Carne asada y mojo de ajo (such good buttery shrimp)
    Danielle W.

I am thrilled that Gena opened her own spot and it's even closer to me now! The carne asada y mojo and molcajete are standouts, as well as their shredded chicken taquitos. Gena is always so welcoming and makes such a fun atmosphere! So happy to have this spot in the neighborhood!

The food was cold and I found I a hair in it. And service was slow. Unfortunate because they just opened. Won't be returning

The food was bland and the amount did not justify the price. The service was good as was the ambiance.

Such a cute place with great food and attentive service. We loved the season drink menu and the carne asada nachos were so good.

How wrong I was!!! We found this place on Yelp and it looked like a winner...4.7stars and right next to our hotel. We dined on a Saturday night and the place was packed...we got the last open table. I really loved the decorations inside- colorful, festive, and some really neat Dia De Los Muertos styled paintings. Our server was great and went through the menu...lots of selections. I wasn't super hungry so I got 3 street tacos (1 al pastor, 1 carnitas and 1 tinga). My son got an al pastor quesadilla and my wife got pollo tacos. The chips and salsa were good and held us over until the food came. When the food came they also brought out 3 more salsas in squeeze bottles and all of these were great too. All 3 of my street were very flavorful and all incredibly tender. Sometimes chicken and carnitas can be pretty bland but not here...these were exactly what I was looking for. My family loved their food as well and we left wishing we had a Los Habaneros Taqueria back in AZ! When I was paying for our meal at the cashier several people were picking up to go meals and heard we were from AZ visiting and both parties said we found the best spot in Spokane for Mexican food. I don't doubt them for a minute...this was dynamite.

The ambience is perfect.. festive but sleek with an upscale nod! We started the evening with some margaritas all around... spicy, grilled pineapple and regular all of which were delicious! The chips were crisp and the salsa incredible with the perfect spice and chunkiness. They also have a guacamole that is fresh and bursting with flavor... incredible! Since moving here 7 years ago from the pacific southwest I am always on the hunt for a fish taco that will rival what we believe are the best fish tacos ever and I think I have finally found that here at Mole. It was a great mix of cabbage, pico de gallo, pickled onions and grilled pineapple salsa. I am in heaven! Also ordered at our table were the fajitas which were delicious, flavorful and more than enough food to be shared by 2. It was a great evening in every way and we will absolutely be back for more fish tacos!

Totally understandable, but our second server couldn't have cared less about our dining experience. We had to ask for a salsa and chip refill six times before it arrived at our table- I wish I was kidding. Our dirty appetizer dishes, plates and drink glasses sat on the table our entire meal, and no one came back to check on us. We also had to flag down our server when we wanted to order our dinner, more drinks, and ask for more water. Most disappointing of all, our graduation party, that no one asked us about, had 8 people meaning this awful service got tipped 18%. I completely understand having automatic gratuity on large parties, but the service needs to be worth that 18% if you're going to charge it. This was our first and last time at Molé. The food and drinks truly were good, but the bad service outweighs the good eats.

So my husband and I made sure we ate there on a recent stay in Spokane (middle of June, 2026). When you first walk in the door (and we arrived early, thank God), there are paper menus to pick up. You think you should go straight to finding a table, but NO no no. If you look to your right you will see a big sign instructing you to order at the counter and THEY will find you a table. This was my first time here and there was no line, so I really didn't want to walk up to the counter and order hastily. My husband had a great idea. He would order us margaritas and I grabbed a table to wait. Not really correct, but I felt okay about it as the place wasn't crowded ... yet. Well we watched as everybody walked in and headed straight for a table. The servers had to tell each and every one of them to get in line and wait for the staff to send them to a table. Awkward to watch. However, we had a fantastic time. The food was incredible. I highly recommend the birria tacos, the tostada appetizer, and the churros. We also enjoyed the margaritas and the server told us if we needed any additional drinks to just come up to the bar and step to the left of the line and he would take care of us. I will definitely go back the next time I'm in Spokane.

There is plenty of seating so even if it looks busy, there are still tables available. Was a 10/10... now extremely disappointing…read more I hate writing this because the first time I came here, it was honestly a 10/10. The food was amazing, the people were great, and I was excited to come back. Yesterday, my girlfriend and I planned a date night and decided to order from here again. Since we have kids, we did pickup. We drove about 25 minutes, then waited another 25 minutes because the line was packed which I didn't mind because the food was that good the first time. But this time? Completely different experience. I ordered a bean burrito with cheese... and it had no beans. Just rice and cheese in a tortilla. Then the nachos, honestly, for $27, this was unacceptable. Dry chips, unmelted cheese, some tomatoes thrown on top, no meat, no beans just thrown together with no care. It looked and tasted like an afterthought. What made it worse is the lack of accountability. I tried calling multiple times last night and again this morning no answer. Calls just ring or don't go through. I even tried calling from different numbers. Nothing. At this point, it's not even about the money it's the principle. Mistakes happen, but not being able to reach anyone or have them make it right is frustrating. I really wanted to keep supporting this place because the first experience was great, but this completely missed the mark. If you go, just be aware the quality and consistency might not be what you expect.

For less than $14 after tax, it's a great price for unlimited tacos. They serve you chips and salsa, 2 tacos, plus refried beans and Mexican rice. You can then request more tacos, beans, and rice when you finish what you have. There was also a bowl of Mexican candy you could take from near the door, which I've never tried before. Chili powder and fruit flavors actually go quite well together. I removed a star from my rating because the service was a bit slow. After I finished my plate, there was a long wait before the server came back so I could ask for more food. I also wanted to try their cheesecake chimichangas, but they were out. Server was very friendly and attentive (you will feel like family here). The food was what fell short. I liked that they give you free chips, salsa, and BEAN DIP. Salsa was fresh made but had very little spice to it. Maybe if you ask they can give you a different salsa. Big menu with lots of options. Ordered the shrimp enchiladas. Came with huge shrimp but had no salsa or spice to it. I used some salsa that came with the chips to spice it up a little. Was craving tres leches cake for dessert but it wasn't on the menu. Only options were churros and fried ice cream. Ordered fried ice cream but it was a scoop of ice cream with corn flakes layered over the ball of ice cream. Should have gotten a warm crispy cinnamon flavored shell that goes with the ice cream, not STALE corn flakes! You guys can do better! Food was 3 stars, service was 5, so they got 4 stars.
