Mine was a bit disappointing, as it merely had black, sliced, pizza olives on it (as well as tomatoes, lettuce, etc.) Just a few Kalamata olives would have dramatically elevated the salad. My friend's house salad looked far more flavorful, and he said that he enjoyed it. We split a personal-sized pizza, with individualized ingredients for us on each half. However, it took awhile for our pizza to arrive. Initially, somebody else's small pizza was accidentally delivered to our table, but our waitress caught the mistake and took it away. I would have eaten it, though. The ingredients used on our shared pizza were both flavorful and fresh: pepperoni, Italian sausage, mushrooms, and red onions. During their Friday early-dinner time, the establishment's atmosphere was very relaxed and pleasant. I liked how this out-of-the-way joint had a friendly, neighborhood vibe to it, and that it wasn't jam-packed with college students. I was impressed that live music began at about 6:00 pm. A guitarist/singer going by the name Madison Ellen (Mothershed) adeptly covered tunes from various musical eras. She even took song requests. Her voice had a very pleasant tone, and her guitar-playing was quite impressive. I look forward to buying her album when she releases it in a few months! Our waitress, Lindsay, was friendly, informative, and efficient. I would be pleased to sit in her section again. I liked how she was open to feedback about the food menu and bar offerings. (For instance, I suggested that they offer more than merely the inferior O'Doul's as their sole nonalcoholic beer selection.) Three-and-half stars, rounded up to four stars; mainly due to the nicely relaxing atmosphere, as well as the excellent live music without a cover charge. I recommend this eatery, and hope to return again soon in order to try more of their pizzas.
