I drove 2 hours from home to visit the store to find they were only taking appointments on the weekend. Despite the short notice, Mark answered my call and drove an hour out of his way on a weekend to come work with me. When he arrived, he was very friendly and had great hospitality. He grabbed my mother and I water and coffee, took care to listen to exactly what we were looking for, and brought out all of his options for me to see. He helped me make the exact right choice on a Max Bill. I cannot speak much to his inventory outside of Junghans; that is all I was interested in while I was there. That being said, it seemed like he had a good selection. He is price competitive, attentive to customer satisfaction, and has a great sense of humor. I will be back, likely for a chronoscope in the future. Thanks for the great experience, Mark!

Spoke to Vlad on the phone and he says, "how do I even know you got the strap from us"? Didn't offer to pay for shipping back. So, crappy customer service in addition to fraudulent operations, or at least poor quality control. They need a 0 stars option for that. You should be ashamed!

They offer a decent retail experience, which is extremely difficult when no organization can get their hands on much inventory. My only complaints are that the location can be a bit too busy when the weather is good, and that they should be selling pre-owned if they cannot fill orders. of course I could be wrong (I know nothing about luxury retail).

This is mostly a gift shop sort of place with a lot of misc items. I originally brought my watch to Evergreen Jewelry and they quoted me $8 to replace the battery. Not bad at all, I was once charged $20 at the mall to replace it. However, they couldn't open the casing to replace the batteries and they suggested I try Central Port Emporium. They were able to replace my watch battery and for cheaper too, only $5! I wouldn't suggest bringing a nice watch to get your battery replaced here (Rolex, Rado, etc) but for something like a Armani watch, it's perfectly capable.

With Covid, everything is a little goofy right now but he was very accommodating about setting up a time for me to view the earrings. Bottom line, my wife has a GREAT set of new earrings and she's thrilled! I would highly recommend The Sydel family for all of your watch and jewelry needs in Chicago.
