Corey was excellent. He was prompt, profesional, and a fair price. Had my daughters scooter repaired in less than 24 hours.

Poor Communication, Unprofessional Behavior, and Unnecessary Panic…read more It took me over a year to get an appointment at this shop, as it seems to be the only local option for older sport bike repairs. The owner, Roland, is rough around the edges and lacks basic customer service skills -- but I initially gave him the benefit of the doubt, assuming he was simply busy. I had my Kawasaki ZX9 towed in for front brake and caliper repairs. I specifically asked for a quote before any work began, but instead of calling me, I had to chase him for the numbers each time. The total ended up being $1,300, which I paid in person since I couldn't pick up the bike myself due to knee surgery. I arranged for a tow company to retrieve it, gave Roland their details, and provided the pickup time. After the tow company left with my bike, Roland called to say they had used a wrecker and "didn't know what they were doing," making it sound like my bike was likely damaged. This caused me unnecessary panic -- especially since he never called me before the bike was moved. When I asked why he didn't call earlier if he was so concerned, he got angry and hung up on me. When the bike arrived, it was in perfect condition. His alarming phone call was completely unwarranted, and the stress he caused was unnecessary. While I can't yet speak to the quality of his repair work, I can say that his attitude, lack of professionalism, and poor communication were enough for me to decide I won't return. In the future, I'll tow my bike to Orlando or Tampa, where I've received skilled service and respectful treatment.

This is a good and honest place. Roger and George really know what they're doing. If you need to…read moreorder a part, ask Roger to do it for you. He might even have it in stock. His prices make it clear what an absolute rip-off some other places in Gainesville are. Call him up if you need a tune-up or anything, and he'll tell you when he can fit you in. If it's a reasonably small job, he can do it while you stand there and wait. Roger also handles scooter repairs. He doesn't turn up his nose at them (unless your scooter is trash, I guess). The shop is tiny and it doesn't look like much, but the quality of the work will make you feel good. George is without a doubt one of the best bike mechanics in this part of the state. If you're driving north on Sixth Street, keep your eye on the right-hand side of the street after you cross 39th Avenue, or you'll miss the shop. It's set back in an old shopping strip that looks almost abandoned.

You are the Wiener The Correct answer is B-E This place is the worst and his lies are worsor - (Not Correct, I know). I took my bike to him with a problem and he stated the "Other Shop" overcharged me and he could fix the problem for $125.00 or he would not charge me anything. Well he worked on carb jets and charged me $225.00. The Jets had absolutely NOTHING to do with problem and I NEVER authorized him to perform any work on my bike and even further, what happened to the "I wont charge you if I can't get it running for $125.00 or less" My bike has now been in his shop for over 5 months and each time I call he has a new excuse. "I've been busy, I can't get good help, I'm going to take out the motor and check for the problem, I'll call you back soon" All these excuses and my bike has yet to be fixed. I called today and was told "I took the motor out and going to look at it" I told him I want to pick it up and take it elsewhere and he stated "I'm going to look at it and let you know" I suspect it'll be 5 more months if I don't actively engage this guy to get my bike back and on the road before summer is gone. I am thinking of small claims court on his unauthorized work on my bike.
