Every week for the last THREE WEEKS we've been told "It will be ready by the end of next week." Called today and demanded to speak to the sales manager as Mike refused to return our calls. Turns out they've done NOTHING on the rig. When we finally got Mike on the phone he started with his BS again. Save yourself the aggravation and go to Blue Compass RV instead. We'll be trading in the Coachmen and purchasing a new rig from them and so far they have been great to deal with!

We never had the opportunity to winterize our RV as it has been in their possession Oct-Feb, so far. We asked that they please take care of that before the temperatures dropped below freezing, while waiting for parts and manufacturer warranty approval. But no one would return our calls. We are still waiting for completion on repairs. Still, no one will return our calls as we would like updates in order to begin booking future outings with our RV. I have lost count of the unreturned calls. We have lost all respect and confidence with Campers Inn.

I was told about RV1, a new business a short distance from Charleston, SC, where the accident happened. I went there and told James, the service manager, what had happened. He personally climbed on top of the rig, disconnected the electric, removed the broken glass solar panel and it's bent frame. Not only was he so helpful and personable, he refused payment when I asked what I owed for his prompt and over-the-top (pun intended) service. Never had any issues…read more Sometimes the bill was a little pricey, but if you have a lot of experience owning an rv, you have to know to expect that sometimes. RV's are not cheap and require regular maintenance. I then purchased a slightly used Winnebago View class C from them. It had a few issues. They got them fixed right away. The main cabin door had some problems. They worked hard to get Winnebago to replace the door under warranty as the RV was pretty much new. They were able to get me a brand new door. They are cosiencious about their customers and they try hard. No RV repair shop is perfect, but they put in a lot of effort to please their customers. George is great, and Maddie in customer service is always professional, nice, and helpful. I would highly recommend Protech. And Paradise RV. These are good people who try hard.

Got it back month later. Called weekly, got the run around, it was almost offensive. One time I was told they were waiting on a really nice piece of trim coming in (by that they meant quarter round you can pick up at any hardware store). They replaced skylight glass saying it was damaged, didn't call first with a price (how do I know it was really damaged), didn't replace the shroud like I asked. Shop folks were not very professional. I thought I was going to spend decent money and get good service, I was wrong. Total bill was $2700, overall experience was not worth that and the picture shown is what was left behind (they did even clean up their mess). Like I say, disappointed.

He was quick to respond and assess our needs, order the parts and make the necessary repairs. He replaced all four brakes, drums and bearings, making it look easy. He also replaced our awning and everything was done in a timely and professional manner. We liked him so much that although we have left the State of South Carolina, we have contacted him for advice on another possible concern we have with our rig. He was very quick to return our call and talk to us. I woud definitely recommend his mobile RV services to anyone needing repairs or advice. DO NOT GO TO MAVIS! Ever since January I have gotten a full set of tires and an alignment front and…read moreback. Three of the tires the side wall blew out. On the alignment we took it back before the 90 days were up and it was back out of alignment. They said they fixed it and yet another tire blew out. The last time we had this blow out we requested an alignment check, never saw them put it up on the rack nor did we receive any paperwork but they claim they put it up yet we were out of there in 20minutes there's just no way. All they could recommend now is take the car to Chevrolet for an alignment if they can't do the job why am I paying for it time and time again!
