I didn't curse at them or raise my voice or do anything to incite that, I was just trying to have a conversation and then the overweight Indian man behind the workbench literally started cursing me out. I don't know if they were having a horrible day or what but that is not how you treat your customers BEWARE all their google reviews are fake. They do bad business and are extremely rude. But upon inspection, the battery that was running in the watch had popped out of place. At first glance, it appeared that the battery would not stay in place. After a few minutes of fiddling with it, the very capable jeweler was able to seat the battery and get my watch running again. Now, time is l money and I wanted to pay for the fix of my watch. They would not accept a dime. This is the second time this has happened to me at Provident. Great customer service I would highly recommend Provident for all your jewelry needs.

This is the best place to have watch batteries changed for $10. Paul was there too, very friendly, down to earth trustworthy people. I really enjoyed doing business with them and had 3 cheapy watch batteries changed. Friendly when I called to get info, when I arrived, and when I returned to pickup. Watch batteries are a fast service, I just had to go grab lunch and come back so that option was best for me. They didn't act bizarre, force me to pay before I left or anything weird- could have, and it would have really slowed me down.

The worst of the worst! On July 15, 2020 I took two Tiffany bracelets into Angelo's of Palm Beach…read morefor Repair. They were left with Elizabeth of Angelo's who stated she would call me with repair costs. I received a phone call from Elizabeth about 10 days later and she stated the following: The heart shaped bracelet with 7 stones clasp was broken. Elizabeth of Angelo's informed me that the clasp would have to be replaced and I would receive a "credit" for the broken on. The open links bracelet would not close properly. Elizabeth stated this was a minor issue and there would be no charge. I went to pick up my bracelets on August 4. The heart shaped bracelet with 7 stones "new" clasp did not close tightly. I immediately brought that to Elizabeth's attention who stated "the gap is not big enough" to cause any concern. Then she went stated how the clasp had cost more than she had stated because the price of gold went up. I made it clear it was not acceptable. It appears the original clasp was simply repaired and not replaced as stated. I was told the replacement cost was $130.00. The open link bracelet still did not close properly. It actually was worse. Elizabeth than informed me the cost to repair would be $44.00. It was supposed to be no charge. At this point, I realized the merchant was not reputable and just wanted my bracelets and to get out of the store. I paid the $181.90 only in order to get my bracelets back. I made it clear to Elizabeth I was not a satisfied customer. She made no attempt to fix the problems. Within 4 days of wearing the 2 bracelets they both fell off my wrist at different times. Luckily, I was in my home and was able to retrieve them. Neither can be worn after the damage Angelo's did to them. If I could give this business a minus -10 I would. BEWARE and take your business elsewhere.
