We needed someone who was experienced with flooring and painting and was willing to demo and haul away the (considerable) trash and debris. We feel like it was the best decision! Mr. Martin Wipf, the owner, is both highly skilled and experienced. We found him to be completely honest and fair. He is an excellent communicator and we always knew exactly where the project stood - even though we were often out of state. Additionally, Martin made some very good suggestions and recommendations regarding our project that afforded us an opportunity to add beneficial improvements and options to the remodel we would not have thought of or been aware of. We are thrilled with the finished project and can honestly say it exceeded our expectations in every way. There is nothing about the work Elevated Handyman did that we would change! initially contacted the owner geoff erben to build a 30x50 garage. geoff came in person, took…read moremeasurements, discussed process and agreed on price. after numerous phone and email correspondence moved forward. yellowstone barn and geoff required a 30% down payment. initially geoff was great about replying to permit requests, answering questions, etc. in july 2024 sent down payment to geoff at his laurel address. payment was made in good faith with geoff indicating he would have garage done in 3 weeks. i said perfect. this is where it all went south. once geoff made deposit of funds i was essentially ghosted. would not return calls, emails, texts. in mid august geoff called indicating he would be there essentially in 3 days. to the day of this post, i have no contact with geoff erben of yellowstone barn company. i have had to hire an attorney and seek civil damages to try and recoup my down payment loss plus mounting legal feel. do not trust this individual or company. if no stars were an option, i would have chosen it. be aware
