What a horrible first impression. Never received care so this is a review of the office and the online scheduling process. My back had set out and that badly. I called the office several times to no avail. Then I went online and scheduled a New Patient Apointment for today. I left my work and was so excited to drive to treatment. Showed up on time. Two ladies in the front office looked surprised when I announced my appointment time and name. Turns out that you cannot make New Patient appointments online (...really?) and that the PT was out sick today. May I recommend that you contact the software company and have them remove the New Patient Appointment icon. Also, when a provider is going to be out, how about you block that day in the same software??????? What a waste of my time - I will absolutely never contact this place again. read more

Gentle Chiro tries to sell you a subscription for treatment. I did not subscribe, so they billed the max possible out of pocket and waited for me to fight insurance. After my last treatment, I told Dennis he could not adjust me again, and they reluctantly credited all of the uncovered insurance charges back to me. It feels very bad when a medical provider tries to take advantage of a patient in pain, and they is exactly how I felt in Dennis's care. read more

The REACT table and pulse wave services are outstanding. I used both for a bruised shoulder/ rotator cuff injury, and after the five prescribed visits I regain full mobility. Jenell is very skilled at both procedures. Most people after 50 years old have rotator cuff issues. these two procedures are very helpful. read more

Quite frankly, I'm a bit suspicious of all the raving reviews. My 10-15 min adjustments did nothing. While he is adjusting me he's already trying to get me to schedule more appointments. How bout we get through this one? I actually left with the thought that he did not do a good adjustment just so he could get me back in. Its speaks volumes that he has all kinds of time available and no one is ever in the waiting room. I went home and searched for a new chiro, and thankfully she is awesome. She is very THOUROUGH, not pushy, and listens intently. I was in very bad shape, and could barely walk. One adjustment with my new lady and I was already on my road to recovery. What an amazing experience! I met Dr. Cozzocrea at a local networking event and am so thankful he came into my life. Here is just one example: last week my chronic knee pain started back up. As I walked through my office I would have to grab things to hold myself upright. In 20 min Dr. Dennis adjusted my knee, taped it, and the pain was gone. It had been 4 days now and I am still pain free! If you are looking for a great chiropractor, stop in and see him! There is no need to live in pain. It is with great disappointment and concern that I write this review. I visited Dr. Dennis with awareness that my pelvis was out of alignment. I saw him for that and felt much better, but he said he wanted to see me back the following week. I went reluctantly, as I didn't feel I had any other need, but thought maybe he saw something I wasn't aware of. In this visit he used a high force Activator on my chest and on a few other area of my body and it felt painful and unnecessary as I had nothing going on there. A half hour after I left I was in tremendous pain in all different areas of my body that had never hurt previously. I felt very alarmed and called first thing the next morning explaining how much pain I was in after the "adjustment". He said I should wait until Monday and call back then (5 days later). It was an excruciating 5 days and by then I knew I was in serious trouble.....I called again as he suggested and told him the pain continued to be severe and different than anything I had ever experienced. He said he would not see me unless I paid to come back to fix the mess he had created in my body. That did not feel right or ethical and honestly I was totally shocked by his policy and attitude regarding the harm and pain he had created in my body. It is now three weeks later. I had to go to another chiropractor who had to put some ribs back in place and several other adjustments to mop up the mess that was created by Dr. Dennis and I am still dealing with a soft tissue injury on my chest from the "adjustment" he did there unnecessarily. This was a very painful lesson in every sense of the word. This man does not stand by his work......so beware. I have had chiropractic care most of my adult life (I am 63) and have never encountered anything that resembled this level of irresponsibility and lack of compassion. All I can say is you are taking a significant risk by entering this practice. read more

I am beyond grateful for the knowledgeable and friendly care I receive from Dr. Dennis. I am so fortunate to have met him at our yoga studios open house and have continued to see him weekly since. He is extremely knowledgeable on the body, yoga, Chinese medicine and good conversation. I instantly felt comfortable and the best part is the gentle adjustments. I've been a big athlete and dancer most of my life so I walked into his office a bit of a mess. It's a gradual lessening of my pain but like all good things take time. I love this practice! The staff is so friendly, thanks to his Office Manager, Dana, who knows everyone who walks in the door. Dr. Cozzocrea is very warm and friendly, and absolutely knows what he is doing. I usually don't even have to say anything, and he KNOWS what is out of place and immediately attends to it. He is thorough, professional and quick--but never rushed. You know? As a woman, I was nervous to be treated by a man at first. I was quickly relieved of this worry after speaking with him for 30 seconds. He immediately puts you at ease, and my confidence in his abilities is unquestionable. And, big plus here, he is always on time! He also has an amazing massage therapist who works out of his office named Sally Jo. The fact that he has her working in his office is additional proof of his good judgement. The office is light and bright, and there is always parking available near the door. I came to this chiropractor because I had sciatica running down the back of my entire leg and I was miserable. I was also having aches in other parts of my back and neck when I came in, but the sciatica is what had me sidelined. It only took about 4 or 5 visits, but all of those problems have completely resolved! I am totally pain-free now and can move around without any difficulty. I was so nervous about trying a new chiropractor after my DOC of 10 years retired! I am so happy my friend referred me to Dr. Dennis. He truly lives up to his name...Gentle Chiro. Dr. Cozzocrea spends quality time assessing what I need and has great interpersonal skills to explain what he sees.
