I've been here now several times for pedicures and just had my first gel manicure. For Mother's Day the manager was so sweet, she took my photo with my mother, and then presented us with a magnet with a picture with the two of us. We were also offered water or soda or diet soda while we were getting our treatments. The massage chairs at the pedicure stations are top notch and give a really nice shiatsu style massage. Not only is the customer service great but the quality of my manicure and pedicure are top-notch. I'm very picky because the place that I go to regularly in Los Angeles is quite small and high-end. I'm used to someone who has trained for years and really takes their technique seriously. The staff at BN are super! This establishment is extremely meticulous about sanitation, including putting plastic liners in the foot spa. They have a lot of color choices. I've never asked about nail art so I can't speak to that. Plenty of parking in the area. We paid $38 each for our pedicure and $20 for the manicure. I had gel polish which was an extra $20. TL/dr: Highest quality nail experience in the area.

Spring last year I had a big toenail break and I was worried to go to a salon, with the fear they would make it worse. I decided to finally invest in my pedicure. It was worth every penny. A year later my nail has grown back entirely and the health of my nails are better than ever. My technician Natalia is incredible. She is detailed, and provides fabulous service. I have always been very particular with my toenails, Natalia is the only person who has ever delivered on my expectations! I have NEVER left unhappy. From the beginning she has been very understanding of my micromanagement. A year later I don't even look when she's working. I trust her entirely with my pedicure. I don't say that lightly. Truly incredible! The salon is clean, organized, and aesthetically appealing. They are warm, welcoming and very well managed! The communication amongst the team is superb. If I ever have a concern or change of appointment I can contact the salon directly! If you are ready to invest in your feet this sandal season, no need to look any further. I was eventually seated with her, but apparently she had another appointment scheduled afterward, which I was never told about. Instead of finishing my nails, she stopped in the middle of the service and passed me over to another nail technician named Lili. Unfortunately, Lili could not do a basic French tip properly. She spent almost an entire hour just trying to make the French lines, and after seeing how they were turning out, I finally gave up and asked her to just leave my nails plain pink. If you cannot properly accommodate walk-ins because you already have appointments scheduled, then simply say you are unavailable. I would much rather be told to come back another day than pay $57 and receive rushed, unfinished, poor-quality service. This was actually my fourth time coming here, so I am especially disappointed because I gave this salon multiple chances and expected much better treatment. After this experience, I will not be coming back.

I needed to book an appointment quickly, so I ended up going with Allison (who had availability at the time). The online booking was well laid out and simple. When you arrive, just know it's next to a dance studio and only has a small sign. Trust your GPS! The first thing I noticed is the ambiance and aesthetic of this little shop. It's SO PRETTY. And, it doesn't stink of chemicals! Beyond that, they offer wild and fun nail designs AND other fun aesthetic services (tiny tattoos, tooth gems, lashes, and microblading). My nails ended up looking great and I booked my next appointment right then and there. Allison reminded me to send her any designs I'm interested in so she can let me know if it's doable and be sure to time the appointment correctly. Overall, a great spot for some beautification!

My stylist was 30 minutes late, and I left the salon with wet, frizzy hair instead of the finished style I had paid for. On top of that, I was charged $74 because of my hair length, even though the online booking showed $50. I contacted the salon about my experience and was told someone would be getting back to me. That was over a week ago, and I still haven't received a call or any follow-up. Mistakes happen, but what was most disappointing was the lack of communication and customer service. A simple phone call or an effort to address my concerns would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, that never happened, and I can't recommend a salon that doesn't stand behind its services.

Let me start by saying, I have come to this salon a few separate times and have recommended this…read moresalon to my friends on numerous occasions. I had come here in September to get nails on my birthday. They were beautiful blue french tips and came out great. Roughly 3 weeks later I had gone for a fill to get nails for Halloween and this was the worst experience I had ever had. I was there for over 3 hours for a fill in on a simple set. I had told one of the ladies I wanted just a black french and she said she could do some spider webs so I caved and said sure. Big mistake. One lady filed my nails and a different lady came over to start my fill. She sliced my fingers in numerous spots so bad and my middle finger on my left hand was cut so bad it was dripping blood. This lady instantly put alcohol on it and didn't say a thing. It burned so bad and I just sat there in pain. Looking back I wish I had said something about that because it wasn't right and my finger was in such bad pain. I had multiple smaller cuts on my other nails but this one was unbelievable. Not to mention, this lady had acrylic stuck under my nails and never took it out. It was my biggest pet peeve because i kept trying to get it out and I couldn't. After that, a completely different lady came over to show the previous lady how to do a french tip, seems like she had no idea and I was proven right. The second lady finished my black french and it looked so messy. The sides of the french were dragged all the way to my cuticles, the lines were not even AT ALL, they were shaky and the fingers on each hand didn't even match. At this point she hadn't even done the spider web and I wanted to just have her finish so I could leave but I gave the benefit of the doubt... I should've just paid and left. She ended up doing Spiderman's face. Which is NOT what I wanted at all as I am not a Spiderman fan. She said spider web not Spiderman's face. She wanted to do his eyes and at that point I told her not to and that I am done. This fill in cost me $75. On a messy, painful and not what I asked for fill in. I got in the car and cried about these nails and the money I had just wasted on something I was not happy with. The amount of pain I endured was not worth it. From a far my nails may have looked nice but up close I hated them. I thought my story would end there but it sadly did not. After this awful experience, I vowed to never return to this salon. I wished and wished these nails would have just fallen off instead of me prying them off. These nails stayed on for 6 WEEKS without budging. I got in contact with a private nail tech to see if she can help me. We ended up trying to soak these nails off and they would not budge in acetone. She was prying them off and nothing. I have no clue what product was used on my nails out they have caused permanent damage to my fingers. This nail tech said it feels as though super glue was used, and I believe that wasn't the case but super glue on my nails sounds scary. My nail tech refused to put a new set on as I have a "greenie" forming on one of my nails from this past set. She scrubbed and scrubbed to take these nails off and nails were so damaged I will never be able to get over it. My nails have permanent indents in them that I can only hope go away with growth and time. And I cannot get a new set of nails for maybe a month now as my nails are so thin and weary. I don't know what Amy's Nail Spa did to my nails but I now have to deal with all that damage on my own. Therefore, if you are looking for something that doesn't harm your nails in the moment and long-term, go to a private nail tech. The ladies that I dealt with on that day in October were aggressive with my fingers, did not care about anything, and are not knowledgeable enough to do nails. The photos I have included show my fill-in set the day I had gotten them done. The underneath of the nails with the extra acrylic, the messy french design, and the aftermath of my nails in current time. I will no longer recommend anyone to this business and I will never be back.
