Upstairs has tons of DVDs and CDs as well as other electrical items, clothes and toys. Downstairs is the food and drink as well as a great range of books and magazines. There's a deli section, too. There are usually special offers on all kinds of items, these are placed in prime viewing positions for anyone browsing. I recommend ASDA to any late-night shoppers. Though be warned, the tills shut down at 4am for ten or fifteen minutes, so you may be left standing around waiting for them if your timing is unfortunate.

This is a small supermarket with very little choice. They tend to have few items but lots of the…read moresame thing. The shop itself is a good size but the choice is appalling. Even simple things such as mixed herbs aren't in stock! The staff are miserable & not in the slightest bit interested in the customers but I suspect this is due to working conditions & general low staff morale. There is however a car park very close to the store which is free. I'm afraid this store needs more then a new name & a lick of paint to bring it up to any decent standard.

As a retail park location, it carries the benefit of having free parking right outside the store, which makes it easy to get your groceries and the rest of your shopping home. I was disappointed with the Cafe here, while I did enjoy the views of the car park (much nicer than it sounds!), the availability of menu items could have been better, I was told they wouldn't have cheese for the jacket potato after ordering, so I had to opt for just tuna instead. I don't understand how they could run out of something so basic, surely it would have made sense to get the cheese from their Food Hall area? I was disappointed with my jacket potato in general, I think they tried to overload it with tuna to make up for the lack of cheese, once I actually got to the potato, it was dry and unseasoned... I would have also preferred a side salad compared to slaw, as the slaw was hard and was a little dry/bland too... Disappointing. I was also a little disappointed with the selection in the Food Hall, a couple of items which I wanted to purchase were out of stock, I also picked up an apple juice drink which was open and I ended up spilling it on my hand, I get this could have just been a troublesome customer but after politely letting the staff know, they seemed disinterested. There are crates and crates of every kind of fruit and veg you can think of; the cherries looked particularily yummy today! And they had flat mushrooms on offer so I had to indulge...(mushrooms may be fungus but they taste darn good!) I always feel good about myself when I buy from places like this, it's very friendly and chatty in here, busy when I went in, rustic in character and a damn sight better than the big Tesco up the road!

Bananas, pineapples, cherries, apricots, peaches, apples, pears, oranges, broad beans, onions, tomatoes, lettuce. I could go on and on. They also have some beautiful plants on sale including pansies. Adam's Apples offer a really good service and if you can't get to the shop because you are too busy or don't live nearby - it's ok! They offer office and home delivery! Cool!
