I absolutely recommend Bentley's without any reservation. We first used them for twice-yearly…read moremaintenance for 4-5 years due to having very old heat and A/C systems. They give great service, often the same-day or next-day, and were very knowledgeable and honest with me about keeping my systems operable as long as possible. When we finally decided to replace them, we got multiple quotes, of course. Bentley's cost was the lowest, and one of "the bigs" in town had their lowest quote literally twice what Bentley's was! That said, they had priced in replacing all ductwork which I didn't ask for - this really felt like a ripoff attempt, so I chose not to pursue further quotes from them. Bentley got the job done in one day, including replacing just the ductwork for the returns, and cutting two new returns. Our new systems work great and are much more efficient than the old ones. We hired them back again this winter to resume twice-yearly maintenance, and they quickly fixed a little rattle we had noticed. I was also pleasantly surprised that the annual maintenance cost had not been increased, unlike just about every other price around us these days. A native Greenvillian friend had recommended this company to me, and after working with them, I know why, and I recommend them too. Definitely worth at least getting a quote from them. Very honest, very good at the work, reasonably priced, just all around a great experience. It's so refreshing to have a vendor you can rely on.

My husband called them at 1:57pm. They called back at 2:02pm and the heat pump was fixed by 3:26pm. He first said that they would come by tomorrow (Friday) but then he asked my husband how old he was. When he told him that he was 82 the owner, James Riggins, said he would be right over! Super nice. Super knowledgeable. And very compassionate. I would call no one else EVER. These are the people that you want to do business with over and over again. Will recommend to everyone.

I then watched some of his YouTube videos which only reassured me of his expertise. Ted worked me in quickly to replace both AC units and furnaces. They arrived on time and completed the job fairly quickly. All of the workers made sure not to make a mess while carrying the old equipment out and bringing the new equipment back inside. They even swept the stairs after the job was completed. Ted called after the install to ensure that I was satisfied with everything. I am more than satisfied with the service I received. I live in San Francisco, but my Mother lives in Pendleton. I asked for their help in checking out her 15 year old HVAC unit and they did everything they said they would. The owner stated the part that needed to be replaced was on a 12 week delay OR we could purchase a…read morenew system and have it installed within the week. If we did not go with a new system and wait on the part, his quote included the part fee (even though it was covered by warranty) AND his personal handling fee of $500 for calling in the warranty request. While at the house, the workers with him were also overheard talking about him pulling permits but allowing someone else to do the work. We got leery and decided to get a second opinion. We went with someone else who told us the part was under warranty, they had it replaced in 2 days and needed 10 pounds less Freon than we were quote by the owner. This second option saved us thousands of dollars, even more if we had gone with a completely new system.
