Here are the pros of this smaller store: - New Mexican and family owned - Competitive (and generally lower) prices - Black cat fireworks - Greater selection of individually-sold fireworks This store is cheaper and sells "black cat" fireworks. The other store is more expensive, they have more pre-configured box sets, and they sell "tnt" fireworks, but no black cats. Inconsiderate, Dishonest, and Completely Unprofessional Staff…read moreI am deeply upset and frustrated by the appalling treatment my family received from the staff handling the resident Balloon Fiesta passes this year. We have lived in the neighborhood directly adjacent to the park for five years. Every year, residents are rightfully given passes and tickets to compensate for the massive traffic, closures, and inconveniences we endure right outside our doorsteps. This year, the staff went out of their way to be hostile, difficult, and completely inconsiderate. My name was explicitly printed on their master list for our address. Because I had temporarily moved out for one month and recently returned, my current driver's license had not been updated yet, but I brought my old license showing the correct neighborhood address. Even though my identity and address matched their own paperwork, they rudely refused to give me the passes. Next, my boyfriend--whose parents actually own the home--went in to try and sort it out, and the staff gave him an incredibly hard time as well. Finally, my daughter, who has lived here continuously and brought an official utility bill under her name to prove residency, went in to collect them. Instead of honoring the residency proof, the staff shifted their story entirely and claimed they "ran out" of passes. How does an organization "run out" of passes that are specifically allocated per household on a master checklist? It is highly unbelievable and feels like a lazy, dishonest excuse to turn us away. To make matters worse, we watched the staff treat other individuals with warmth and respect, while treating my family with nothing but attitude and hostility. My daughter is now completely heartbroken that she cannot go to the balloon park this year solely because the staff refused to do their jobs properly. If you are a local resident dealing with the massive neighborhood disruptions, do not expect basic decency, consistency, or fairness from the people running this office. They need to retrain their staff on customer service and accountability.

The grass was so lush and the shade and giant trees really made the place seem from another place. We had shown up the other day as I heard the disc gold was really good here. When we arrived we didn't know where to go but luckily there were some locals in the parking lot that pointed us the way. It's not a huge park. The one fella who gave us some guidance luckily gave us the tip that there were about half as many baskets as tee boxes. For example, hole(basket) 5, was also hole 15. We were able to find each tee pretty easily and with the grass cut throughout we weren't likey to lose a disc. Things got a little more crazy when a large disc gold club of people arrived. Around 2 dozen people met up for a tournament of sorts. They all started on different holes and all of as sudden we had to be extra careful of our throws as many holes are in the way of throwing lanes. We finished without anyone getting hit in the head, but there were some close ones. Great park, good disc gold course, just be careful of strays frisbees.
