Went in to winterize this fall and they suggested I do a tune up ? had the Platinum winterization package, what a joke. suggested I pull the motor and do preventative maintenance (boat has 340hrs). when I said no they wanted an Additional $300 to put the drive back on, why isn't that part of the Platinum pkg? when I picked up the boat they left tools in the engine bay. I checked the oil and I question if they ever changed the oil as it was dirty and it looked old. I'm sick over the fact that I paid another $1800 for winterization and an impeller change. I dropped my boat off on Monday and picked it up on Friday giving them the week to fix all issues with the expectation that all issues would be fixed. When I picked my boat up, they replaced the bunks, but simply listed other issues (bearings leaking grease, tires low on tread, guide on broken) rather than fixing them? Odd, but I figured I'd survive. They charged me $518 to replace two bunks... $384 in labor, seems a bit steep, but I figured it'd be done well and should last at least a few years. Two trips after the bunks were replaced the carpet had worn through on the bunks. I messaged Aaron who asked me to send a photo. I sent the photo and he told me that I likely "dry loaded" the boat which caused the issue. I told him that wasn't the case, and asked if I should expect the carpet to only last two trips? Regardless of how it's loaded I can't imagine this should take place with brand new carpet. To me it appears the bunks should be angled differently as the carpet is wearing on the top edge on both sides. Aaron has since not responded to my messages. I personally would not bring my boat here again. The carpet itself was listed at $30, so rather than taking a $30 hit and replacing it, I've been ghosted. I would recommend going elsewhere.. Every other place in the city was too busy to fit me in, but if I were you I'd wait an extra week or two to get your service done correctly.

Their conflict/resolution skills are nonexistent. We've stored our boat/trailer with them for 2 seasons, now, and this will obviously be our last. Recently Doug told us there was a mechanical issue that he fixed and charged us $450, then he brought our boat to the marina where we rent a slip. I have no confidence in his boat mechanical skills either, as several sketchy things have happened. He parked our boat in our slip at the marina. While storing it or working on it, they ripped several seams in the canvas. This was an older canvas, and I'm sure it happens all the time. We paid just $75 to a repair shop to have the seams re-sewn later, so no big deal. The problem is, instead of telling us they had ripped the canvas when they dropped the boat off in our slip, they balled it up and threw it on the floor of the boat and never told us they actually dropped it off there at all. For 2 weeks we were calling them (since we live an hour away) to see if the boat was dropped off, and they never answered their phones or voicemails. Finally we called the marina and the lady there went out and confirmed our boat was there in the slip, but uncovered. We drove right up and saw the condition of the boat. It had been sitting uncovered in the rain and storms for 2 weeks and incurred a great deal of cosmetic damage. The carpets and upholstery was significantly water damaged. And we quickly discovered there was mechanical damage as well. For another month we tried calling Valley Marine several times a week, leaving messages and they never called us back. I finally reached them by phone and Doug told me he was not going to return our trailer to us until we paid for the $450 repair he had made. I explained to him that the damages they caused greatly exceed that amount, and he said, "I won't let you talk and I won't listen to you." So now we have to get a police escort to get our trailer returned, and there will likely be a civil suit for the damages to our boat. Do not trust these people. They are unreasonable and they have now refused to return our trailer. Definitely more trouble than it's worth.

They did half the work and then were completely unresponsive for the other canvas work. I had 2 colors of canvas for over half the summer. They told me that when "Dealer Orders" or "Other Work" come in, they put outside work on hold. I never heard of this. The work they did is sketchy at best and the bimini holds water after rain. I hired Carl from Marine Tops to redo all the work. If you have any questions on NEW Canvas, just walk around any Marina and ask people. Their reputation is well known, and it is not good.

We were told it gets water tested before delivery... you would think they would check everything. we were excited to get it in the water and found the depth finder didnt work.. went in and they said they would schedule someine to look at it.. waited another 2 weeks because the one guy had deliveries to make and he wouldnt be in my area.. when he finally came to look, he was friendly but low and behold we have to order another part. currently waiting on a transducer and if that isnt the problem they will have to order another depth finder. who knows how long that will take! I would think when you are spending 70 grand on a new boat it ahould be usable.
