Ms. Stephanie, the Director, was so welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about the children and families. Our daughter quickly felt right at home thanks to the incredible Ms. Christina. She was an absolute gem. In just a few short months, our little one made wonderful friends, established a great daily routine, learned a little Spanish, and had so much fun every single day. The teachers truly create a warm, nurturing environment where kids can learn, grow, and thrive. We are so grateful for the love and care they showed our family. The only reason we're leaving is because we're moving out of town. Otherwise, we would have happily stayed. I was surprised to meet a gentleman named Rene smiling and waiting for me. He was patting his chair for me to sit down. He spent time checking out my 5 colors and trying to blend them all together and then proceeded to color, cut,and style my hair. I felt so fortunate to find this Place after living in morgan hill for 5 years and never being very happy with a hair place. So much so, my child is already enrolled for the following school session! Before enrolling, I requested for a tour, and Jenny Tucker (who is the supervisor) offered her time and gave me and my girl a tour while the class was in session. This offered a clear representation of the classroom environment and the structure of the program. The classroom itself has a beautiful and encouraging atmosphere. Three of the walls are made up of floor to ceiling windows allowing brightness and openness to the room. Each corner of the room has a different setting such as a play kitchen, a dress up corner, a reading corner-all of which are spaces for your child's imagination to wander and thrive. Attached to the outside of the classroom is a fenced in play structure where the children are allotted a specific amount of time to get fresh air and allow their little bodies to be wild! They can enjoy sliding down the slide, climbing, bike riding, playing house; there are many activities to enjoy all while being carefully supervised. All in all, the Little Learners program was a great starting point for my (at the time of enrollment she was 3) 4 yr old daughter. The class offered a more play base, and socially encouraging platform, so I am confident that my maturing girl will be ready for her next phase of the program, "Kinder Learners". I am hoping with this next program there will be more of an academic challenge, as well as continuing the importance that learning is fun! He lights up when he sees the teachers, who all welcome him with huge hugs and they actually seem to love what they do (very different from CC) and they have so many toys and activities to keep him engaged. Action Day has introduced him to so much, from toys, to painting (I would never be brave enough to let a 5 month old to paint!) and they have helped us sleep train + introduce him to solids. MHPA is privately owned versus the many corporate ones in town that will, so the staff is more committed and loving. I live next to a couple of corporate pre-schools and they constantly yell at the kids and play Katy Perry during play time. MHPA is like comparing ACE Hardware with Home Depot (corporate daycare). MHPA is more affordable and higher quality, don't be fooled by the pamphlets and websites of the corporate ones. The play area of MHA has big beautiful trees, and MHPD often uses their parking lot scout for speeders on Monterey. And then they give the kids stickers through the fence. My son is leaving MHPA knowing all the planets (including dwarf), 50 states of America, countries of the world with flags, body organs. counting by 9, 11, and 10s, AND much, much more. Out of all of his cousins his age, at family parties my son is always the one who always gets the "OH WOW!, HE's SO SMART & AMAZING!" Thank you MHPA, thank you Ms. Jamie & team.
