My sister and I arrived without an appointment and they were fast to either get us in or set something up for later that day. Snot was available and created exactly what we wanted, I ended up adding another small tattoo and he was extremely fair on pricing! The set up inside was awesome! Snot had the best practices I've seen as far as cleanliness and handling of his equipment and that made me feel taken care of. Our tattoos turned out excellent and he is a hilarious storyteller! The shop: The front is unassuming, but the interior is fantastic. Really nice booths, TVs everywhere, awesome art work and decor. Cale did an amazing job turning his dream into a reality. Artists: I have only ever used Cale and he is one of the best tattoo artists I've ever met. I have seen all of the artists work and I'd trust every one of them to tattoo me. Price: Very reasonable. I got a small tattoo and then she touched up a small tattoo that had faded really bad. The shop gives a good vibe and they play good music. HI SISTERS. I'm going to start off by saying I think there are a lot of amazing artists at this shop and I hope they leave soon. I've been holding this in for a long time out of respect for my artist who just left this TOXIC ass place. The misogyny that goes on in this shop is also ridiculous So, I started seeing Sonya about two years ago at Geek Ink Tattoo. She was working on a sleeve for me (and other pieces) so I was in the shop a lot. A lot of the artists are chill. When I was there we would all sit around and throw shade at each other. So what is my problem with this shop you may ask? Well, Rickie Lemons is my MAIN problem and has been since I've started going to this shop. He has done some pretty unethical things that could have ruined another artist's reputation (I was politely asked not to go into detail), fight the apprentice and shoved his 5 year old in my face yelling "THIS LADY CALLED YOU UGLY. SHE THINKS YOU'RE UGLY!" Let me back up. Haha. I'm not going into too much detail because I was politely asked not to leak this one to the public but he did some things that could have ruined another artist's reputation and potentially the shop's. Moving forward, I guess his ego took a hit when I jokingly told him I swiped left and he started going off on me. When he finally calmed down he said "I have to pick up my kid. He's going to get stolen" and I said "aw is your kid cute enough to steal?" And he was like "yes!" And even showed me photos. There was a room full of people. I told him "he is pretty cute" and then when he brought his son back to the shop he pushes his then 5 year old towards me and says "THIS IS THE LADY THAT CALLED YOU UGLY! SHE THINKS YOU'RE UGLY!" and his poor kid looked so confused. Everyone in the room felt awkward and it was silent. It was later reported to Cale....who did nothing. He said "Rickie is going through a rough patch with his ex" and nothing was said to me at all. Can you imagine being a new client walking in to get a tattoo or even your FIRST tattoo and experiencing that awkward encounter? That is SO unprofessional. Cale lets Rickie get away with everything. There's an excuse for everything Rickie does in Cale's eyes. Even somehow trying to fight Alex THREE WEEKS AFTER THAT INCIDENT in the shop was excused. Cale does not care about people until they start posting reviews about his shop so now that my artist is gone and safe I'm going to do just that. I do apologize to the artists that are at Geek Ink that have to see this post. The only way to catch Cale's eye is to blast shit on social for the world to see. Something NEEDS to be done about Rickie. I cannot support a shop like this any longer. Also, if you're seeing this Cale, get your artists a front desk person. They deserve it Side note Rickie is trying to open his own shop. I'm not supporting that shit obviously either. read more

Today I got a butterfly tattoo from Alex and he was the absolute best. I was nervous and I think he could tell. He talked to me during the entire session and walked me through what we were going to do. The tattooing only took about 45 minutes. His pricing is spot on and fair. My experience with geekWhen an artist schedules you for a wrong date and doesn't show or anyone answering phone calls at this shop yesterday and today to verify my appt and I come in today at the time specified on the card and was told nothing they can do and cannot get my deposit back without the card and not until July. And then this lovely message was sent to me by the artist " If the date is in fact wrong on the card you can bring it to me in july to get a refund for the deposit. After being forced to live over a month without working I can effectively assure you I wont have anything to give anyone, and it will take time to recover from. I apologize that a global pandemic has caused you such an inconvenience." As someone who has been struggling financially myself (not to mention that I'm a nurse who is caring for the sick during this pandemic and single parent of a small child at home and grandma to take care of) find this completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Talked to manager, who said the same thing. Would not recommend. If you do go here Sonya is the best and a friend of mine who was totally understanding about my frustration over this. Keep your 60$ Anthony I feel bad taking my money for services not received back from you but since you won't have anything to give and need to recover just keep it. Many people are struggling just as you are but that's not considered I suppose. read more
