I've never left a negative review for any business, but this situation really warrants one. I…read morepurchased a used motorhome from Tim's Toys over two years ago. I have never taken possession of it. There was an issue with the front windshield, which kept popping out at the top corner. They replaced the windshield, but the problem continued. They took the motorhome to Tom's RV Service for further assistance. It turns out that this problem is inherent to the specific model I purchased. Tom did some research and found a remedy, which involves welding some cross braces to the lower framework. Tom repeatedly gave reasons why the work was not completed. One of which was valid and I understood that specific delay. However, that was several months ago, and the work still is not done. This is not the first time a delay has happened to me at Tom's. Several years ago I took an older motorhome to him for repairs. He sat on it for over a year before work was even started on it. I do NOT recommend Tom's RV Service. Take your business to Statkus RV Repair.

We recently took our RV into this shop to have our slides adjusted, and after it being there for…read moreover two months, we finally got it back in a condition that was nowhere near what it should have been. The communication throughout the process was almost nonexistent. We were also given a quote that was not honored, which was extremely frustrating. When we tried to address our concerns, employees, including the owner, Tom, were argumentative and unprofessional. Tom yelled at me when I questioned the situation, then quickly changed his tone once the issue was pointed out more clearly. One of the technicians also yelled at us while he was trying to point out flaws in the work. The technician said he did not know what condition the trailer was in when we brought it in, but instead of listening or helping resolve the concerns, he became defensive and raised his voice. Because of the way he was acting inside our camper, he was told to exit. At that point, we paid them just to be done with the situation, but the work itself was very poorly done. The slides were not repaired properly. Cords were left hanging loosely from the slides, and the slides wobble when going out, which is not right or safe. The rollers they installed also appear to be set way too high and are now breaking into the wood on the slide floors. Because of this, we are having to do additional work ourselves just to prevent the slide floor from being damaged further. Overall, this was a VERY disappointing experience. Between the lack of communication, not honoring the quote, unprofessional behavior, and poor workmanship, I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS SHOP!!!

In actuality the hydrologic lines needed to be replaced. $800 down the drain. Winterizing service- couldn't figure out flood in bathroom. They didn't drain the toilet sprayer it cracked. Had to replace on our trip. Oil change and check up - supposedly checked tire pressure. Again on the trip following that, we stopped to check on a lug nut cover. They saw the passenger front tire had threads showing. So we had to spend 2 extra nights, Friday till Monday. Had to order the tires. De-winterize- couldn't figure out why no hot water. Again on a trip. Had to call them, they forgot to reopen the bypass valve on the water heater. Very unprofessional and they have high prices. Would not recommend them.
