Excellent care and concern for their patients. The owner Chris and Massage Therapist Anthony have magic hands.

I was having balance issues and my doctor referred me to Kingston Physical Therapy & Sports Rehab…read more Therapy began about 10 weeks ago. First of all, PLENTY of parking in the Hannaford Plaza shopping location. Dedicated spaces with signage for Physical Therapy clients just steps from the front doors. When you walk in you're greeted by a receptionist who asks your name and the Physical Therapist you will be working with that day. There are a number of therapists and, based on your needs, one of them will be YOURS for the entirety of the course of treatment. I was fortunate to be assigned to Dr Sarah Prizzia. She's well educated in all things muscular and skeletal and extremely personable. I had fallen from a step ladder, landing flat on my buttocks. I was in pain because I had compressed one of my lower vertebrae on my spine as a consequence of the fall. The muscles in my abdomen, buttocks and each leg needed to be loosed up - stretched - in order to strengthen and coordinate those muscles used to walk steadily, safely and support my body. My goal was to feel that I could stand, walk and climb steps with confidence and stability. Today, I feel SO MUCH BETTER. Dr Prizzia gave me several printed pages intermittently during my 10 weeks so I can continue with the same exercises at home. Maintaining what we accomplished together with her guidance is essential to stay healthy and limber. My sessions were approximately 45 minutes long. I felt stronger with each visit. Yesterday, I traveled to NYC by Metro North and MTA subway with lots of walking, stair climbing, navigating busy street . At one point I realized, I was ambulatory without a cane and pain free. Yes, I was tired when I got home but pleasantly surprised that trip had been precarious, slower and painful 10 weeks earlier and yesterday it was a joy! Thank you, Dr. Prizzia, Kim and the support staff for their professionalism and commitment to a positive experience for all Patients. Excellent!

After getting a very expensive broken hand surgery, being in a cast for two months, and then driving an hour to my first physical therapy appointment here, here's the conversation that ensued: Receptionist #1: Do you have your prescription? Me: Oh! I didn't know I needed one. I have all my records from the surgery right here. Hand Therapist: I can't touch you without a prescription. Me: Oh shoot, I didn't realize. I wish that had been made more clear on the phone. Hand Therapist: (explains why she can't touch me without prescription) (At this point, random Receptionist #2 walks over and interrupts like Gollum) Receptionist #2: (Shaming) I did make it clear to you on the phone. I talked to you. Me: Wow, you just popped out of noowhere. Receptionist #2: (Irate, defensive) I did make it clear to you. Me: I'm going to just keep talking to these two because at least they're nice. Hand Therapist: (adding fire to the flames, huffily) Well, we're alllll nice. And it devolved from there. Learn some customer service, people. You just lost a paying customer for literally nooo reason other than you have no training in customer service. You offered no solutions, belittled, condescended, argued and shot back defensively. Smile, be nice, empathize, and the customer is always right.

Saved If I could…read moregive ten stars I would. Contrary to one person's experience, I found the receptionist extremely friendly and always very welcoming. Molly interviews the new patient in depth to make sure the treatment will match the patients needs. She is an excellent PT........she and Mike work very well together. Mike is funny.......you can tell he loves what he's doing......he laughs, he has a dance in his step.......It's just his way. It says I'm from S.F. Calif. - same address as Marianne......I'm a proud New York woman..............!!!

I want to start by saying that I have been to this location in the past, however, what I dealt with…read moretoday was inexcusable and it wasn't with the therapists. This was the only place I ever went to but dealing with the receptionist today was just too much and I canceled my appointment and am going elsewhere. First, I made the appointment a few weeks ago and asked for a specific therapist, who I always had for every visit from evaluation to completion. Upon signing on to my portal today, all of documents mentioned someone else. Mind you, I called and said I only wanted this person, I visited to give the script and insurance and confirmed this person and today not the person. Second, I have 2 insurances, primary and secondary, gave them in that order. Online I only saw I insurance, secondary only which states a co-pay, with Medicare as primary and a secondary I don't have a copay. I called today, the day of the appointment to confirm and the receptionist insisted that my secondary states copay, I told her with Medicare as primary they pay and pass it to secondary. She kept insisting I had to call my insurance and work this out ----- I have had Medicare for numerous years and used it at this office, it's not how this works. It's her job to call, not mine. She kept talking over me and was rude, I canceled my appointment as stated, I'm in pain but not that much to deal with this. Don't go there.
