I have to say that the people in the service department are very friendly. Kudos for Maureen and Paul. I gave Maureen a $200 tip for being so nice. Unfortunately, the quality of the repair work was horrible. On my first visit, while installing a new hood lift on one of my Sea Doos, the repair person broke the hood and blamed it on the skis being old. I had to buy another hood (at my cost) and then pay them another $220 to install it. I would have though that it would have been a good gesture just to install the replacement hood at no cost. They also did not hook up the low oil indicators after putting in new oil reservoirs. I spent over $2,000 on the first repair and could not even use them. On my second visit, they did not make repairs that were supposed to be made. Plus, they left off parts that should have been put back on. And they did not repair items that were clearly indicated on the service ticket. The second ticket was about $550. It's pretty obvious that no one was checking the work that was (or shall I say was not) performed. I spoke to the service manager, Matt. He was very pleasant and understanding on the phone. He even offered to include two hours of free labor on my next repair, should I decide to bring them back. The hourly rate for repair is $110 per hour. I doubt, just based on the age of the repair tech, that he is making much more than $10-$15 per hour. That's a pretty good markup. I hate being a downer. But, I think people should be aware. Maybe the other service people at Gator Powersports are better. But the one who worked on my two Sea Doos was not the best, and was clearly not very well supervised. read more

Gator Powersports has the best service and maintenance professionals I have ever seen in the four years of being in this industry. I own a jetski rental company in New Orleans and I will happily drive to the northshore rather than deal with any other company out there. If you are looking to purchase or service any jetski or four wheeler I would recommend you do not go anywhere else. It would be a mistake. Period. read more

Dealer only wants your money! Zero customer service. Bought two brand new Seadoos here took in for service which was supposed to be a week week and a half. 2 and a half weeks later get a call they are done, no updates no follow up. Go to pick up and service was not even completed!!! They could care less about making customers happy or even a pleasant experience. Sent several friends here and now I regret that as well. Spend your money somewhere else where it's more appreciated and you are more important! Don't trust this dealer. Not a Platinum dealer. read more

Brought my 15hp Yamaha outboard to be repaired. Carburetor and fuel pump was rebuilt. Picked it up after repairs and motor still running terrible. Returned it same day. Main problem was that carburetor spacer was installed incorrectly by technician. Was charged again for rebuilding carb. Was told that spacer was in that position when I brought it in, so instead of putting it back correctly, they returned it like they found it. Talked to owner and he informed me that is their store policy. So if you bring equipment to them and any part is in the wrong position don't expect them to follow schematics or knowledge. It will result in double work and a double charge!!!! read more
