So once again, I needed a repair done on my wife's wedding ring and asked the owner Paul if he could fix the stone that was loose? He said, "sure we can repair that". Since I was going in for the repair, I thought I would bring along an old link necklace if mine that was sitting in a jewelry box for the past 20 years and see what Prestige Pawn on Indiantown rd in Jupiter would give me for it? To my surprise, I found out it was 14k gold, it was silver in color, so I didn't know? I was so happy with what I got for it, due to it being gold, I wanted to write this review. The weirdest experience ever was looking to purchase a nice watch, was greeted very rudely twice in the same week by the same balled heavy set white male very biased demeanor. I called the establishment earlier in the day on May 2nd, Paul said come so I came. I arrived at their store front 40 minutes before closing , and the same tall balled white heavy set male has a terrible attitude. Every time I step into this place, it feels like in entering a secret little treasure grove. I have been a customer for a while, my mother was a long time customer and we love this place. We have purchased many amazing items at very low prices. They do give you better deals if it is a cash purchase so bring cash. Be warned they are more closer to a jewelry store than a traditional pawn shop so if your looking for amazing jewelery they have it, if you are looking for tools not so much. I went in to try and sell a nice quality stereo system. The first thing that they told me was that since I'm a new customer, they were going to low ball me. I understand that they need to make their money but how are you ever going to get any new customers if you tell them that they are going to get a really low amount. I even lowered my asking price. They proceeded to find the lowest listed price on ebay and offered me an offensive amount. I will never do business with them unless you're a returning customer. Bad business. read more

I can not believe my experience!! My goal was to sell or replacement a loss diamond earring. This is an owner owned and operated business so the gentleman I was speaking with happened to be the owner. He sold me a loose diamond for what I know was half price. We decided to order a matching setting so that I would have a matching pair. He called me a few days later to let me know the setting I had in my original earring was no longer available and the one that came in did not match. It was much larger and better. He then informed me (without me asking any questions) he would be ordering a second setting and transferring my diamond. (so everything matched!) I almost ran off the road when he told me there was NO additional cost to me. As the setting was more than half my original bill. He sent me pictures just to OK everything. I ended up with two new settings basically a brand new pair of diamond earrings!!!! My cost never went up and service was unbelievable, from the moment I walked in the door it was an absolute wonderful environment. I honestly would not have walked into a "pawnshop", if I wasn't trying to replace a rouge diamond earring. I was shocked to see brand new Chanel bags, Tiffany vintage pens, and a the necklaces!!!
