I Love This Spot for men's clothes. The owner reminds me of one of my Aunties. She's very straight forward and knows men's clothes better than any woman I've ever met. All of the items are high end brands as well. I just picked up a 3 piece seasonal suit made in Italy in Mint Condition for my husband. She knows his measurements; pulled it out to show me and I bought it. When he tried it on it fit like it was professionally tailored for him!! Love her. read more

This is a great place to shop. It is the only men's consignment shop that I know of - at least the only one in the area. Sandy is extraordinarily particular about the clothes that she accepts to sell, so as a result all of the clothes are in tip top shape. The prices are so good that it is almost impossible for me to shop at a regular department store. I've purchased clothes with labels like Brooks Brothers, Faconnable, Burberry, and others at extreme discounts. I take my son her to get him clothes, as well. I encourage my friends to come here. In spite of her having a consignment shop in town I would go out of my way to find someone else. I wish I could give this place ZERO stars based on the owner's attitude alone. Perhaps she was just having a bad day, I don't know, all I know is that she could barely muster up a "hello". (You are working retail--at least pretend that you care about what you're doing!) I had just gone to the health food store a couple of doors down when I saw a few things in the window and decided to have a look around for my husband and son. This was my first time there, so I inquired about a few items and received icy, rude replies. I quickly left the store disenchanted and will definitely not be taking my business there. This place is run by an insane woman. Every time I called to check on my consignments I was treated very badly. At the end of the consignment she "never had" one of the items. She then "donated" thousand of dollars worth of clothing with out warning or reminder at the end of the consignment. Yes I called 3 days late but really. Awful awful place. Was excited to find a men's consignment shop, a rarity! There are a smattering of great items there, but they are needles in the haystack. The compelling reason not to go is the haughty, rude owner. This review is written from a consignor perspective. I have been working with Sandy Zahn for almost 10 years. She knows her merchandise, her customers and the marketplace. I have brought many outstanding brands/items to her (Zegna, Canali, Hugo Boss, Ralph Lauren Purple Label, Robert Graham, shirts, sweaters, shoes, etc.) and find Sandy to be excellent at running her shop and business. If you have quality merchandise that is in good shape, Gentlemen's Agreement is the only place to go. My first encounter with Sandy was to inquire about clothes she would accept. She was impatient, rude, cold and impersonal. All she would say is" bring them in, I'll see if they're good enough". I brought in about 20 items. She made me take back 18 of them. And of the 18, every one was a high end designer item, some even with the tags still on. In the 3 months I dealt with her, I never received a thank you, hello, or a smile. Not only that, I had to pay her to bring my clothes there. Bottom line, in all my 40 years of shopping or dealing with retail businesses, I HAVE NEVER ENCOUNTERED SUCH A RUDE, COLD, RETAIL PERSON SUCH AS HER. I would say DO NOT BOTHER GIVING HER YOUR BUSINESS OR YOUR TIME. Any other retail business with an owner like this would never last if the business didn't depend on todays economy. Steer Clear and AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. read more

I agree with many of the negative reviews in terms of the rude owner. I have visited twice, once making a purchase, but in both instances, the moment I walked in, she began to yell "What are you doing" and kept speaking in this harsh tone as if I was just going to steal something or waste her time. It's a shame I can't give more stars, because there is actually a pretty good selection in the small space. As great a quality of the products, horrible customer service will always keep me away and searching for other options. read more

i walked in with a nice selection of in season highly desirable shirts and the owners attitude from the get go was off putting. the icing on the cake was when she showed me her, "contract," charging $10 to leave these garments for her to sell! clearly she must not be doing that well if she does not have to pay for stock, keeps half the money and still has to charge sellers! her excuse was that she had to put them on hangers and tag them! but she doesn't have to go to markets, visit vendors, or take any financial risk whatsoever. This consignment shop is such a gem! Top brands, mint condition clothing, low prices. The owner, Sandi, is no-nonsense and very knowledgeable. I went with my brother who was starting an internship in DC and needed some wardrobe upgrades. Sandi helped him pick a Calvin Klein suit (she was amazing with cut and fit), 3 shirts, a belt, and a sports jacket. With what he spent, he probably could have bought one blazer at a department store. I definitely saw casual merchandise as well (jeans, polos, North Face stuff), but I'd highly recommend it if you need nice business or formal attire and don't want to spend a fortune. read more
