Absolutely delicious! We pre-booked our dinner reservation and were glad we did as the restaurant had a lovely hum. The team noted our special event and made us feel very welcome. We were sat in the front of the restaurant, at a gorgeous table facing the sea. We couldn't have asked for a better table!
Dinner was simply amazing. Lots of local fish represented on the menu, and it was mentioned several times that the chef is working closely with the local fishermen to get exactly what he wants. My lemon sole with garlic butter was absolutely beautiful, very light and refreshing but with a gorgeous kick to it. My friend's steak was cooked perfectly and she declared it, 'Possibly the best steak I've ever eaten.'
Although my friends went for a pudding (and they were most glamorous indeed!), I selected the cheese board option and had 3 choices. Unfortunately, the choices were a bit limited to 5 soft (goat/brie) and 3 cheddars. I would like to see a few more cheeses represented here but they were very tasty.
The only other comment I would make is that my friend had a lovely glass of wine in the bar and wanted to get the same bottle for dinner, but the restaurant has a different wine list than the bar. This is a bit confusing and I think an opportunity lost.
