When a plumber was needed, Carlos stepped it up! He was the only plumber I could find for an after 10pm same day appointment in the San Diego area. He was friendly, professional, and his prices were reasonable given the demand. I highly recommend Genesis Plumbing. read more

Javier was professional, friendly and experienced. He took the time to patiently explain what the job would entail and made sure that it was done correctly the first time. What he quoted us is what the final cost was. He installed all four service valves and a new one1" PRV. He guaranteed us warranty parts and labor for a whole year, even though we had purchased the filter from an outside source. We are kicking back and enjoying our sweet and delicious water. If you want it done right the first time, call Genesis. read more

If 10 stars could be an option: A line connected to our fridge busted open and water was spraying everywhere. I called appliance companies who directed me to plumbing, I called another plumbing company who seemed confused. I finally called Genesis Plumbing in a panic and they came within a hour and fixed the problem. So grateful to this company, will 10000% use again if needed. read more

All the employees at Genesis are outstanding. I've had a new hot water heater installed, along with many other pipe issues. They have been fixing every repair that's been needed. I highly recommend Carlos, Javier and Rick for any of your plumbing problems and installation. read more

Quick response and quality work. Thank you for fixing our bathtub so quickly. The prognosis I gave and the quote for repairs were spot on. read more

Genesis was referred by a good friend who is a SD home builder. Short notice job with quick reply and same day service. We purchased a new refrigerator and Loews delivery and install crew would not install due to copper wire tube. Had to get dedicated separate quarter turn safety valve and compression union for exposed copper water tube (who knew). Miguel was great and walked through what he needed to do - I am not a handy man so it was great. Excellent value because Genesis is professional and does quality work. Now it's Loews turn to step up and complete the install. Buying a new fridge is a hassle but Genesis made it better. read more

My mom has a roof mounted solar water heater that started leaking. I called a dozen plumbing companies, including some of the more well known ones, and no one was willing to come out to take a look at it. Thankfully I ended up getting ahold of Carlos at Genesis. He did not have any issue that this water heater was not typical installation and said he would send someone over. In less than two hours from my initial call with this company, someone had gone over and fixed the problem. They were fast, honest, and very reasonably priced. I am so appreciative of their service and will definitely call them first for any future plumbing needs. read more

Carlos at Genesis is the bomb. Call he's there. Right before Hillary visited he came to snake the HOA lines and found the pump massively compromised. Ordered a pumped cleaned the system and up and running the same day Friday. Sunday Hilary hit and smooth sailing. Carlos and his guys rock. As another post said as a women he feels safe to have around working on the property. His guys are also very respectful. His pricing has always been really reasonable. And when needing a Jett ask for "Large Marge" Thanks read more

This is an awesome company! I've already used them twice and they have always been very reliable and given me peace of mind. Carlos was very professional, courteous and honest. He did not try to upsell me anything or make me feel obligated to do other unnecessary fixes. I'm very grateful they're able to come on the weekends and provide their service! Their prices are very fair and the quality of work is excellent! They will be the only plumbers I use from now on! Thank you Carlos and Genesis for always helping me out!! read more

Needed help with a bum toilet. Got me straightened out. Great service and super quick.

I wanted to relocate the breakroom at my business, but there was no plumbing at the new location and would require cutting into the concrete slab and running new pipes. This was no small task. I contacted several plumbing companies and was mostly ignored. Carlos at Genesis answered his phone and came out the next day. I got a quote, start date, and completion date. Carlos was extremely accommodating by starting on the weekend with jackhammering and cutting the concrete. We had a business to run so doing this for me was above and beyond! The work took exactly one week as quoted (unbelievable). The workmanship was great, and the new concrete was nice and level. After the floor and kitchen were in, one of his plumbers came back to hook up the faucet, garbage disposal, and water heater. I've been through a lot of major home and business renovations and I've dealt with a lot of tradespeople, so I am no stranger to setbacks and flakey workers who putter around, or just no-show. This project went smoothly. I personally thanked Carlos for having a team that showed up on time, was polite, and worked hard to minimize the amount of time we had to work around this project. I am very impressed with this company and would recommend Genesis to anyone who needs plumbing. read more

We had sewer water backing up into two houses on the same lot. Our plumber responded within 15 minutes, stabilized the situation but couldn't clear the line with his equipment so he recommended Genesis. It was nearly 6p and Carlos was ready to help. He arrived within 1.5 hours, offered a couple of options, was extremely efficient and resolved the back-up using hydro-jetting within 10 minutes. He remained on the property and tested water flow in both homes until he was assured the problem was resolved. What a relief! Carlos is a life saver, an excellent communicator and an overall lovely person. Highly recommend this business. read more

My 92 year old grandpa had a leak with his water heater 2 days before Christmas and Genesis plumbing was the only ones who replied and was there with a blink of an eye! If I could give them 10 stars I would! Very professional and caring! The only way to go is Genesis plumbing!!!!!! read more

One evening at about 10:00pm I started my laundry. As my washer was draining, smelly sewage water started filling up my bathtub. My husband is deployed so i started to panic because I have never experienced a plumbing emergency before. I called my landlord and he told me this issue is the tenants problem. After a quick FB post asking for plumbers in my area, Genesis Plumbing was recommended. So I called and Carlos was so nice. He assured me everything was going to be okay and he decided to come take a look at the problem within 15 mins of that phone call. He knew exactly what the issue was after coming here. Also being a female in her 20s, alone, with a stranger at 10:00pm, i felt extremely safe around Carlos. He was very respectful and professional. He scheduled one of his guys (Mario) to come out the next morning at 8:00am to snake the main drain. Within 12 hours of making that initial phone call to Genesis at 10:00pm, my drains were fixed and for an affordable price. My experience was very pleasant with Genesis Plumbing. I would 10/10 use this company again in the future. Thanks A Ton Gentlemen! read more

A handyman broke a pipe at noon and someone from Genesis was out to fix it by 3pm. Heroes! Was much more expensive than anticipated because of the unusual width of the pipe but I was on an incredibly tight timeline and grateful they could get everything patched up. read more

I had a few issues. I thought the master shut-off valve outside of my condo was faulty, the shut-off valve in one of my bathrooms was indeed faulty, the toilet needed a minor repair, and the shower drain needed to be snaked. I called Carlos at Genesis on Tuesday and he had someone at my place by 1pm on Wednesday. That guy, Rick, came in, listened to my explanation, understood what needed to be done right away, determined that the master valve was actually fine, and then got right to work on the other tasks. He was friendly, quiet and efficient. In a world where customer service appears to be dead and no one seems to know what they're doing, this was a refreshing change. Thanks, Genesis. read more

Awesome service. JC/ Robert was awesome. Called because I needed a plumber to snake my main. Were here in less than 30 minutes on a Friday! Turned out my house wasn't exactly built correctly and 60 years later we finally found the real reason the drains weren't working properly. Needless to say if you need an: 1) Affordable 2) Honest 3) Worthwhile and can find the real problem, not create a plan for more service.. Plumber, check with these guys. I was not disappointed in the least. Thank you for your help! Sincerely, Rhianna Phelps & Shawn P. of Imperial Beach read more

Called this morning at 9:15 about a backed-up kitchen sink. Was told they could have someone here in a few hours and I asked what time (because I would have tried to find someone to come sooner) and he said he could have a guy here in an hour and gave me Miguel's name. Miguel showed up on time and fixed our problem right away. He made sure to snake the drain all the way to the sewer so the problem wouldn't happen again any time soon and reminded us not to put eggshells down the drain. It was cheaper than a different company we called couple years ago when the laundry needed to be snaked. I would definitely call Genesis again if we need them! Thanks guys read more

We had to get 3 sinks snaked. The guys showed up on time, professional and friendly, got the job done fast. Javier and his partner (didn't get his name) did a great job. Javier also made suggestions for things he noticed that may need attention in the near the future. Not an up sell just sharing knowledge. We had a water leak recently due to A/C drain pipe to the bathroom sink being clogged, he recommended a filter be installed into the pipe which can be cleared out twice a year so this doesn't happen again. He made other suggestions as well. Good guys / honest straight shooters. I'll definitely be using Genesis for future jobs. read more

Our beautiful home in Coronado has renters in for the month of July. Yesterday morning an upstairs leak caused a call to Genesis.. water was pouring out of the walls. Carlos and his crew are absolutely amazing. We had a plumbing problem under our kitchen sink and hardwood floor and I called Genesis in the evening. Carlos had a crew member out to our home by midday the next day and the problem was resolved with very little expense. Genesis is a company with integrity that is fair to customers, charges reasonable rates and is very responsive. This is the best plumbing company I have ever used. read more

Its the beginning of the long holiday weekend, and of course we have a backup in a high rise HOA we manage. Bill Howe came and left without fixing the problem, and I had used Genesis once before, so recommended them to fellow manager. They were hired by a since fired general contractor to start a commercial plumbing job. All I can say is verify & check the work and compare it to the invoice before paying. My mistake for not doing so. They would not correct their work with out additional costs. read more

Excellent service & professional company! I had a clogged kitchen sink due to eroded garbage disposal. Genesis Plumbing came out and installed new garbage disposal very fast and professional. Carlos and Genesis Plumbing were quick to asses the problem (our condo complex had intermittent water pressure, and we were not able to shut off the water to the whole building), and provided a number of options for our HOA to analyze. The water heater broke and water was flooding throughout the cottage with original red oak floors! After the tenant shut it off, towel dried the floor & put a few fans on, she notified me. At 10:00 PM, I went to Yelp for plumbing reviews. Several plumbers listed 24 hour service. Only one plumbing company, Genesis Plumbing's owner, Carlos Rojas, answered the 10:00 PM phone call. After some fact finding during our conversation, he came at 8:00 AM the next morning and removed & hauled away the old water heater, then installed the new water heater. Easy peasy!
