WARNING! DO NOT BRING YOUR BUSINESS HERE! This practice does not value loyal patients. My family had been going to this office for over two years. We were recently charged a cancellation fee for my 6-year-old daughter's appointment, and even after explaining that the conflict arose because the appointment was scheduled before the public school calendar was released, the office refused to offer a courtesy waiver. To be clear: I had already accepted responsibility for a prior cancellation fee connected to another appointment. This second situation was entirely reasonable and called for compromise. Their decision not to extend a simple waiver demonstrated that they prioritize a $25 fee over the well-being and loyalty of their regular clients. That lack of flexibility and customer care makes it clear where their values lie. My family will be taking our business elsewhere and I would strongly advise others to do the same. read more

Dr. Patel was wonderful in resolving all my recent issues with Gentle Dental. She is a doctor with integrity and fairness. She went out of her way to resolve my issues. Same with Dr. Goldberg. I found several members of the office staff to be unfriendly and argumentative even hostile. I had scheduled an emergency tooth extraction as recommended by my regular dentist because a tooth that required extraction had flared up causing me considerable pain. They were not helpful as they never informed me that the appointment they gave me was for a consultation only. They did not tell me when I first called that a second appointment was needed for the actual extraction. Also, I contacted them to have the emergency tooth extraction only but they asked me to sign paperwork authorize other treatments that I was not intending to have done at their office. I have been going to Natick Gentle Dental since early 2000s . Recently over the last few years they have come down in the services quality. Waiting times have increased and hygienists stand around chatting while clients wait. Very poor customer service but very expensive. Every time you go in the dentist will find something wrong. Gentle Dental tried to tell me I had three cavities. I got a second AND a third opinion and I had none!! In fact, I've never had one so I thought something was fishy. I would NEVER go back to a place like that again. They also tricked me into buying useless dental insurance! They told me I could get my teeth cleaned with it and it would cover the cost of an office visit and they were lying through their, for lack of a better word, teeth. I also paid for my braces in full while I was there and then they tried to send me a bill a couple years later for the cost of an office visit that they forgot to add to the whole bill I paid in full! DO NOT TRUST THESE HORRIBLE PEOPLE. This company is based on MONEY and not of patience's WELL BEING! To try to permanently put metal in my mouth when I didn't need it and trying to charge $300+ per cavity is truly despicable. Those dentists need to be arrested for malpractice because they KNOW the scummy things they've done. read more

I have been going to gentle dental in Natick for over a year. I have always had a pleasant experience. I saw both the oral surgeon and Dr. Rana they worked together and brought my smile back. A for Dentists A for Hygienists B+ for reception B for equipment and decor. B- for waiting area but I have noticed recent upgrades to office. Don't fool yourself the dentist I see here is Columbia educated, gentile and knowledgeable. The oral surgeon who did my implant was also terrific. If you are afraid of chain dentistry look no further as this location is really terrific. It's a great practice with great dentists. read more

I've never written a yelp review in my life, but my dentist at Gentle Dental in Natick, Ma Dr. He clearly deserves 5 stars, so I had to! I can't say enough positive things about Dr. He is very skillful, meticulous, thorough,gentle and caring. He has been the first dentist who paused to ask me if anything hurt and it was the first time I had totally pain-free dentistry. The crowns he did for me feel amazing. This place is a sham. I went during covid and the dental hygienist kept taking her mask off to speak into my open mouth. It was horrific. On top of that, 2 of the cavities they filled are literally falling out of my teeth not even a year later. I brush and floss every single day with my water pik and yet their terrible density is falling out of my mouth. I will never go back. read more

I just had my first root canal done, Dr. Patel was truly amazing, kind and professional! I'm glad I chose to save the tooth, thanks to her advice. The procedure was done painlessly and efficiently and it's been about two weeks since my final appointment. Everything feels back to normal. During the early part of this past April (2021), my molar tooth split badly. Due to Covid, I was hesitant to seek aid, and figured I could just muddle through on my own. After a few days, I awoke to unbearable pain and a very swollen face. I called the dental group I had gone to in the past. I left a message on the answering service, and waited in vain for an hour. At that point I decided to call Gentle Dental - I had heard good things from my friends and hoped that they might be able to help. I called the Natick office, and explained my situation to the kind person on the phone. Her next words were "how soon can you be here"? Music to my ears ! 15 minutes later, I was taken in and treated by a team of super kind and very professional office staff, dental techs and a lovely (and very pregnant!) dentist. Shortly after, I met with both Dr. Patel and Dr. Goldberg, and have been working with them ever since. I now have a great treatment plan in place, and no longer fear going to the dentist !! read more

I strongly don't recommend Gentle Dental - Natick. 1. They randomly charge the fee: it's super expensive. I just use one example here. Last December, they suggest me to do one implanting and I did. When they did estimate to convince me to do it, they told me the total cost was $4000 or less and my out of pocket cost was about $2000. When i saw the bill, the total charge was $5000 and I ended up paying more than $3000! 2. The service is very bad. The Bill can be very wrong. you need to double CHECK! My husband did one crown in January 2017. Per Insurance Company, they didn't submit the X-ray and other enough evidence so it was rejected. A few weeks ago the dental office sent me a bill and told me I need to pay full amount myself which was about $1300! 3. My experience is NEVER go to such kind of dental office! it's a nightmare! I spent at least $7000 OUT OF POCKET! read more

I have been to the Gentle Dental in Natick for about three years now. I have been to many dentists and I needed A lot of general dental and cosmetic work done. Dr. Patel and her staff are by far the best I've used in my life. They listen,they work with you financially, have flexibility hours and make you feel comfortable. I used to hate going to the dentist but now do not mind. The work that I had done has changed everything for me for the better. Highly recommend. read more

do not ever step foot in a Gentle Dental. my family has been going there for years and never did we not have a problem. the people who work at the front desk are condescending and rude. I had an appointment and they belittled my mom saying we did not have an appointment when we had the card to prove it. never did they once apologize and even asked my mom to lose the attitude which was completely understandable because she had been running around all day and had a schedddduulled appointment. very unprofessional. they even laughed as my mom continued to explain to them that we had an appointment. even some of the orthodontists or dentists are rude. made one of my sisters cry because she was using her phone while waiting, and the orthodontist proceeded to call her a brat. so uncalled for and is the equivalent to harassment. my family is fed up with Gentle Dental and has moved the entire family out of there. unfortunately my other sister has to remain there to finish with the orthodontist. please never ever go here, unless you enjoy encountering the rudest people, who are not only unprofessional but unapologetic for it. stay awayyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!! read more
