Soooo, I suggested my mom and I go (as we both wanted specific tattoos). She went first and they talked her out of a very specific ribbon. I had came ahead but had to leave and come back. Upon my return, the artist made it clear that the shop would not apply the specific color to my "skin type"...."melanated". OH WoWzers!!! So...the shop has the color but is refusing what I am requesting due to my skin color. OK, got it. The shop did say I could pay full price for the tattoo without the color (that they have in stock and on hand). The color is cancer specific and not getting the color defeats the purpose of getting the ribbon.
