorable that this practice of blatant deception happens! That evening I emailed the dealership general manager, Igor, cc'ing a couple of the owners in the process. I received a response the following morning saying he was truly sorry that the transaction did not go as planned, then asking me to tell him what he would like us to do? I responded by requesting he make a donation to his favorite charity to cover my time and gas wasted, and have documented policies in place to ensure that employees are not deceiving customers. I also stated that if I were to deceive a customer in my line of work, I would have been fired! Over 24 hours have passed and I have yet to receive a response with any kind of acknowledgement. If this were my business, I would be doing everything in my power to turn a negative situation into a positive one. This could easily have been achieved by offering an attractive deal on an alternative CPO or new vehicle, with delivery included to make up for the previous wasted drive. It's unfortunate that my experience didn't quite align with the slogan/mission statement on the George Harter Infiniti website - "George Harte INFINITI: Where We'll Go the Extra Mile for You". It goes on to say: We're a proud member of the Harte Auto Group, which has been serving Connecticut for more than 60 years. These people at Harte cheated me out of my cancelled wheel and tire contract refund which I was due after paying off my car 3 years early. For 6 months I was promised the refund but never received. When I repeatedly talked with the financial manager and sales manager I was told that the refund was due anytime, checks in the mail. Now my calls are never returned so these people lie which means they are not to be trusted. read more

I like their television commercials and they were the closest Infiniti dealer to my home. I advise the sales person of everything I wanted in the car and chose what I thought would be the perfect Infiniti. He quoted me a price and I told him I want the best price and if I find something else that has another dealer I will definitely not be back. His best price had me putting down an $8000 deposit and leasing the car for 39 months I thought the price was rather high and went to Alexis dealer, as it was a brand I recognized better the longer-term quality. With no deposit per se and having me pay the taxes etc. to get the car, the infinity was roughly within $20 a month of the Lexus without any sort of deposit. I'm cold by the dealer I advise them of the situation and he advised that he had room to be able to play. I told him I didn't want to deal with a dealership that would do that. Was on INFINITI's certified preowned site and ran across a car that was what i wanted. I submitted a inquiry and one of the salesmen (Stephen) reached out to me. I met with him on a Tuesday. Test drove the car and the car was as described. I wanted to perform an underbody due to concerns of corrosion with it being in a state that has snow frequently. It was almost 8pm at this point and service area was closed. After going back and forth on my trade in, I decided to pay off the remainder of my trade in's loan and sell it on my own. They had some confusion of how taxes and registration would be for me being active duty military and registering in Virginia. We agreed to finish the final inspection and resolve the question about taxes/registration the next day. I signed buyers agreement with price pending final inspection and put a deposit on the car. Wednesday i inspected the underbody and discussed the final cost with Stephen. I was upfront that was going with my own bank and already arranged. He said that because it cost them money to certify, that the recuperate the cost when people finance through INFINITI financial AND THAT IT IS ONLY CERTIFIED IF I WENT WITH THEIR FINANCING. I told him that it's on INFINITIs, Carfax, Cars.com, and their website as certified. I told him it was a deal breaker. Used car manager, Tony, came in talked with me for a bit about off topic things, and at the end asked if it was a deal breaker. I told him it was. He said were good at that price with warranty. Salesman (Stephen) came back in after asking about what Tony said as if he didnt already know. Stephen asked because it was already 8pm at this point, that we wait to finalize the paperwork to prevent the staff from staying late to process my paperwork. I still had to drive an hour back home and was already bought into another trip out there to pick up my existing car that i drove out there so i agreed. We decided to meet back up on Friday because Thursday was his day off and i had duty the next day. When i messaged the salesman that i was heading that way, he said they sold the car on Thursday. I called to talk to the GM, Igor, but was told he was busy and would give me a call back... that never happened. So the next day i called and spoke with Tony (the used car manager that i met the first night). He said sorry and that he wanted to know what would fix it. I said find a comparable car that certified pre owned and same options. He said it would be a couple days to locate and he would get back to me. Never heard back from him. The dealer has many of the same car with the SAME options. A week after they sold MY car, i have yet to receive my deposit back. The salesman said to text him my credit card info. I didnt feel comfortable doing that so it required another hour trip back to the dealer get a refund. When i arrived i asked for the GM, Igor. The receptionist said she will be right back with him. Another salesman greeted me and said that Igor just stepped out with the GSM Leland and that Tony was off (So NO managers were there). I gave them plenty of time to make things right but i guess my sale wasn't worth the effort. I have purchased multiple Nissans and INFINITIs over the years including an Altima, 2 GT-Rs, G37 and Q60s and have NEVER had such a disdain from a dealership like this. STAY AWAY! read more

***BEWARE DO NOT GO FOR SERVICE*** If I could give the service department 0 stars I would. I had my older car towed there on a Thursday. I was told it takes a few hours for the diagnostic results back. I didn't hear from Karen until I called late the following day. She told me she would e-mail over a list in priority that was wrong with the car. By the time I received the e-mail, Karen told me the service department will be told what to go through with the next day. She stated she would send me a virtual receipt (showing a break down of what my charges were) for the next week, me and my husband called daily and always got "she's not at her desk, or she's out of the office and she will call you back". Still never got the email. First red flag is that I know I needed a camshaft (as my check engine light is on and that is the code coming up) that nor my horn was in 1st email (actually never got the other emails just the initially one with a few issues written and the price, no breakdown) So camshaft was not on that list. The 2nd issue that I told Karen about was my horn, that was not on the list as well. Well coming into week 2 I finally got a hold of Karen. She said everything is done but now the mechanic found that my water pump is broke and it would cost an extra $1700. I asked her if she can send me another e-mail. Never got it. My car called around and we were quoted between $1000 or more LESS than the $1700. So he called the service manager Mark and explained how he called around and they all basically told him they won't touch it because it sounds like whoever had it messed it up. So we were stuck getting it fixed at Infinity. Mark said he would work with us and gave us $600 discount. I was told it was a 4-6 hour job. Well 4 days later on a Saturday we were told to come get the car. We couldn't make it there before they closed in an hour so went in on that Monday. When Karen gave me the bill, it was $400 more than I was told. We asked to speak to the manager. So we sat down with Mark and Karen. My husband and myself expressed our concerns to Mark about the treatment Karen gave us. We also expressed Karen told me it would be $1700 for the job for the water pump. She NEVER said that, that was just for labor. I explained that if I would have gotten the e-mails I requested and was told I would get, this wouldn't have been an issue because it would have been black and white. Karen BLATANTLY lied in my face and said she sent the e-mails. So I said "okay if you can go print the sent emails with previous dates from today, I have no issue paying the extra $400. Mark and Karen went into her office and he came back and said "what do I need to do to solve this." I said "give me the quote I was quoted." Mark stated he was a master mechanic and had an injury and now is the head manager. As a business owner myself I must say he has HORRIBLE management skills. When my husband and myself advised him of the treatment from Karen he said "Karen has never stole from a customer," "Karen would never do that." His demeanor and attitude against us was so unprofessional!! Getting my car back, with the check engine light on, the horn not working and now every time I reverse my car stalls, is absolutely ridiculous. Especially for the money I spent with them. I went to get my car renewed for emissions and guess what? IT FAILED!! For the camshaft. So now I have to bring my car to another Infinity dealership almost an hour away, that most likely will charge me for another diagnostic test just to get fixed what I initially wanted fix already. I will be making reviews everywhere and filing a report with the BBB. Something definitely needs to be changed with this establishment that serves people who are buying or have higher end vehicles. read more

Felt bamboozled. I came to by a vehicle I knew what I wanted and what I wanted to pay. Came back to Harte because of the 10yr 100k warranty the salesman talked about I told him that was why I came back, even though their vehicles seem to have more miles and more money thought the warranty would make the difference to me. I had to show salesman that INFINITY was offering .99% interest on the vehicle I qualified with a 800 score.(they said they were unaware of the offer)I still was asking about the warranty they held me off till the end of paper signing to tell me that because I took the manufactures financing I didn't qualify for the 10yr 100k (Harte certification warranty) working for Pratt and Whitney we have hundreds of potential car buyers so Harte Infinity you are now on our wall of shame. I have 105,000 miles on my Infinity and thought it was time to go to a dealership instead of my local guy for a good inspection. George Harte Infinity had offered me a buy one get one oil change and complimentary multi point inspection. They charged $160. for the brake visual inspection. As a result they (Victor) gave me a recommendation for the following: Front brakes $572, Rear brakes and 1 caliper $1050, spark plugs $590, fuel induction svc $299, change side marker light $100. and replace 10 wheel lug nuts $180. It was the lug nuts and the sheer size of the laundry list that made me decide to leave. Who ever heard of replacing lug nuts? Instead I got the same free inspection from Nissan which is the maker of Infinity. I would not be surprised if many of the parts are not the same for both brands. I had the following done: Brake inspection $55, Machined front rotors and cleaned pads $220. I asked to double check rear calipers all ok, fuel induction service $220. and changed marker light $25. These numbers speak for themselves and I AM NOT GOING BACK for my free oil change. I don't trust these guys with my car. read more

The service department representative was rude, unprofessional, and curt. They had no estimate for my service upon asking me to sign the work order. When you call after hours, their main line has no voicemail, so you cannot leave messages. Also, I was promised a loaner vehicle, but was forced instead to wait for my service which they stated would take 30 minutes. Instead, it actually took nearly 2 hours, causing me to be late for a meeting. I've owned 4 Infinitis and had service at 8 dealers, but this is probably the worse of them. I purchased a vehicle from here and when I test drove the car it was filthy dirty not even cleaned. When I did pick the vehicle up it was finally fully detailed, but I was placed on a dealer plate because they never received the title to the car that I had purchased. ROBBERY! Went in for a simple front brake pad change. Ive done this at home with other cars will next time too smh. Anyway, they charged me $300 for front brake pads (included rotary check). Then with the labor charges of like 140/hr they managed to hold me here for 2 hours. I timed this because I'm not mechanically savy but also not an idiot. I know from personal experience this does not take 2 hours, but I bought the car used locally and figured why not. The service department came out promptly after I was checked in for my 9:30 appt. I asked about a remote starter only to find out that they use a third party to buy and install remote starters. Best part they aren't even made by Infiniti. They know they are robbing you. The guy selling me the brakes agreed when I proposed getting the remote starter elsewhere. These people quickly try to take you in, rush you through, and attempt to leave you dumbfounded with a crazy bill for simple mechanics. It's even more distasteful that they have the audacity to us the current pandemic as a reason for why it took so long. How could that be when the availability was open with any time slot for at least a this week out. Doesn't seem overwhelming. My first time there. The waiting area was bare as well yet my vehicle took this long.Great excuse to maximize profit I guess smh. Disgusted. read more

My second time around buying a car was much better then my first experience. Had it not been for George Blackwell III assistant service manager I may have never gone back. In purchasing my first infiniti and having it not start a few months later i was not happy. George was great and truly went above and beyond and extremely reassuring!! When I had another issue and the window would not go up in the middle of winter, and had to ho to work, George got me in and out and was on my way to work in 15 minutes!! George is great at letting me know what my car needs and what it doesn't and I feel i can trust him. I will continue to bring my car to get serviced at infiniti because George has been wonderful and so helpful! After trading in that car and getting the same car just a different color Lenin was excellent and went out of his way to make sure I was happy with the car. He took the time to explain everything to me, and even helped me set up the bluetooth in the car and my favorite radio stations. It was such a pleasant experience in working with someone with excellent customer service skills and such a caring person! Since then I have gotten two phone calls from Lenin to see how the car is, make sure I am happy with it, and letting me know if I need anything to call! These negative reviews regarding George and his team are completely harsh and I disagree with them completely! 1) These guys are honest and fair i.e. I bought my qx60 from them for a below-market price and it's a great ride for work and family! 2) Joe Finelli - this guy is honest, old school and takes the time to get you in the right ride. This is my second purchase from him and I will continue to give him my business because of the way he delivers customer service! He doesn't feel like he is trying to sell you something but rather an old friend taking the time to educate you on their options that fit your needs. This is priceless for my buying experience!!! 3)George and the service team are on top of things, and easy to work with. They provided me with a test drive and offer vehicle- loaners to use if the repair warrants it. I had/have some minor issues with my used Infiniti but luckily I'm still under warranty. I came to the dealership and was lucky enough to deal with Kayla in the service department. She was very professional, friendly, answered all my questions, and was able to make an appt for me to get the work done on my car for next week. I have not written a review of any kind in the past. If I have a positive experience, I find a manager and communicate directly. If I have a bad experience, I usually chalk it up to bad training, a bad day or something temporary which does not need to be hammered publicly. However, my experience this evening at Harte Infiniti requires a public warning to prospective customers. I saw a used car on their website and inquired about it over the net. I was called back almost immediately and discussed the car and specifically the attributes I wanted. The person directed me to another vehicle which had what I wanted. I then received a call back from the Internet Sales Manager, Henley Germain, who told me the car that was recommended actually had the wrong data on the website and did not have what I wanted. However he had another car that would do the trick. It was priced at $32,500. I told him I had a price max of $30,000 and said if he could sell it to me for $30,000, I would come and see it. He told me that if I came, my 'presence" would seal the deal in my favor and we could get a deal done. I wanted a more specific response and so I asked a number of times if $30,000 gets the deal done. He said more or less the same thing, such that any reasonable person would believe the deal could be done. We even went so far as to discuss the amount of fees I was prepared to pay when he said that the Doc Fees were about $595. I told him that was outrageous and that I would be comfortable around $250. He said to come in. Any reasonable person would believe the deal was done. The only open item was whether I liked the car. I drove it and liked it and confirmed the offer we had discussed on phone. Henley then went to confer with a more senior manager. After about 20 minutes, Henley came back to his office to explain why they could not do the deal as we had agreed. To his further discredit, Henley tried to defend his actions by saying that he never explicitly stated he could do the deal at $30,000. I told him simply he was being disingenuous to me and if he believed the nonsense he was spouting, disingenuous to himself. As I walked away, a more senior manager stopped me and I reiterated the facts. He did nothing. All buyers should beware of an organization that cannot be trusted, especially at the management level. Ive been trying to buy a car from them, I called and spoke to the internet staff. We liked the car and I made them an offer, more than fair, even agreed to put down deposit. Said she would give it to her sales manager and he would call. Well that was more than a day ago. Actually I made an offer at 3:45 on a Wed. which they were open till 8pm, now its the next day at 7:15 writing this review. I even reached out to the same staff person and was told he was working on it. Maybe they don't need the business, I guess they are too busy for a phone call. Brought my car in for an oil change in December. The service guys went thru the entire car and recommend $2,000+ of work needed. I was told they did a trill check of the entire car and if I did this work then it would be good for awhile. I agreed and did the work. The car started making a noise in Jan and I brought it in to get looked at. I was charged 160 to tell me that it needed $5,000+ of work! This is one month after they went thru the entire car. Either they don't know what they are doing or worse. Too bad because when they were in West Haven the service was top notch - honest and trustworthy. Staff turnover or change in business model. This place needs some type of Customer Service Training. I was not impressed with the persons I dealt with; both in Service and then in Sales. Inadequate! Everywhere you go, people try to sell and influence you. As an architect, and yes I'm a perfectionist... and thank goodness for that or your building could pose a hazard. Don't burn your time, especially if your serious about finding a dealership that's professional and pays attention to details. Although, they have a Starbucks coffee machine inside, it did not overturn my experience. No sense of urgency, staff is complacent and lacks the veracity to be a top dealership. I went to the dealership looking for a car. I told them my price range, and they guaranteed me a vehicle for that price that was being traded in. Once the vehicle was traded in I was contacted and we set an appointment for me to purchase it. Then shorty before I went back to the dealership for the appointment, they called me and said the vehicle would cost more. I finally agreed to a price above my price range and made it clear it was the max I could afford. I get to the dealership and now they are asking several thousand above that max price we had just agreed to over the phone. After hours of them trying to convince me to buy it for a higher price I left and made it abundantly clear I could not afford any higher price. After this I was contacted by a salesman and told a manager would contact me with a lower price to sell me the vehicle for the price I previously agreed to - when the manager called he was asking for even more than they had asked for at the dealership. I was very upset that they were wasting my time and I asked them not to call me again. We recently test drove the Infiniti QX60 at George Harte Infiniti. Matt Frattaroli was very knowledgeable about the car and helped us throughout the entire process - he even let me take the car home for the weekend to see if I liked it! We ultimately decided to go in a different direction, but Matt made sure to follow up (but not harass!) to make sure everything was taken care of, down to personally returning something that I left in the car from the weekend. I would never buy a car from this dealership again. The problem is the service department. I have had two experiences thus far when I have had to wait for 3 hours and 4 hours from my car to receive new tires or have a tire fixed. This dealership does not give loaner cars when you have a problem. You must sit and wait. And you are not alone. Others in the waiting area have been there for hours as well. It's also important to note that customer service is extremely lacking. Do not expect to be greeted upon entering or apologized to for the service taking so long. Essentially, the customer is ignored and no one there attempts to make your experience at George Harte Infiniti pleasant or professional. I can't wait to trade in my Infiniti and buy a new car from a dealership that provides quality service and professional customer service. read more

Just awful. If you are in the market for an Infiniti...go elsewhere-Greenwich has much better service. We basically closed a deal on a 2017 QX60, and was in the final stage of the process, and haven't heard from the finance department or the salesperson. This was on December 18. Still hasn't returned phone calls or emails...Very, very poor customer service and atrocious business practices. Save yourself the hassle-shop elsewhere. read more

I went in to see about getting a lease on a 2018 Titan. There was a particular deal that i presented to them that included trading in a 2016 Rouge, paid in full and to have the lease paid off on my 2018 Rouge. When we were discussing numbers, Justin the untrustworthy manager, showed me a "printout" that said the residual value was 27k on my Rouge and that the 13k shortfall that there would be will be rolled over into a new lease that would double my current lease payment. So no deal. In the mean time I have been speaking with Julius from New Rochelle Nissian (AMAZING) who informed me that there is no way that the suicidal value would be $27k. He told me to look at my lease to see what it would be. To my AMAZEMENT, the residual value is $19,372. George Hart sales manager inflated the price by $7,700. Talk about underhanded b.s. Justin is also the person who called me into their conference room after I got my current lease and tried to get an extra $421 out of me after saying I would not have to pay my first loan payment, that he made a mistake and he should not have done that. The conference room was with him and two other people. Intimidation?? STAY AWAY! They will sell your first born if they could. read more
