Going uphill there is a good sized playground, tennis courts, and basketball courts (admittedly often overgrown). From the playground to the courts the park road is blocked to vehicle traffic. On the upper area is an outdoor community pool, a parking lot, and an outdoor gym set up. Then there's also blocked off lower and upper roads encircling a hill and a small field, which look so quaint I always picture Bilbo Baggins living there. The views of the city the pool area and the top field are magnificent, and benches invite you to stay for a while to enjoy it (or maybe catch your breath from walking there). Schiller has two access points to park by car (Farmer St- lower, Oak St- upper) and plenty of access by foot. I've spent many many visits exploring the different paths of Schiller. It's a park which feels very much at the center of it's community, a touch rough on some edges, but very beautiful.

We wanted to go down by the play equipment, but the road is closed off the vehicles. We were able to leave the park and drive around the corner and park in a lower parking lot which is near the baseball diamond. There was one lone table near a building called the recreation center, and it was in a little gazebo. Kids enjoyed the play equipment. It must have been installed or upgraded very recently as it was very new 8/2015. There are two areas one for smaller kids 2-5 and one for larger kids 5-12. There is one small table in each of the kids areas which has a cover and provides shade during the hot summer months when kids are out playing.

Buckland park has 3 different playgrounds spread out in one big park. One is more suited for toddlers, another for smaller kids (3-5) and then finally another one for bigger kids (5+). So if your kid gets tired of one, they can walk to another one. There are plenty of fields to run around on, fly kites, etc. Seems like there's always some children's baseball going on there. There's also a relatively new and well maintained basketball (4 hoops) and tennis courts (2). A good place to host a child's birthday part. I believe there is some indoor space that can be rented (lodge/ pavilion).

My nephew gets a kick out of always spotting deer here! We always pack snacks or a picnic lunch, plenty of picnic tables to share. My favorite is the pond here, always seems to have birds, fish and lot's of ducks! Make sure to bring along some bread to share. Lot's of benches through out the park, perfect for taking a break and still able to see the entire park.

Martin Road Park is smaller, has benches to sit where you can keep an eye on multiple kids, and has slightly smaller playsets. My three-year-old loves this park because he can easily climb around and run his Hot Wheels cars along the playset. There is also a pond with fish and ducks - bring some bread scraps! There are also a lot of shaded picnic tables - so bring a lunch while you're at it as well!

I emailed for assistance and received a reply from Nate Deavers, the Box Office Manager, in prompt fashion to say they had identified and fixed the website issue. Very helpful, so a big 'thank you' to Nate. Falcon Park has that small town/community feel to it. Prices for tickets or concessions are reasonable, and there's free parking across the street from the park. The park also provides great access to the players (and the players I've had the opportunity to say hello to/get autos from have all been wonderful - also, the team will often have at least one player doing a signing before games), so you can get autographs easily. The only hiccup I really experienced was in trying to find the stamp for the MiLB BallPark Passport book I brought with me...they had moved it from the little souvenir store to a table near the entrance, but the guy working at the table couldn't find the stamp and had to go on a hunt for it. It ended up being in a big bin of disorganized papers and whatnot he brought to the table... a bit of a process to find it though. TL;DR Enjoyable, small town, single A park. Nice opportunity to see players as they're just starting out in the minor league system.

Fairly easy, but some climbing and stooping (that yoga will pay off for your flexibility to scoot under a fallen tree!) toward the end .... but sooooooooo worth it! Rocks can be a little slippery, but worth it to get a little dirty, in order to be awed by nature! GPS/Locations: Waterfall: (N 42.66758 / W 77.58907) Parking: (N 42.66833 / W 77.59166) Directions: Located on the south-east end of Hemlock Lake, on the east side of Rt. 15A. Take I-390 south to Rush and follow 15A south along Hemlock Lake. After passing Johnson Hill Road, Reynold's Gully will be a mile down on your left. My daughter's high school graduation party was ruined because of the staff at the Ontario County…read morePark at Gannett Hill! I rented an enclosed pavilion for her graduation party in October of last year. The party was planned for Sunday, June 28th. We called Ontario County Park the week before the party several times and left several messages to see if we could decorate Saturday night and then her party was Sunday. No one returned our calls. My 17 year old daughter started decorating Sunday morning at 8:30 am. At 10 am a group of woman from Buffalo showed up at our pavilion and said they also rented the pavilion for Sunday. Our only communication with this establishment was their scheduling calendar. My daughter checked this calendar daily worried that her perfect day may be ruined. Up until Friday morning before the party, the calendar said we were renting the correct pavilion on Sunday. After the woman told my daughter that we were double booked, my daughter checked the calendar and it now said we were renting the pavilion Saturday and these woman were renting it Sunday. Someone messed up and moved us on the calendar at some point Friday or Saturday. The grounds guy and his "boss" told us that we needed to leave or they were going to call the police and have us arrested for trespassing. They told my 17 year old her mom was going to be arrested. My daughter asked the staff why no one had returned our calls all week and the "boss" told my 17 year old daughter " she should have walked her happy little a$$ around the park to find him". This is unacceptable! The police showed up and we were packed up and leaving. Now we then had 2 hours to rent tables and chairs and contact people that the party was moved. We were only able to reach about 50 people out of 100 who were invited. I am a Naples tax payer and I think if they messed up and double booked us I should have had dibs over the park in Naples instead of a group of woman from Buffalo! I spoke to a gentleman who overseas the staff and he apologized and was going to call me back. He has not called me back in almost 2 weeks. My daughter and I have not been refunded our $175 we spent on the pavilion and cabin for the weekend. Do not plan your special events at this park. It is heartbreaking to see your child's day ruined when there were plenty of things they could have done differently!
