First time coming here as a stop on our road trip and we will definitely be going back! Amazing space with hundreds of options, we spent 30-40 minutes looking around. Amazing prices and offerings. Only downside is it's a wholesale style warehouse, so not everything is clearly marked. For example, some items you have to purchase by the box, while others you can purchase individually. Other times there was no pricing, but still worth the treasure hunt!

Here's some of the things I shot pics of while there to show my friends who were directing me on getting THEM things while there.

Once again, so delighted to shop here. All staff is kind and ready to help. The owner, (I'm guessing is him) is reasonable on pricing, considering the climate of expenses we all have.. hence why I still can afford to shop here. It's indoors and a cooler escape then the bright sun that tears my skin apart elsewhere in outdoor shopping. One stop shop! Carissa (spelling?) is fast at checkout, efficient and kind, if ur hubby is waiting in car and impatient. .. I'm very happy there's no sunburn for me! I made an excuse to hubby to go back again.. although I Recommend go early! As soon as many choices, you can really just max out your budget.. can't go wrong. Win win.

This weekend was my second trip to Gem World and it's now on my regular rotation any time I go to Arizona. Gem world is just what it sounds like, gems - rocks - beads - if it's a stone or gem you will likely find it here. This place is Disneyland for us rock nerds. The store is on overload and every time I walk in here I am completely overwhelmed in the best way. This store is gigantic and has rows upon rows of inventory. I was in the store for about an hour because there is just so much to see and experience. This store is pretty cool because it's famous. While I was wandering around I heard so many people share where they were from and people come here from all across the states. The prices here are extremely reasonable and I'll never buy from anywhere else. The stones and gems are real but they get them from what looks like to be overseas so they are able to charge them at such a reasonable rate. For example I bought two giant pink geode candle holders that very well would have cost me about $40 each at Anthropologie. Here they were $4 each! Come on! Everyone that shops here has their carts filled to the brim because you'll just never experience another place like it. People who are wholesalers shop here as well and up charge their product at other stores. Think about the last time you went into a tarot store or stone shop and the prices were pretty high, I feel confident to say they get some products from here given the prices so better to just come here to the source. The staff here are so freaking friendly and nice. 5 stars for attentiveness, politeness and helpfulness. Everyone that works here is so nice and welcoming. This store is a definitely a must stop shop if you are passing through into AZ or CA. Just regroup so you don't get overloaded with all of the "stuff" and once you get past that you'll be shocked how much you can find and at a great price.

I spent 3 day in Quartzite this Presidents Day Weekend to buy polished mineral spheres for our geology department. This was my first time visiting Gem World and it will not be the last. I was blown away by their prices, very low compared to places I had been buying from. I arrived here about noon and spent about 2 1/2 hours Saturday and about 40 minutes on Sunday. I must have saved our department at least $700. The large amethyst geode prices were amazing. One I saw for sale for $482 were at least $1200 to $1500 at some places I've seen in the Los Angeles area. Their staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I look forward to returning next year.

Beware of this business gave me a counterfeit $5 bill and change would not return the owner just denied it

Beware I received a fake counterfeit $5 bill in change from the store. I used a detector pen on it and as you can see it is definitely fake it feels like thin paper also.I asked to return it to the owner but he just said that it did not come from his store and he would not check the videotape. He became immediately defensive and told me to leave. Reporting to Police right now.

We had to charge electric car and Gem world was pointed out to me. Love, love this place! Great prices! Love the bags of goodies! I am a crafter so I like choices, options and deals! deals! deals! This place felt like an gem outlet. They had a clearance section and had some dried sage!!! I was admiring the natural stone bowls!!! I bought some bracelets made of aventurine and black agate. Highly recommend if looking for great deals! A crafters dream place!!!!

The biggest flea market you can imagine. A whole month is…read moreshop and walk. The best unique, affordable items you can think of are here. This place is more filled with older retired people, i continue to see more dogs in strollers than kids.

One of the many rock and mineral shows held during January/February in Quartzsite Arizona. This was…read moreour first year at the Tyson Wells show. Tyson Wells can be best described as a swap meet focused on rocks and minerals. But unlike the Desert Gardens show ( down the road), which is focused only on rocks and minerals, the Tyson Wells show has many more vendors selling junk items made in China. That's probably the biggest negative about this show. You'll find everything here from animal skulls, to glass pipes ( like the ones you see on Live PD), and they even have a grocery store that sells mostly expired food items that were discarded from grocery stores. Perhaps one of the saddest things I saw was that one vendor was selling stalagmites and stalactites in one of the dark alleys. It's illegal to collect, buy, and sell stalagmites in several states. So should you still go here? If you're driving the 10 in January, definitely! It's free to park and visit and they have so many interesting things for sale here. You'll probably spend more than hour here, but it's worth it. Note - Earlier in the week we visited the Desert Gardens down the road and if you're looking for strictly rocks, minerals and fossils to add to your collection that's a better choice. The Desert Gardens show was family-friendly, Tyson Wells is like a true swap meet so you should treat it as such with your kids. Tip - You MUST visit the actual Tyson Wells Storefront. It's on the main street and you can't miss their sign. It's mostly a gift store and a MASSIVE selection of board games. The owners are soooo friendly to kids...
