They do drop off service. They got newer and older machines. The bathroom has a coin operated lock on the door. For $6-$7 you can do a load in an hour and a half. It's not the most immaculate laundromat I have been in, but it serves its purpose and there is a Mexican restaurant across the street with some good ass food. Where to start...I will say that I was able to get my two loads of laundry done. But how it all started... My husband is here for a temporary work assignment & I came over for the long weekend to visit. He's been here two weeks and laundry eventually has to be done. Of course both washers & dryers at our hotel are broken, the hotel does not offer service (wyndham in case anybody's interested) thus I find myself at one of the two laundromats in Moses Lake on this fine Saturday morning. This place is fairly gross as the other reviews have stated. Junky, falling apart floors, duck taped vinyl benches, 8 billion dead bugs on the windows and half of everything out of order. Of the twenty regular washing machines 6 are working! Of the 22 dryers 1/2 are working. I didn't speak to the attendant so I cannot comment on her rudeness or lack thereof. She does stay back in a caged off area - literally a cage - with heavy wire grate around it. Clearly she isn't paid to clean the laundromat. Self serve or laundry service where they wash and fold. New machines, CLEAN and friendly service!

As of July 15th 2020 there is a new owner of the General Laundry business in Moses Lake and he has invested in new Huebsch washers and dryers a new change machine too. The cooler helps keep the bldg more comfortable during the warmer months too. The Google page shows some photos of the new machines and the old photos have been flagged for removal, so all negative reviews on Yelp are now irrelevant. Before I begin, the machines work, and there is parking in the back. However, this place needs some serious work. The floor is cracking, spider webs ( or some sort of small insect ), exposed dry wall,generally this place needs some TLC and maybe a face lift. read more

Being stationed in Moses Lake for weeks at a time has it's challenges. One such challenge is getting my clothes cleaned and ready for the next week. My coworker, Liz D. pointed me to General Laundry. General Laundry is a nice surprise, nestled at the corner of E. Broadway and Pioneer Way. The place is huge with lots of washers and driers, from household to commercial size. The facility is well lit and attended. A friendly staff is available to make change or provide supplies like detergent and fabric softener. There's lots of things to pass the time, like pool tables, video games and TV. They will even wash and fold your laundry if you don't have time to do it yourself. Business travel is tough, but at least General Laundry is there to keep things fresh and clean! read more

A very rude horrible place. The lady working at the desk was extremely mean and angry. She kicked me out for telling my partner that she was being mean Here's the story, We get there and it wasn't busy at all. A nice lady doing her laundry opened the door for me.I saw that they sold dryer sheets and went up to the front desk to buy some. The lady was extremely harsh and didn't even say hi when I said hi. She slammed boxes down and then I pulled out my card and before I could ask about if they take it or not she just sai "It HAS to be cash". There weren't any signs anywhere that said they didn't take cash. I replied with "Ok I didn't know and you didn't need to be so rude" She then kicked me out after me telling my partner that she was being rude. She was watching me through the window, just watching. Creepily and with hatred. "You can't say that about me you need to leave" And she then went back on her phone. I was so upset and she even caused a scene in her own business place. I have to say living in moses lake is interesting. This is the best laundry service in moses lake. There are 3 in town, there were 4 but buildings roof fell in on itself. So its just 3 now. The one by walmart is nasty the one in cascade valley has signs every where " use at own risk", it smells of sewer so badly I could not stay in the building for more than in 1 min. This business use to be nasty and the Mexican girls that worked/owned it were very rude. The folks that own it now are very nice. The place is clean and new machines. I have just moved to moses lake and had no way to do laundry I found this laundromat online the lady the first time I went was rude to my 9 year old when she asked to use the restroom then the guy came in and rushed me out around 8:30 and being rude saying it doesn't take an hour to do laundry. The second time I gave them the benefit of the doubt maybe they were just having a bad day so I went back and again she was rude about the bathroom to my son this time and the guy once again rushed me out again around 8:45 this time but no rude comment and now the third and final time I will eve go here the woman was ok this time but it was only 6:45 and the guy was being rude to me and 2 others saying to hurry and get out when they aren't supposed to close until 9 and last wash is at 8 what a bunch of bullsgit I will say my worst experience ever in a laundry Matt. read more

Wow, my washing machine broke so I went to the Moses lk laundromat near Walmart and saw it was packed so I came here. I had not even made it to a washing machine before one very cranky worker (maybe named Rochelle or Michelle hearing her answer the phone later) came up to me and said "you can't leave and need to stay here when doing your load of laundry". It was 8:06pm and the sign said they close at ten with last load starting at 9pm. I asked her if they were closing early? She then gets very sarcastic and said "I have been working here for years and know how long a load of laundry takes!" I asked if we met before or why she was being so rude to someone who has never been here and literally just walked in the door. She exclaimed "I am tired of all the lip". I told her I was using the commercial washer (26 minutes it turns out) and drying was 25 in the commercial dryers and would be done before 9pm let alone the closing time of ten. Three other customers were staring at her and seemed about as shocked as me. I can get over the dated laundromat and number of machines out of order but good God this treatment was simply uncalled for. I own two companies and have run others. An employee can have a bad day but if any if mine ever treated a customer like this I would fire them without hesitation. It does not take many interactions like this to kill your customer base. If the owners read this you obviously know you have modern competition less than a mile away and it's packed every day I go to the gym next door. If you don't have the money to get machines fixed you can compete if you have staff who treat customers great (or at least human). I noticed she turned off the open sign at 8:45 pm. I am going to get a new washing machine in the morning and feel for the folks who don't have that option and come to this place. read more

Convenient location, but there is little to no parking (street only with about 4 car lengths as far as I saw). I only needed to wash an oversized comforter and their big machine was out of service and the "bigger than normal" machines looked far too small, so I went elsewhere. There was a dog at the desk, which was weird for a place the public goes to do their laundry, and the place was very dark. read more

I have never seen a place with so many out of order washers and dryers. They have ONE large commercial washer and one medium that are always in use. I need the laundromat for large blankets that cannot fit in at home. I go here when the other one in town is too busy and it never changes. Today there are twelve small washers out of order and 7 dryers. 5 washers and 4 dryers are in use by the staff for customer laundry. The four washers left are in use with a wait. This is a better location than the other place but pretty pointless when you cannot use anything. The owner needs to either fix his machines and maintain them or sell the place to done one with the money to do it and this place would make some money read more
