I had an appointment with Hannah at anchor and rose. She absolutely KILLED it. She was super friendly, and delicate and super fun to chat with throughout the process. She meticulously placed the stencil and made sure that I was really happy with the placement. Her line work is impeccable. The journey continues.... I actually visited this shop twice while seeking a tattoo. I wanted to give this place another chance (as I thought maybe I went on an off day). Welp....confirmed!! This just is the culture of the shop. Customer service just wasn't the best. I was ignored by staff upon entering and the artist drafted a design (while leaving me alone for 1.5 hours). When I wanted to make adjustments, the artist seemed irritated. I am not sure how we can design a tattoo if we are not collaborating. I decided to take a beat and then return (as I was running out of places to visit). Upon entering (the 2nd visit). No one acknowledged me or said hello. The mood in the shop just wasn't welcoming (at least to me or maybe people who look like me). read more

I got my first tattoos today by Hunter, and I am thrilled with them. He was super helpful and flexible, and his art is beautiful. Just what I asked for. The rest of the shop employees were great as well- singing along with the music and friendly banter exchanges with us and the others in the shop. I already feel the itch for my next visit. read more

Small shop. Only 2 artists working. The artist we got seemed pleased enough to be helping our group of 4. One in our group was a little lady so Hannah(the artist) had already started drawing. When the other friend arrived she asked for the paperwork to fill out, Hannah totally ignored her. She went back to finish the outlines and get started setting up. I didn't like the script she put on the sketch and asked her to remove it. Her attitude then changed from kind to annoyed. Our first friend went back to get hers and it was taking a long time. After myself and my other friend sat up there for 45 minutes(my friend still not even acknowledged by Hannah) we decided to just let the other 2 in our group get their tattoos and we left. My friend and I came in as walk-ins for our first tattoos a couple of days ago. Hunter was happy to adjust our designs and placements multiple times and was extremely patient with us! He answered all of our questions and put our nerves at ease. Not to mention the tattoos were over quickly and came out better than either of us had hoped for. The artist are rude and never respond. We cfollowed steps to setup time with an artist. we emailed, went to the shop twice. The artist took nearly two months to respond and both times we went to the shop they were closed during posted open hours. Its hard to get an appointment here and honestly with the attitude you get from them it isn't worth your time. read more

Do not recommend, especially if it's your first tattoo. They are rude and inconsiderate of your time. They will place you on the back burner and forget about you. I didn't get a tattoo so I can't rate the work the artist do. But I can say they were rude. Wasted my time so I'm making sure I post a review everywhere because they made me mad. I do see they treat their employees good, but not their customers which are both equally very important. I've been to a few shops in the Tulsa area and this one was the nicest by far. My first tat6was a cover up and wow you cant even tell I had another tattoo. Then my second one me and my mother both went in on a spur of the moment hey let's see how much these will cost. And an hour later I was happy to be able to look done at my arm and see my new tattoo and I couldn't beat the price! So I recommend this store to everyone I talk to and will be exclusively using them from now on. read more

I'm a big fan of this tattoo shop after one piercing and one tattoo for me and some ink for my husband. I've been in a few shops in my day, and this one has a comfortable, yet professional aura. I instantly felt welcome and at ease. Austin not only inked my completely original idea but knocked it out of the park. The design wasn't easy, and he spent a lot of time getting it drawn out to my liking, and inking it with superior care and design. The art deco flowers he did are, in a word, exquisite. The other aspects of the design were done so carefully and flawlessly, that it still takes my breath away. Even the placement of the tattoo couldn't have been any more perfect. It was nearly an all-day event, and we were both exhausted at the end, but did he charge me more for the extra-care and time? No, but he definitely received a tip. Even though everyone had to wear masks the entire time, it was still a comfortable experience. The artists talk about being a family, and it feels like that, and I felt that they cared not just about doing a great tattoo and getting paid for it, but that I was happy. If I could give them zero stars, I would. I am FED UP with the way my friend and I were treated by this place. We have been here before and had no issue, but this time we made an appt with our artist and he didn't show up for it. Just wasn't there. The artist who was there basically said to come the next day for a walk-in or we could wait for her to finish her appt in a couple hours. We gave her our number and she never called us that night. So we came the next day and they acted like they didn't remember us at first, took my number AGAIN, said to come back at 2 after his appointment was over, we showed up at 2 and he said it would be another two hours. I asked if he could put us first because we HAD an appointment the day before that HE missed and he said no because this person placed a deposit. I should mention, he's NEVER asked me for a deposit for an appointment. COMPLETELY unprofessional and rude. I would not recommend this place. Go anywhere else. read more

I've been here 3 times now and have been tattooed by Marceau, Austin, and Hunter. All 3 did an amazing job and I always feel at home when I'm in the shop. Danielle is always super nice and there's always such a cool, laid back atmosphere. I can't wait to get many more tattoos here! read more

I love my tattoo and Hunter is a charm, however, my one star review is attributed to the rude and borderline harassing shop owner. My friend came into the shop with me to design the tattoo and take the lead since she's an artist and knows all about aesthetic. The owner came over to her and said "you are scaring me, stop controlling your friend". He came around a second time and harassed her about the shading of my tattoo in an extremely unpleasant and taunting way. Overall, the experience was super awkward and uncomfortable. Not to mention, I had a 7 o'clock appointment and didn't leave until 9. Overall, the tattoo and designer are awesome, but the shop owner was a total jerk. Beware not to bring your "controlling" friend with you to your appointment!! read more

Well. I may have misjudged on my first visit to this shop. It's true, events are stressful or maybe the staff was having an off day. While I still don't agree with some of the things that happened in my first experience, they did impress me the second time around. I went back yesterday and it was much calmer. The receptionist was pleasant and helpful. We built up quite a rapport over Lord of the Rings and I believe something about a decaying baby Dumbo. The artist and I didn't talk much, but his work was quick we did chat pleasantly a little. I'm pleased with my tattoo. Will I go back? Perhaps. Would I recommend this shop? Sure. read more
