There were things on this menu we've never heard of or tried so we went with familiar things and were thrilled with the quality/flavor. This place is warm and friendly. They are the first pick for my brother every time we go out for supper! The owner is nice and always come to our table at least once to check on us. The rolls and dipping balsamic tomato dip are delicious! Pro tip- ask for some to go if you have a have leftovers to take home in a to go box at the end of your meal. Was highly recommended by the locals, but there isn't a whole lot of competition and I found the food to be good but not knock your socks off good. The combo will be especially yummy for any cheese lover - my husband wasn't too into that, he much prefers meat and different textures to his dish. The Francesca was delicious, a good balance of protein, veggies, and starch but it was a little more on the tart side which I wasn't too fond of. Overall, the meal was amazing, the portion was huge, it wasn't to our liking for our taste preference but was worth the try! We were recommended the Genova Tour and the Genova special from the menu. BEST ITALIAN food! My Grandmomma was from Italy and had an Italian restaurant in Ohio. My mom still cooks her mom's recipes and I know great Italian food. After moving to Kansas, I could only get great Italian from my mom; however, we just discovered Genova this week and it is phenomenal!!! We went Thursday night and had to go back again Friday to eat.
