I came because a friend told me about the snowball truck that has dairy free condensed milk! She mistakenly told me he had a nectar flavor so I had my heart set on that. I ended up with an ice cream flavor with dairy free condensed milk. The condensed milk was delicious! The syrup wasn't as sweet and flavorful as I like my snowballs to be. I would definitely go back to try a different flavor. He makes all of his syrups with natural ingredients and said he may try to figure out a nectar flavor. My biggest complaint and the reason for the less than stellar review was the garbage smell that permeated the area. I tried relocating to three different tables to escape it. I couldn't figure out where it was coming from. My best guess is a hidden dumpster somewhere. It was awful and hard for me to enjoy my food when there was a smell of garbage. Lots of space to sit, bathrooms and a bar area for drinks. There was also a live band playing music. It was a nice touch.

It's a one stop shop for your taste buds to travel Latin America- no passport or cash needed. They had food vendors from Mexico all the way to the Dominican Republic. We tried shakes from Honduras- we picked strawberry and guyabano. Both flavors were delicious and cooled us down. Next we got carne asada arepas from Colombia, the meat was seasoned so well and it was oozing with cheese. We played it safe and got tacos from the Mexican spot. They were delicious! The tortillas were freshly pressed and the meat was loaded. They also give you a red salsa and green. I wish we would've left room for dessert because there were some good looking dessert options. I found out about Food Truck Fridays in front of Canal Place not long ago via Instagram and this Friday, I saw that Dirty Dishes would be there. Since I had yet to try them, I figured why not! It was more of a brunchy lunchy fest so I was a total fan. I can eat breakfast any time of day. There were a few of their well-known specialties on the menu such as the dirty mac and cheese and BBQ shrimp and grits, but I wanted to try something a little sweeter. I originally wanted the Praline Chicken and Waffle Sandwich but they were all out! My next choice were the Hot Sausage Stuffed Waffles, which I am SO glad I chose. These were huge, soft Belgian waffles with crispy outsides and warm, spicy hot sausage-filled insides. A TOTAL flavor punch. The praline glaze was much like a light syrup that was just the right amount of sweet. The powdered sugar touch was a nice addition. Truthfully, all I needed on the side was a mimosa (or 3) to make this into the perfect brunch. The food options were creative and inventive, and absolutely AMAZING! I'm not quite sure how many menu options they typically offer, but for the wedding, they narrowed it to 3 selections very different in taste and everyone could find something (or everything) that appealed to their tastes. I also don't know if all their options are served over waffle, but the 3 we had were. We had; The MUNCH - smoked Gouda Mac and cheese with crawfish, turkey Tasso & BBQ pulled pork over a garlic buttered waffle. ( SOOO much flavor going on here!) The DIRTY FLORENTINE - creamed spinach with 5 blended cheeses with shrimp over a garlic buttered waffle. (My personal favorite- absolutely divine!!) The DIRTY WHODAT- praline pecan sauce over waffle. ( I had a bit of someone else's and if you like praline, you'll love this!)
