It is a much more intimate and a community oriented experience. The stadium is beautiful. There were a lot of fun activities and events including dizzy bats, a tricycle race and my favorite thanks to two very enthusiastic participants ...the bubble balloon fight. It was also great to see so many kids participating in fun activities throughout the evening. The game was great and it was cool to see the Railcats put on a show and exit with a win. The food was excellent and I was surprised by the quality and variety. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. The owners are doing an amazing job involving the community and creating such a endearing and fun experience for everyone in the area.

Its indeed a great field and always enjoyable so comes highly recommended. So it goes without saying that before my last experience and sixth game I would have gladly given a five star rating to the Gary Railcats stadium. However, after leaving my wallet at the consession stand this past game and it having been turned in within minutes without my cash it was dissapponting. I luckily asked enough staff members and was able to speak to the staff employee who found it and turned it in but believe he also stole my cash(it was either he or the manager in the box office). So despite being such a nice ball club, polite staff, great daily specials, nice gift shop and more its saddening to say the least.

I…read moreattended a Rush University graduation recently, ended up getting to my seat very late as there were so many people trying to park, walk, and enter. I missed the start of the event. I was able to find a parking spot in a garage, paid a load of cash, and was nearly squashed trying to navigate into the structure. Even with people in neon vests on the street directing traffic, it was chaotic. I can't figure out why they'd put an arena this size in a tiny footprint in a crowded city. The seats were tiny, uncomfortable, and the steps to them so steep that older folks were really struggling to climb them. The acoustics were good. I could clearly hear the speakers. Next time, I'll take an Uber and get there extra early.

But I've been to a lot of baseball tournaments with my son's travel team and this place has some pros: -covered dugouts and seats (extremely useful when we got rained out one day) -concession stand with good smoothies and fries (bar was not open) -working indoor bathrooms (no porta potties) It desperately needs a rehab but its not an awful place.

NO COOLERS ALLOWED SPORTS COMPLEX…read more Ho Chunk Sports Complex is a baseball facility built specifically for youth teams. It was 95+ degrees each of the three days we played there. Heat index was above 100 degrees. There is no shade structures, trees or way to get out of the sun. And everywhere you looked all you saw was signs banning coolers. What the heck are they thinking? Really, honestly, I'm still trying to figure this one out.

Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Almost all had smiles and greetings as fans walked through the doors. I would like to think it was because EVERYONE was excited to see Rush. The bathrooms were very clean and orderly. The concession area was very busy but clean and lines moved very quickly. I only had popcorn and soda. The popcorn was perfect! Not too chewy, not too salty. It was just right. The venue had clear signage and plenty of staff so it was easy to navigate. There is plenty of parking nearby as well as hotel accommodations. I would highly recommend seeing a concert here.

I revived weekly emails about 1 month before the concert, informing me of parking/bag/ticket info, etc. There were plenty of merch stations, food and drink spots, and helpful staff. Bathrooms were clean and chairs were comfy and padded. Chairs and floor were clean. Everything inside looked new. Drink menu looked great and syrups are made in-house at the bar in the 200 level. One drink with tax and tip is about $26 though, so beware. I would gladly return to this arena for another concert.

Drink prices here are through the roof (which is to be expected but still kinda annoying). I paid $36 for 2 cans of modelos. Most sections had no security so there were many people who kept seat hoping. It was mainly an issue for people who had front row seats since people would sneak into your spot if you left to use the restroom, to the bar, etc.. they'd move out of your spot once you returned but it's still annoying to have to repetitively do that if you need to leave for a short period of time. I was there for today's 10:35 am game with the New York Boulders, they play night games and day games, and sometimes 10:35 am on a weekday morning, they only have won more weekday 10:35 first pitch for this season and that is tomorrow morning with the same team, and they have games in August at home. Our seats were an amazing view of first base and there were a variety of crowd engagement activities. Some of the best stadium food can be found there too. Usually I get nachos, but I switched it up this time by going to Lucky's for the Gochujang Bubble Waffle. It was the perfect balance of spicy and sweet and well worth the price. Later on I grabbed a margarita that came in a cute souvenir cup. It was fun to drink and helped keep me cool. I look forward to attending more Sox games in the future!
