From the very first day, the teachers and staff have shown incredible love, patience, and dedication to the kids. My daughter looked forward to going to school every day, and we can see how happy she is and how much she has developed both academically and socially. The curriculum with the mandarin immersion and a variety of cultural celebrations are another highlight. We are incredibly grateful to all the teachers for making her such a positive and meaningful pre-school experience. We highly recommend Challenge school San Mateo Campus to any parent looking for a place where their child will be loved, supported, and inspired to learn. We have to say goodbye due to the relocation, but will always remember the warmth and love at Challenge. Thank you for making the preschool feel like a second home.

From the tour, the facility felt clean, safe and I felt comfortable with the staff as they seemed attentive, experienced, and committed. At first I was nervous to transition my oldest (2 yrs old at the time, now 3.5 yrs) as we don't speak any mandarin at home. However we were so surprised at how much he has learned and developed as he transitioned from Caterpillar to Ladybug and now to Butterfly Class. He is always excited to head to preschool and happily talks about his day after pick-up. The projects and activities in each class are age appropriate and meaningful and I appreciate how we get frequent updates with clear communication from the teachers in each class. I also love that they prepare Chinese and American holiday events at this age. Now our youngest (1.5 yrs old) started in the Caterpillar class and she has adjusted so well! I am so glad we chose to have our kids attend Challenge School for the peace of mind knowing that they're in great care while we are at work. All of the Caterpillar, Ladybug, and Butterfly teachers are wonderful, dedicated, and sincere with their class and most importantly, we can tell our kids have fun and are happy there. I highly recommend this location for a mandarin immersion preschool!

We only attended for one year, but in that year I've witnessed tremendous growth in her academically and socially. She is happy, confident, reading at a 1st grade level at the age of 5, and has lots of friends. I was especially impressed to see how KAM transitioned in new teachers. Two long-time teachers were retiring, and they brought in new teachers for 6 months prior to the veteran teachers retiring, so they could learn the school's rhythms and also the children had plenty of time to get used to the new teachers. Between my kids, this is the 4th preschool they've attended and KAM handled this transition the best I've ever seen. I recognize that a transition like this is very costly from a financial perspective but it is honestly the best and most healthy option for the students. I feel so grateful for a supportive, nurturing, and loving community that puts the students first. I give KAM my highest recommendation.

The level of love, attention, and care they provide every day gives us complete peace of mind. Beyond that, they've played such an important role in his growth and development. They helped him establish a solid nap schedule, supported his transition to solid foods, and consistently create a nurturing, enriching environment filled with thoughtful activities that encourage learning and exploration. We are especially grateful for Ms. Ester, Ms. Zuri, Ms. Mel, Ms. Ione, Ms. Bonnie, and Ms. Kyra. Their dedication, warmth, and genuine affection for the children shine through in everything they do. And finding a daycare center where you can feel confident that your child will be safe, loved, and happy is extremely stressful. I researched and visited numerous daycare centers, but Little Bloom was the only one where I walked out feeling good, feeling confident that my baby would be in the best hands. My son just graduated from Little Bloom and he was very sad to leave all of the friends, and more so the teachers, that he had built an incredible connection with. The school welcomes the whole child, wherever they may be in their development, and also fully welcomes the entire family. Their teachers are amazing, many of them having been there over a decade. The director, Ms Kyra, is so dedicated to making sure child and parents feel comfortable in transitioning to the school, taking time to learn about your child, not rushing you or pushing anything on you. Her door is always open if you want to talk. They truly care about you and your family. They also potty train, which many daycares do not do. Highly recommend!

My preschooler adores Miss Lupita (a total fan), and my toddler cannot get enough of Miss Susana. Every morning, my toddler waves goodbye and runs straight into the arms of his beloved teacher, eager to share about his morning ride (with all the 2-3 words he knows!!). His class teachers are so creative in their approach to teaching littles. As for my preschooler, I have never seen him so excited to go to school. Before Safari Kid, at every daycare (all top-rated on Yelp), our mornings were full of crying and tantrums about why he doesn't want to go or stay at home. Now, he comes home each day bubbling over with stories of the fun things he did and the new things he learned. But what really sets this childcare center apart is the incredible progress both of my children have made since they started attending. Their learning has truly taken off under the guidance of the knowledgeable and caring staff. It's amazing to see how far they've come in such a short amount of time. Thank you Ms. Jocelyn, Ms. Emily, Ms. Tessie, Ms. Sheryl, Ms. Eda, Ms. Kanti, Ms. Manisha and Ms. Jennifer!! We sincerely appreciate Miss Shelly for her leadership, partnership, and guidance with so much patience. Her dedication to creating a warm and nurturing environment for the children is truly remarkable. We do wish the center could start a bit earlier in the day to accommodate parents' office hours, but we understand that the staff have their schedules to manage as well. And it would be a dream come true if the center could start providing lunches - talk about a dream list! However, despite this wishlist, we are still extremely grateful for the amazing care and education that our children receive at this center. The staff truly go above and beyond to create a nurturing and enriching environment for the children. I am honestly stress-free for the first time as a parent regarding childcare! Thank you to the entire team at this childcare center for all that you do! We appreciate you more than words can express.

As a first time parent, I was of course focused on setting up my son for the best academic future possible and was looking at academically focused pre-schools like Stratford. Visiting that school, I had a mixed feeling of hope for the future, and sadness to see pre-schoolers lined up in those tiny desks doing work. The playground was quiet on the day I visited and there was a little girl crying. Was it really necessary to start my baby boy on the Gerbil wheel of life so soon? In contrast, my first impression of Petite Sorbonne was of the crazy noise and sound of laughter. It was a bit overwhelming initially, but it seemed like kids were everywhere. As Teacher June gave me a tour of the grounds (a large Victorian house), she was interrupted every few minutes by a kid giving her a hug or telling her "I love you". The kids just played together and were so happy, the way childhood is supposed to be. I went with my gut. I'm writing this review with the benefit of hindsight. We've had two children attend years ago and they still have lasting friendships! We're back with our 3rd child, and we're glad we came! Parking can be a little annoying, and cost wise, doesn't make sense for part time as there isn't that much of a difference between full and part time (as it essentially takes a spot). At under $2K/mo for full time, I think it's well priced for the environment and what is provided. We hope you love it as much as we do!
