I have always taken my car to Subaru dealership for service and this time decided to go outside the…read moredealership to have my front end assessed. Bruce Cox had good reviews so I brought my car in. I was told I had to replace my front passenger side axel, tie rods and front and rear differentials, transmission fluid service and a little more. I was called and notified of what was to be done, provided an estimate for the work and told my car was already on the lift and they could start now. Since bad weather was forecasted and I basically work out of my car I needed my car back asap and was worried about not fixing it and having to deal with driving in ice and snow. I approved them to do the work. I got my car back in two days and paid a fortune. my first concern was that the "diagnostic fee" wasnt applied to the overall work costs, It was in addition to. Not my normal experience but what could I do? they refused to discount the Dx fee. I paid and drove home. The following day of driving my car, the front end was vibrating so much and I had evidence of an oil leak on my driveway. So I took it back in. They told me nothing was wrong, showed me a video of the underside of my car and said there was no evidence of an oil leak. So I picked my car back up and within a few days the noise that brought me in the first place was back. In the meantime I contacted Subaru dealer had them assess what was going on and they reported the driver side axel was bad and needed replaced highlighting that the rear differentials were over filled and leaking, my transmission fluid still looked dirty despite the service I had done at Bruce Cox and the cost for fixing the driver side axel and tie rods at Subaru was 1/2 the cost!!!!! and the Dx fee was applied to the overall cost of the work done. I feel that I was financially taken advantage by Bruce Cox and despite the work they did having a "warranty" I don't trust taking back. Super unfortunate for my wallet and lost faith in them. Hard lesson learned.

When it came down to it though, they really did not want to do the work. The two options then became either a 7000$ rebuilt engine or a 12000$ new one. What's special about that? Paid the diagnostic charge which was perfectly fair and went elsewhere. Nice people, just that the special really does not exist.

My experience with Audi Bellingham was one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences I have ever had with a dealership. I reported serious concerns about my vehicle and instead of receiving professional help, I was sent back and forth and asked to repeatedly document issues myself. The process felt like a constant runaround rather than a genuine effort to resolve the problem. I interacted with Brittney, Travis, and Jack, and unfortunately the level of customer care was far below what anyone should expect from a brand that presents itself as "luxury." Communication was dismissive and unhelpful, and at no point did I feel that the dealership truly wanted to solve the issue. What was most disappointing was the lack of accountability. Instead of taking responsibility and working toward a solution, the situation was repeatedly delayed and pushed aside. After this experience I completely lost confidence in Audi and decided to move on. I ultimately purchased a brand-new Mercedes GLE, where the buying experience and customer treatment were professional and respectful -- exactly what I expected from a premium brand. Audi promotes itself as a luxury manufacturer, but my experience with Audi Bellingham's service and customer support was anything but luxury. I hope Audi of America takes customer feedback like this seriously and works to improve how loyal customers are treated when they need help.

With lots of used cars, dealers add mandatory fees like Lojack or paint finishes or whatever to get you to pay more. The advertised price is just a lure to get you in the door. My experience with Honda of Bellingham is that what you see is what you get, there were no random extra charges, no sneaky fees, no unnecessary hidden options. It was so refreshing and easy... Matt who helped me was polite and responsive. 5 Stars.

I was told quite definitely that the reason was that the grill had to come off, and that accounted for the cost of labor. I didn't feel good about that and mentioned it to a friend who does a little car maintenance for himself and he offered to take a look, We went to O'Reilly's for a replacement bulb and the woman behind the counter actually offered to have a look herself. I popped the hood, and my friend felt around an said, "I can feel the bulb." The woman suggested he remove the battery for more room to work and the task was completed in about fifteen minutes. Two questions occur to me: 1) Was Honda aware that such a quick and easy fix was available and simply attempting to take advantage of my ignorance? I hope not. 2) If not, why did these certified professionals not know such a quick fix was available, if my amateur friend went right to the root of the solution? I went in to discuss this, and received a polite hearing. To be fair, the service manager called me soon after and explained that they did not often work on Acuras and that by golly once they realized they they had such a quick and easy fix they would have done it gratis. I'm inclined to take his word for it, but am glad I did not have to.
