Last year, we needed our pool slide scrapped and re-coated as the initial construction of the slide was done poorly. We asked Paul if this is something his company does and he said yes. Tells us he'll send his stone guy to take a look at it. I emphasized that I wanted to use whatever material would last us the longest. He quoted us about $2k. It's steep, but we know Paul and trusted him (or so we thought). It has been a year almost exactly and the coating they did is now peeling. We reach out to Paul about remedying this and he's basically washing his hands of it, saying that he has no affiliation with the person/company he sent out and that he had called his stone guy. I've attached photos of what the slide looked like before, after, and now and part of our conversation where he explicitly stated his workers and not some referred outside company. We paid the invoice sent through Beachfront, not some 3rd party he claims to not be affiliated with. This is not to mention that our pool has had issues with algae for the last 2 months and they claim that it was a pipe leak which we paid for to be fixed and look at the state of our pool now still. I would stay far away from this company. I don't know why they have so many stars but my experience with Paul and Beachfront have been disappointing and expensive.

This means that the weekly person didn't really care to bring up issues and was not thorough. The owner subcontracted someone to refinish our slide which started peeling a year later and then pawned off responsibility to the subcontractor who ghosted us. At this time, our pool was starting to also look green with black specs. Needless to say, we were paying for subquality work by an owner that didn't care because we never even actually met him. I called and had another well known pool service company come out. They said pool had a leak and I needed a specialist. Well Jake came out as a second opinion and he was pretty sure from our phone conversation what the problem was and it wasn't a leak. He was right it was a defective back flow valve. He replaced it that same day. He also pointed out some problems with my filter. It had cracks in it due to age and sun exposure. He recommended replacing the old DE filter with a new filter one. No more DE, no more backwashing needed, quicker to clean and cost effective. I was sold and he came back the next day and replaced the old with the new! He is knowledgeable, took time to explain my system and answer my questions. He offered some suggestions which I appreciated. He wasn't a salesman but a friendly, helpful and very qualified pool specialist! He offers repairs or also has weekly service available. I was extremely happy. The cost for the consultation went into the repair which I thought was great. He gave the price upfront and there were no add-ons. If you have problems- this is the company to call!

My remote control unit went out and I couldn't start up the spa, pool lights, & Waterfall remotely anymore. I called around trying to find a pool company to come out and fix it. Finally I found Paul's # on the Pentair website. I explained the problem I was having with the remote and Paul, the owner, said it was probably the remote or the antenna on the controller. He came out and diagnosed it quickly. He had a spare part right on his work truck! The man came prepared!. Swapped out the part and paired it with my system and it was back to working. I could remotely start the spa, water fall and pool lights. Then one small problem, the heater was not firing up. Paul diagnosed the sensor was bad as the sensor was telling the controller on the pool that the water was already at 106 degrees. Which is was not so. Paul had that part on the truck too. He replaced that and now everything works like its brand new again. The best part of the whole experience was that he fixed everything in one trip but the man had a great attitude too!
