This is a good and honest place. Roger and George really know what they're doing. If you need to…read moreorder a part, ask Roger to do it for you. He might even have it in stock. His prices make it clear what an absolute rip-off some other places in Gainesville are. Call him up if you need a tune-up or anything, and he'll tell you when he can fit you in. If it's a reasonably small job, he can do it while you stand there and wait. Roger also handles scooter repairs. He doesn't turn up his nose at them (unless your scooter is trash, I guess). The shop is tiny and it doesn't look like much, but the quality of the work will make you feel good. George is without a doubt one of the best bike mechanics in this part of the state. If you're driving north on Sixth Street, keep your eye on the right-hand side of the street after you cross 39th Avenue, or you'll miss the shop. It's set back in an old shopping strip that looks almost abandoned.

You are the Wiener The Correct answer is B-E This place is the worst and his lies are worsor - (Not Correct, I know). I took my bike to him with a problem and he stated the "Other Shop" overcharged me and he could fix the problem for $125.00 or he would not charge me anything. Well he worked on carb jets and charged me $225.00. The Jets had absolutely NOTHING to do with problem and I NEVER authorized him to perform any work on my bike and even further, what happened to the "I wont charge you if I can't get it running for $125.00 or less" My bike has now been in his shop for over 5 months and each time I call he has a new excuse. "I've been busy, I can't get good help, I'm going to take out the motor and check for the problem, I'll call you back soon" All these excuses and my bike has yet to be fixed. I called today and was told "I took the motor out and going to look at it" I told him I want to pick it up and take it elsewhere and he stated "I'm going to look at it and let you know" I suspect it'll be 5 more months if I don't actively engage this guy to get my bike back and on the road before summer is gone. I am thinking of small claims court on his unauthorized work on my bike.

His name is Robert, but in my Contacts he is listed as "Robert Best Scooter Repair". This is…read morebecause in my almost 2 years of owning a scooter Robert has been least costly at repairing, more reliable in providing timely service, and more knowledgable about scooters than any of the other 3 other scooter repair services I used to use. About 1 year ago, water entered my tank and I called my then "usual" guy to come fix it. He told me it would cost $50 and there would be additional charges to transport my scooter from its location. I called other big name scooter places and they wanted even more and could only have it fixed by the end of the week. I was frustrated because I knew that draining the water on a scooter was not the worst or most time intensive of damages. That day I got lucky. I found Affordable Scooter Repair's number and Robert told me he would be over within the hour. He came to my location drained the water (while explaining the whole process and how I could do it myself). He charged me $45 and was off. Time went on and eventually I wanted premium tires on my scooter. I called the usual gambit of numbers and was quoted prices far exceeding the cost of the tires plus reasonable charge for labor. Not only did Robert give me the lowest quote, he also told me a trick about using different sized tires to create further stability. Again, he charged me the least for the whole process and was able to complete the task within a couple days. Overall, Robert and Affordable Scooter Repair have proved to be more affordable, more reliable, and more professional than anything I have experienced in Gainesville. I would highly recommend to anyone who needs a scooter repair in Gainesville. Affordable Scooter Repair and Robert have my current and future business.

I made multiple calls, sent multiple texts w/ pictures. Each time he responded with advice of how to fix it and walked me through the process. He never requested payment yet said if I needed to bring the scooter in, he would fix it at a minimal charge. I sent him something anyway 'cause you can't put a price on that kind of A+ service.
