Got my car in right away for an exhaust leak. Fixed within a week and reasonable pricing!

I brought my BMW to Gehman Exhaust and they were very quick on service, got my car in and done in a day with scheduling. They let me know the kit I brought in wouldn't work, but they could fabricate pipe for me for my muffler delete. They did very well, everything looks clean and sounds great, pricing was great as well. Will be bringing more vehicles to them in the future. read more

Ok, so this is for an exhaust issue that was resolved here a bit ago, but it fits in the theme of most of the reviews. I had my 2007 SAAB 9-3 2.0T in for a state inspection. The SAAB specialist said the flex pipe was cracked and needed replacement. He could get an OEM replacement part, maybe for $700 (!). So he sent me home with a recommended shop. I did some research and ended up at Gehman's. They put in a SS flex pipe for less than $40. When I took "Sven" back to the original shop for my emmissions sticker, the owner made a copy of the invoice, he couldn't believe how inexpensive it was. He also said the weld quality was exceptional. Still in service on the car to this day. Highly recommended over any other exhaust shop! read more

Went in today for a muffler swap, resonator delete, and a chrome tip. People were kind and excellent, mechanic had me listen to the muffler to make sure i was happy with it and was super respectful. Excellent repair and customer service. 2006 Avalon need a "Y" pipe to go to twin mufflers. My regular mechanic said the part alone cost almost $600. Recommended I go to Gehmans because they could probably fabricate the part and install for about $100. Took his advice and the exhaust was repaired I. 1 day at a cost of $65. I'm still in shock and will use Gehmans for all my exhaust work in the future. Nerdy nice people. read more

I called the shop to make an appointment and was give a timeslot two days later. I got there a bit early and they took my car right in. I had a new exhaust installed a few months ago, but I wasn't happy with the previous work done by the original shop and the questionable quality of the exhaust. I explained this to the gentlemen looking at my car. They said they would try to adjust it and said they would most likely have to cut and re-weld the exhaust. I told them they had carte blanche to do whatever needed to be done. At any normal shop, that is a HUGE no-no. But I trust Gehmans. Well, the proof was in the pudding (and photo). The tips don't stick out, they aren't tilted and they don't sag. And the price? Extremely reasonable. The people here are great. Usually "pleasant experience" and "auto repair shop" don't cohabitate in a sentence. In this case, they absolutely do! read more

They've fixed multiple exhaust leaks for me, saving me hundreds of dollars. My daughter's 2006 Matrix wouldn't pass inspection due to multiple cracks in the exhaust, Gehman's fixed all of them for less than $100. Two years later, the exhaust is still leak free. read more

First of all, they're now at 1450 Reading Rd., Mohnton. At least, that's what you'll want to put in your GPS, and you WILL want to put it in your GPS because these guys are AMAZING! My used car failed its inspection. The mechanic said it would cost me $1200. "...if you want to keep the car a few more years," he said. Well, I just bought the car three months ago, so yeah, I want to keep it. But $1200? Um.... no. Despite the fact that Gehman Exhaust is an hour away from me, I took a chance on them after extensive googling, not just here but on car enthusiast message boards. I read nothing but good things. Affordability and competence seemed to be the main themes. The folks at Gehman took a look at the car and quoted me $30. Then they called back when it was done and it was $24.78. They're also really friendly, which is a bonus. They have a little sign requesting modest dress, which seems reasonable. For that kind of savings, I'd wear an ape suit and roller skates if asked! I was referred to Gehman's after myself and several others ran over something on 222 that ripped a hole in my flex pipe over the weekend. I called Gehman's first thing Monday morning and they told me to come right over. Earl & Ron were so friendly and took me right in. They are a very busy shop. The phone never stopped ringing but they took each call and gave everyone an estimate while finding a time to get them in that day or by the end of the week. I was very impressed by how they ran their business and amazed when I heard my car's engine start up and sound great again, so quickly after I arrived! I haven't been to gehmans in over 5 years since I moved to San Antonio,TX but I'm going to be visiting in 2 weeks and I plan to have them put on my catback system for my 2014 Mustang GT. I couldn't agree any more with Scott's review. The waiting period for me was the next morning after I called. I had a dime sized hole in my muffler. I didn't really expect them to do any work when I showed up. I thought they would just examine it and just quote me, and ask what kind of muffler I wanted...All that stuff. I know places like this are pretty busy. As soon as I walked in, they told me to bring my car up on the lift. Very nice people. Asked me all the right questions. I definitely like how you can observe them working. Kinda neat watching their process and you can chime in at anytime. Super cheap, great welds... They are very laconic. But it's not too uncomfortable. Sorry Red Run for not making the appointment you scheduled me in 3 weeks. Lol. read more

I get very skeptical when I read reviews and they are 100% excellent; been burned before this way on Trip Advisor, with friends & family of the business owner apparently 'stuffing the ballot boxes", but believe me that everything that is written about Gehman is accurate. Quick, reasonable, professional and worth the 45 minute drive each way for us at the recommendation of our local mechanic. By the way, when your local mechanic says they no longer do exhaust work since Gehman does "incredible" work at a fraction of what we could charge, AND has their own exhaust work done by the Gehmans, enough said......I will be a loyal customer of Gehman's for any/all exhaust work for as long as I live within a couple of hours of their shop!
