Absolute rubbish
I went to the Bamber Bridge outlet a few weeks ago. I saw something I really liked and inquired about delivery for a nest of tables: I am a senior citizen and don't drive. This did not appear to be a good idea. Do they use a "man and his van"
So today I travelled the 3 miles or so by bus, intending to get a taxi home. It was throwing it down and I got drenched.
I couldn't get served as only one staff on the tills and a rather longish queue. So I again I wandered around and now found two staff chatting. I told them when they finally decided to speak to me that I wanted some tables, but not exactly sure which to choose.
I was shocked to be now told that I needed to order then and I can come back and collect the tables on Monday.
WHAT!!!!!!!!!
This was the first indication that I needed to do this.
I have checked the sites, there is no mention of ordering.
I was not told to order on my previous visit.
Image . . . walking into Tesco and doing your weekly shop, only to be told at the till that you cannot have some items and that they have to be ordered.
I have gone out of my way today to spend upwards of a couple of hundred pounds in their stores and walked out DISGUSTED.
They are not worth bothering with.
