I stopped by today for a quick quote on two older gold bracelets I've owned for a while. I was really impressed with the knowledge and feedback from the manager ' John' on the current market pricing. He gave me a very fair price on those items. I ended up signing them away and using that as a down for a newer 14k bracelet that matched my necklace. I even ended up walking out with a nice mountain bike that I was looking for to ride around the boardwalk. Excellent customer service to say the least. My wife and I were researching gun sales on the internet and found GC Pawn. When we went inside we found it a very clean and organized business. GC Pawn had a large display of new handguns. Met Traveras who helped my wife find the perfect handgun. She told him she was interested in one of two guns. Traveras showed her both guns but she was still unsure on either. Once being told what she was looking for in a handgun Traveras recommended a third gun. Once being shown this gun my wife was sold on the third recommended handgun . Traveras was very helpful, polite and patient during the whole process. I definitely recommend GC Pawn. read more

My husband brought my ring in with two missing diamonds. They sent the ring out and when it came time to pick up the ring we couldn't believe it was the same one! Wow!! It looks brand new again!! Gold, Silver, Diamonds and high end watches are our favorite! If you need fast cash, let us show you who the real Pawn Starts are! Here's how it works: 1) Bring in an item of value to be reviewed by a pawnbroker. 2) Present a valid state or federal picture I.D. 3) Agree upon a loan value with the pawnbroker. 4) Sign and Fingerprint your loan contract. 5) Receive Your Cash! 6) Your item is safely packaged and stored for 30 days until you return. 7) After 30 days you can pick up your merchandise by paying back the principle (the amount loaned to you) plus the interest. A week later the wife picked it up ( in a plastic bag), no 'hidden clasp' they just opened the pendant enough for the chain to fit through. Caveat emptor with this family....

I've experienced jewelers in the past that have tried keeping the extra links or not mentioning at all after making modifications. I went in today to sign some paper work for my new Beretta 92FS. Big Chris provided an excellent service. He was polite, patient, well spoken, and very knowledgeable about the products and services at GC Pawn as well as the applicable Florida state laws revolving around the products. He did also inform me that he is not a lawyer nor is he giving me legal advice but did also educate me on the specifics of carrying a firearm in florida with and without a CCW. He also recommended a Gun Safe being as I have toddlers. He explained the different safes, features, and what he personally likes about one particular safe that includes a silicone wristband to assist in operating the safe. I would also like to add that he was respectable, charming, and easy to talk to. He did not come across as pushy at all but did convey a sense of urgency that was indeed applicable to my personal situation having kids and being concerned about safety. The couple that owns the shop however, is a totally different story. They are only friendly with some customers. If you don't look like them, you probably aren't getting the friendly treatment and you will be ignored for a while until eventually they have no choice other than address you. They want to sell everything at MSRP and complain about anyone looking for a good market price. They will literally scold you if something doesn't go their way. If at least they were truly nice to all customers and actually friendly and reasonable, then this last part would be no big deal, but they aren't so it doesn't help that they have a large warehouse, yet the customer section is a tiny ugly showroom that looks like it's run by a 90 year old that lost their will to keep an organized and well presented store front. To the owners, would it kill you to greet everyone when they come into your store? Almost every time I go, you ignore me. I have literally stood there for five minutes and you have to buzz everyone into that tiny front lobby. Sometimes when the place is empty you actually say hello, but even then you just ignore me and I actually buy stuff from you or at least I used to until got tired of everything stated above.

I submitted a Rolex watch through their online form and was contacted by someone named Taylor, who began texting me nonstop -- even on a Sunday -- urging me to bring the watch in. We scheduled an appointment, but when I arrived, he wasn't there. After a delay, he eventually showed up. When I asked him directly how much they were offering for the watch, he refused to give me a straight answer, only repeating that he wanted to buy it. It felt evasive and unprofessional -- classic high-pressure, bait-and-switch tactics. When I decided to leave, things took a disturbing turn. He refused to open the door. I had to raise my voice to demand that they let me out -- which is not only unacceptable, but also potentially illegal. This was a complete waste of time and an extremely uncomfortable experience. I will be reporting this business to the appropriate authorities and warning others: Do not trust this place.
