There are plenty of cardio machines, weight machines, free weights, and even a back room for yoga/stretching/CrossFit. The facility has plenty of room to accommodate it's members and is a very welcoming place. Don and Patti, the owners, really put their all into running their business and it shows by their ever constant presence and help towards members. Additionally, the gym is extremely clean and always stocked with beverages, snacks, and sanitization equipment. This is by far my favorite gym that I have been a member of.

At one time the fitness center featured three state-of-the art racquetball courts, but a poor decision was made to remove them to make room for storage and for another weight-lifting room, which is seldom used. The locker rooms have not seen much improvement in the nearly 30-year existence of the fitness center. The lockers remain very small and they have not kept pace with the standards expected by modern-day college students. The squash courts remain the gem of the building while attention to other facilities and equipment has waned over the years. Nevertheless, the track is used by the community for walking and for physical therapy. But the biggest change I have noticed over the years is the lack of sincerity on the part of the staff. They do not seem to really care. Today we were informed that we had to renew our annual memberships (which we purchased in June 2019) on January 1, 2020. Nothing was ever communicated to us beforehand. A simple phone call or email would have been sufficient. We were also surprised by the 31% increase in the membership cost. The woman at the desk, Sandy, was cold and cantankerous and not the least bit helpful. She could not have cared less about us. She told us they have been informing customers about the changes when they go to the gym. This is not a proactive approach and illustrates that the customer/client, now matter how many years they have gone to the fitness center, is no longer relevant. There are other gyms in the area that you might want to consider.

We absolutely love the class atmosphere which is always fun, welcoming, and supportive. Every day is a different and well balanced program which keeps your body on its toes. I enjoy the fact that classes are filled with people of all ages. Traditional gyms just don't provide the motivation that these trainer-led classes do. I hope WCF is around forever!
