I pawned my necklace around 4 months ago, I ran into some health issues and fell behind financially. I am a single father so getting my necklace out of pawn was the last thing on my mind. When my pawn came due I was too embarrassed to even answer the phone and my necklace went into default. 30 days after that I received a text asking if everything was ok and if I would still like to pick up my property. I explained what happened and Josh told me not to worry and we looked at the calendar and established a date that wouldn't financially put me in a bind and would allow me to get back my necklace that has a lot of sentimental value. They say pawn shops are just crooks looking to take advantage of people that have fallen on hard times. I say that not only did they give me the little extra cash so that I could get by, but they also checked up on me and did their best to help me get my stuff back. Plus the interest rate they charge is one of the lowest I have ever seen or heard of. I originally found Boca Raton Pawn on Yelp after doing a keyword search. It came highly recommended by many others in our community. I contacted Seth from the store via Yelp and asked a few questions as I don't often visit pawn shops (read: never). He responded quickly and he put me at ease and assured me that Boca Raton Pawn was not a run-of-the-mill pawn shop and that I wouldn't feel uncomfortable there. And boy, was he was right. The shop was more like a boutique with beautiful designer handbags lining the wall and high-end jewelry sparkling everywhere you looked -- think Tiffany's. Seth was such a nice guy who was informative, trustworthy and fair. I was there to sell a couple quality pieces of jewelry as I had recently upgraded. He offered me more than another well-known local jeweler had for one of my items. The transaction was quick and easy. I didn't feel like I needed to haggle on price because I thought his pricing was fair. I felt SO comfortable at the store that I even got up to peruse while my husband continued to speak to Seth. And well, well...what did I see? I got my eye on a beautiful cocktail ring, a designer bag, a pair of diamond earrings...and who knows what else if given a little more time! Used the tradesy app to find this LV zippy wallet in denim. The wallet was in this store all the way in Florida. Very pleased with the item. Former LV sales associate left in 2007 and wasn't able to score this wallet. This wallet was in near perfect condition for being made in 2007. No storage smell, tears or fading! It's over 12yrs old and still in tact. Their advertisement on Tradesy was accurate, authentic. The packaging was very good too. It shipped from Florida to OC California in 2days. I don't mind buying pre loved LV items. It's a good way to find oldies but goodies. In this case it was in very condition for the price! Check them out. My g/f and I live in New Jersey and found a high-end Tiffany engagement ring on their site that she actually tried on in a Tiffany store approx. 2 months ago. The ring was an exact match as the one in the store but for 1/4 of the price. We both contacted them separately and they couldn't have been nicer throughout the process. Negotiating the final price with them was super easy and extremely fair to both sides. Checkout was a breeze. They re-sized the ring before shipping and we received it 2 days later. I was told that both my real Tiiffany & Co and Cartier Rings were not real. Both in the original boxes. The appraiser didn't like how they were stamped and rudely told me they see this all the time! See what! What are you insinuating? Are you profiling me? Needless to say I walked out in tears thinking I was given two fake items for wedding gifts. So I went to Tiffanys and they confirmed this was indeed real and the appraiser may not be familiar with their product. That made feel better but not excusable.To speak down to someone who comes in to your store is terrible. It's already hard enough to make the decision to sell, then be doubted of authenticity is uncivilized. This has ruined my day. Not your average pawn shop which isn't a bad thing but definitely not a good thing either. Upscale, with some pretty great "steals". I came here often and trusted them. I sold them a watch and many other luxury items. My last visit, I asked for a loan for my Tiffany diamond necklace and they gave me a reasonable one...reasonable at best. When it came time to get it back, the place was GONE. Empty. There were no signs. Absolutely nothing. I had to walk on over next door to the pet shop and ask if one of the employees there had any idea where these crooks were hiding. She gave me the address, figures they moved a couple miles down the street. SO, I go there. They had barely settled into their new location, there was nothing in the showroom and the guy goes "oh sorry, that's gone, we sold that." .........I was flabbergasted and the jewelry was very dear to me. A trusty business should notify their customers if they're moving or plan on moving. I will never step foot into Boca raton pawn again. read more

Beautiful selection of very high quality pieces, jewelry and watches. Excellent staff and knowledgeable about each piece. With other pawn shops further south, you get the feeling of despair in the collections offered, not so here in Boca Pawn as it feels like a retail experience with selection of high quality pieces, items I have seen in magazines or have come across with the elite of society. No pressure tactics by the staff, a listed price on each item, and a promise of a little discount on purchase. You come here to get what you pay for, and leave like you bought what you wanted. It doesn't appear that they have a jeweler on site that can size rings, or fix items, so if you need something done right away, it may be a bit tough, where as other shops have someone on hand to get it back to you quick. But this is not a quick shop, the staff is more than happy to spend an hour with you to make sure you get what you want and are happy with what you get. My only issue is that the prices appear to be closer to retail and not exactly what I would expect from a PAWN shop. read more

I've been a customer with BRP for 6 years Since late 2011. I have purchased, pawned, and sold. I always felt a sense of disregard, all five years. It wasn't until recently I brought in a brand new, designer hand bag, with the tags and receipt for about $1,000. Was never even used. I wanted to sell it. Danna didn't know my name - even after $10,000+ in business with her or Seth over five years. She was rude and pretentious. Her voice intonation was condescending. One would think, given the customer history, she would have been a bit more customer oriented. But she didn't even clear her desk - and the place was EMPTY! In short, no offer or haggling was made, I refuse to give BRP any more money. Avoid this place if you hold yourself to a higher standard.
