Dubai Strawberry cup with ice cream

100000/10 Yes just yes I am beyond thrilled to have this place by us now! We will be back, in fact, we can't stay away!!

Best thing about this place is travis! Dude is amazing! Had a house full of ppl yet he still treated everyone like it was their first visit. The smell was great! And the food was delicious

Gators has the most unique ice cream in Jax! We've tried Ube, Strawberry Dubai, Mango/Coconut sticky rice and the black sesame all AMAZING. Cone or Cup is large based on size, service is always friendly and quick and the ambiance is so cute with paper lanterns, ice cream cones etc. Only few tables inside for seating, but also a spot outside.

My family loves ice cream and we are usually game to try new places. We were on this side of town and thought we'd give gator a try. This place was GREAT! Some very unique flavors. Japanese cheesecake ice cream, ube cheesecake, avocado, taro, and much much more. We tried several but the ube cheesecake was incredible! Smooth rich and delicious. The service was friendly and kind. A little slow but it's ice cream, you should never be in a hurry at an ice cream shop. The shop is small but there is seating inside. The decorations are great and there is a game in the corner that is great entertainment for the children. I'll be back to gators.

This is a cute, clean ice cream place with a very diverse menu. The staff is very friendly and service was great. Unfortunately, they were sold out of their Dubai brownies so I settled on caramel crunch ice cream. It was delicious. They have a lot of flavors and many dairy free options. The waffle cone cookies are great. Many of the sundaes and treats are huge and definitely made for sharing. They do offer a "pup cup" if you bring your fur baby. Great addition to the neighborhood.

Finally tracked down the Dubai Pistachio Ice Cream and let's just say, this is pretty damn delicious. Pistachio Ice cream, kunafa crunch, and silky chocolate. It was perfect in every way. If you're in Lakewood, do yourself a favor.

I've always wanted to try Gator Ice cream but never made it out to their beach area location. I had banana cream pie ice cream. It had delicious flavor and consistency and lots of wafers and bananas mixed in. It was clear to see why people rave about it. Quality ingredients, tons of unique flavors and combinations. They are most famous for their Dubai Chocolate cup which I haven't tried. The location is convenient off of San Jose Blvd. I sat and talked with the gentleman who is friends with the owner and he was so kind and welcoming.

A tasty addition to this area! Audrey greeted us with a smile and enthusiastically answered all our questions. So many dairy free options, more than I've ever seen in any other creameries in town. The Ube Oreo and mango DF were delicious. Not icy or lacking flavor at all. My husband loved the Viet iced coffee and Jackfruit. Our son loved his chocolate ice cream too. Even his puppy give Gator Ice Cream two thumbs up!

All right, let me just start off by saying I don't do not know who this worker is. I may returning customer at this establishment of a business. It is amazing when I order. They usually go back straight away and begin working on my order but this time she's giving out free samples multiple times to the same people I had to wait five minutes for her to even begin on my order. This is just unacceptable for this new worker and she needs to know the criteria for next time.

Fabulous. Amazing. Tasty. Everything about Gator Ice Cream was a treat. It's a small shop in a mostly quiet stripmall, but as soon as you walk in you're greeted by bright lights, a cheerful host, and so many fun options. All your favorite flavors and exotic if you're looking to try something new. We'll back sooner than later, and I'm looking forward to trying their triple chocolate brownie sundae and waffle bowl.

Travis is a nice dude. He gave me three taste tests and I settled on the regular cookie butter ice cream, which is the first time I've ever had it. We found you on google. It was our first time here. Travis did well, despite the long line. Outstanding service. The ambiance is eclectic with few tables inside and some outside.

Vietnamese coffee in a gluten-free cone

I saw this ice cream store out of the corner of my eye driving on San Jose and I could not have been more pleased. The ice cream was incredible and they even had a gluten-free waffle cone. Great service so friendly. I will definitely stop in again.

The shop was completely empty when we arrived, so there was no reason for us to feel rushed. However, the employee hurried us through placing our orders. One person in our group was in the restroom and hadn't had a chance to decide what they wanted yet, and the employee was very short and impatient with us. When we asked to sample one of the ice cream flavors, she simply responded, "Okay," and came across as unfriendly and annoyed. While we were ordering, another customer came in, and we noticed the employee spoke to them with the same impatient attitude, so it didn't seem like it was just our group. The biggest issue came when the last person in our group ordered a sorbet. It was frozen so solid that it was impossible to scoop or eat. We let the employee know, and she said she would "soften it," which apparently meant microwaving it. She brought it back, but it was still hard as a rock and still wasn't edible. Unfortunately, the customer service overshadowed the visit. A friendly attitude and serving products that are ready to eat go a long way. We hope this location improves both its service and the quality of the experience for future customers.

The staff were friendly, informative, and genuinely seemed to enjoy being there, which made a big difference in the atmosphere. The pricing can be a bit confusing. Some items had small signs nearby that we had to search for, others were labeled directly on the items, and a few weren't priced at all. The lollipop class was both informative and enjoyable. The instructor was fantastic with the younger ones and still managed to keep the attention of the teenagers. You could tell he was experienced in speaking to a crowd and skilled at condensing a lot of information into something easy to follow. We got to watch him make a lollipop completely from scratch, from pouring the boiling sugar onto the table to mixing and twisting the colors into a swirl for us to shape ourselves. The second visit was for a chocolate bar making class. We had the same instructor, which was great, and this time he had another candy maker helping because there were almost twice as many people. Together they managed a very excited group of children beautifully. I went on a similar field trip here about two years ago, where instead of making the bars ourselves, we filled out little menu cards choosing our toppings and type of chocolate, and the staff made them for us while we went on a tour. Personally, I preferred that setup. This time, the toppings were left completely up to the kids, which led to a few of them putting their hands in the bowls instead of using the spoons provided. I understand that isn't Sweet Pete's fault and falls more on the parents' supervision, but it did affect the overall experience for me. Overall, Sweet Pete's continues to be a great destination for both education and fun. For a more educational and hands-on experience, I recommend the lollipop class. For a more kid-focused activity, the chocolate bar class is a hit."

It felt like a lot of Indians with no clear chief. The tour starts in the chocolate room, gotta love that! Chocolate covered chips, cookies, marshmallows and fudge all around. The restaurant was filled with dirty tables, the bar was in disarray. The food portions looked small however at least it kept coming out! The owners family has been in the candy business for years and he still works there everyday, that's awesome! :)) I'm glad we checked it out. Thank you Sweet Petes! You can trust me, I am a candy eating American. ;D

The store is located in the Saint Marks business plaza that looks like an industrial strip mall unfortunately. But they're right next to Jack's ballet school and Twisted all Pro terrain businesses. They have everything you could possibly imagine they had I believe at least four soft serve machine machines so they can deal with large crowds quickly. The place is the cutest little space with old pictures and string lights. The menu is pretty extensive too. I came here for the vegan chef challenge and ordered the Oreo ice cream sandwich (with sprinkles). The lady that took my order was so sweet and we chatted a bit after she asked if I came here specifically for the vegan menu. The ice cream sandwich came out pretty quickly and the portion size was HUGE. I was expecting it to be half the size it was. The sandwich was absolutely delicious & the sprinkles added a bit of texture to the Oreo cookie that was on the softer size and the vanilla ice cream filling. So many people were not aware of this being on the menu this month until they saw my order & wanted to try it for next time.
