I expected to learn skills not be in a room with a bunch of kids playing with dolls. It was a waste of money.

I worked in afterschool at SWDC for nearly 3 years while going to nursing school about 18 years ago…read moreand it was an excellent place to work. I always felt like I was respected (even though I was young), supported, and given the supplies needed to teach the kids. The parents were awesome and til this day, I have a relationship with the now adult kids and their parents because of the environment and bond built within Small World Daycare. My daughter has been a child at the daycare since she was 6 weeks old! If I had to do it over again, I WOULDN'T CHANGE A THING! My daughter was ready from day 1 to start kindergarten. Ms. Heather teaches the kids Spanish, which still today she comes home trying to quiz me‍ and I love how the other teachers get involved in science (collecting bugs, frogs, growing beans), and helping the children with easy to do cooking activities! Speaking firsthand, it's been great for me and my child. No place is perfect, but if there is a problem, the front office staff is always willing to talk to ensure you have an understanding and get to a resolution.

He has been with them since he was about 3 months old. And he is now 5 years old and in the VPK program. He absolutely loves all the students and teachers. And knows all their names and enjoys every second of every day he goes. He likes getting up in the mornings and going to see and learn with his friends. Any time anything has happened with Zachary, accidents or even a minor bumped knee, they have always kept me very well informed!! I would recommend Small World Daycare and Learning Center to anyone whoever asked my opinion on daycare and learning centers!!

This school has no core values. I had 3 semesters to go to finish. During Pharmacology I was told…read moreby instructor West she "didn't have time to review my exam with me one on one". I dropped Pharmacology and was never reimbursed. I'm still disputing this with AES. I since took a full time job at HCA as phlebotomist. I see my classmates still struggling and failing. Now I hear Fortis tried to make them sign a "non-disclosure" about the school. What a joke. Fortis lost the contract HCA Orange Park and now forcing students to travel ridiculous lengths for clinicals. I speak to nursing students daily that attend other colleges. Fortis teaches the curriculum out of order. Example: scheduling Health Assessment before Fundamentals. Why are we learning how to hear lung sounds in Health Assessment before learning how to use a stethoscope in Fundamentals. Why are you teaching what drugs do in Pharmacology before learning the disease process in Med Surg? These classes should be taught in sync. The HESI entrance exam designed so everyone gets accepted. But has no science questions which is why Fortis includes frequent HESI exams as part of the curriculum. Fortis has to show every student passed the HESI before graduation. I could go on and on but am pursuing my degree with another college. Even though I had to retake some classes it's worth it. Core Values: none of the below Integrity, Student Focused Outcomes, Commitment, Service Excellence, Respect

Meh. Hindsight is 20/20. If I could I would choose a different school for LPN I would. I believe…read moresince the program is new there are a lot of kinks with it. It's a small school so it's a struggle to get time to practice as an LPN. They have more RN students. I'll write more once I graduate- if I graduate. The school hasn't graduated any LPNs yet since the program is so new.

Five great years... two degrees for my son and I got to re-live my college days. As I drove up for…read moregraduation, all I could think of was how special the last few years were. It's Great to be a Florida Gator! The school has so much to offer. Not only a top education but so much more and a spirit that only a few schools have. The campus itself is absolutely beautiful with rolling hills and trees. You really feel as if you've stepped out of Florida when you're here. On top of world-class academics offering so many opportunities to it's students, there are great sports... some of the best SEC teams in the nation. A Division Champion Basketball team, great football, baseball, gymnastics, just to name a few. "Gator Nation" is known for its strong sense of community, loyalty, enthusiasm, and pride. Once a Gator... always a Gator and it's a pride that will stay with you forever.

Have nothing but great things to say! This was easily the best BLS class I've ever attended. Clay…read moreis the best! Very personable, funny, and makes the class much more enjoyable. Highly recommend and I will be back in 2 years!

I came to Gator CPR for their CNA course, and it completely surpassed my expectations! The course…read morewas taught by Skylar, who was incredibly kind, professional, and clearly experienced. She made learning the clinical skills for the exam straightforward and stress-free. The course included an online module for the written portion, which made it super convenient to study at my own pace, and we were also given a workbook to help prepare for the hands-on portion. One of the best parts of the program is the open lab sessions--they allow you to return and practice clinical skills with an instructor's supervision, which will be a huge help in building my confidence before the exam. I was so impressed that I came back for my BLS certification, which was taught by the owner, Clay. Clay was amazing--experienced, kind, professional, and genuinely hilarious. He made the material easy to understand, and the class flew by. In past CPR courses I've taken elsewhere, I usually left confused or unsure about certain parts. Clay made sure everything was crystal clear and took the time to answer everyone's questions thoroughly. I honestly wish Gator CPR offered even more certifications like LPN training--I would absolutely come back for those too. Highly recommend Gator CPR to anyone looking for quality training in a supportive and engaging environment!
