And believe me I have looked thoroughly around the area. They work hard: they are pretty much open year round, even on holidays, and are extremely accommodating to families and parents, even offering drop off after at another location that is easier for some parents to pick up at. There's no deposit required and you can pay for enrichment classes a la carte without needing to commit to the entire period. The Chinese studies are serious, not casual. They have tests and homework and we like that they use the Maliping curriculum, which is much more rigorous, but they try to balance it and keep things fun.

I decided to try this center for backup care after reading many positive reviews, but…read moreunfortunately, my experience was disappointing. About an hour after I dropped off my child, the principal called and urgently asked me to pick him up. I was told that my child and another child had argued over a toy and that the situation escalated into a fight. My concern is that if staff noticed the conflict developing, why wasn't it addressed and de-escalated at the time? Redirecting or separating the children would seem to be a basic responsibility of the caregivers. I also question how the situation was handled. My child has attended preschool and childcare programs for the past 2-3 years without any similar incidents being reported. While disagreements between young children can happen, I was surprised that a backup care provider would ask a parent to pick up a child so quickly rather than first attempting to manage the situation. The principal's communication came across as rude and unprofessional, which made the experience even more frustrating. Overall, I found the response lacking the level of care, judgment, and professionalism I would expect from a backup care provider serving children ages 4 and up. Based on my experience, I would not return.

We've been really happy with this after-school program. As a parent, one of the biggest things I…read morecare about is whether the school is truly responsible, and this place really is. The teachers don't just make sure the kids finish homework and call it a day. They actually pay attention to how each child is doing and let parents know when something needs extra work. That kind of communication means a lot. What I appreciate most is how much my child's Chinese has improved here. Before, Chinese was honestly a struggle. Reading took a long time, writing was frustrating, and my child didn't have much confidence. After being here for a while, I started noticing real changes. Reading became smoother, homework got easier, and test results improved too. I still remember one time the teacher noticed my child was having trouble with some vocabulary and spent extra time reviewing it instead of just moving on. A little later, my child came home happy about doing much better on the quiz. That meant a lot to us. You can tell the teachers actually care. They're patient, attentive, and they really want the kids to improve. It feels like a place where children are supported, not just watched. We feel lucky to have found this school, and I would honestly recommend it to other families.

It was an amazing experience and we loved this little after school program. First, the director teacher Ann is very nice and very supportive. She is easy to talk to and very accommodating. They offer varieties of Chinese lessons as well as academic supports. They plan for outdoor activities and parties throughout the year. They also teach arts/crafts such as modeling clays. They provide pick ups from different schools in the FC-SM school district. I highly recommended this program for anyone who is looking for a safe, nurturing, and fun after school program in the foster city area.

The teachers were warm, steady, and really attentive, and that made a huge difference for us. Fast forward and now he's graduating for Kindergarten, which is honestly emotional. We'll miss Magic a lot. Magic helped our child become a real little reader. He started bringing home "level books," and now he grabs books on his own and asks for the same favorites over and over, especially Pete the Cat Goes Camping and Little Bear. It's become one of his favorite things to do. In the preschool program he loved the routine and the fun stuff, especially Thursday dance class and the monthly field trips. Around age two we hit separation anxiety and the "terrible twos," and the staff handled it so patiently and professionally. They helped him settle, regulate, and feel safe. We also really value that Magic offers English, Chinese, and Spanish. It's been a big plus for our child and for private school applications. We're truly grateful and would absolutely recommend Magic Education.

He is always happy when we pick him up and doesn't want to go home almost every day. All the teachers are very nice. Teachers always update to parents with how the children did during the day when they are picked up. They know every kid very well. Facility is also very good. Bright classrooms, big yards with different toys. They keep everything clean. Hot lunches and snacks are also very good and healthy. A LOT of pictures and videos every day through APP. We really appreciate this, and it makes us feel very connected. We know what exactly happened in the daycare almost every hour through out the day. Ms. Coco also gives child growth report to every family with well organized one on one meetings twice a year. Very detail engaged. We feel very reassured to take our son to Magic Education, and definitely recommend
