She hired a personal wedding planner to help make her dreams come to life and it was beautiful. HOWEVER, let me just say my bride showed incredible compassion and grace day of because if this had been MY day I would be getting my money back. The staff of the barn was disorganized and SO rude. They made comments about the bride and her family as well as the groom and her family TO GUESTS at the wedding. They were also exhibiting the same behavior to an entire wedding group the day BEFORE the wedding. I know some of the other vendors who were staffed at my brides wedding personally and they even said that the coordinator is rude and hard to work with and that's it their least favorite venue to work with. The unprofessionalism of this woman ALONE would lead me to NEVER recommend this venue to another person or family who is looking to host one of the most sacred and special ceremonies of their lives. Like I said my bride had a wonderful time because she didn't let it ruin her day but I would NEVER wish that experience on some one else. Your wedding day should be all about you and you shouldn't have to worry about a grown woman exhibiting such immature and UNPROFESSIONAL behavior.

It was decorated in a Butterfly theme. The tables and chairs and tablecloths were beautiful. It is air conditioned and quite roomy. The food was terrific. We had some appetizers, Ice Tea, Coffee, and A Gorgeous Cake ( 4 layer ) and a Ice Cream Sundae bar. Everyone, including my Mother in Law was thrilled with the place. Tom Terrific here with another honest business review…read more My brother heard about this place and was aching to go there. He has his own Jumbo pinball machine in his home and he's really into it. So am I, so we stopped in a few days after Christmas. Admission on that Sunday was $20 per person. I was stunned by how many people were there. Male and a surprising number of females. Whole families with little kids were having a blast. It's a huge place with many hundreds of machines, most of which are pinball. They have gun shooting machines, the pac man type machines and my favorite the baseball games where this flapper rises up and a pinball shoots out and you whack it with the bat using your flipper control. My favorite pinball was the Twilight Zone. It gave me lots of time to bang that ball around and it had all the bells, whistles and lights I love. Many times in the 2 and a half hours we were there I'd just go from one machine to the next one all down the line. What fun! The men's restroom was medium size, easy to find in the rear and clean. I was surprised to find that they have a great concession court. It had lots of tables, chairs and napkins. There was a TV showing football. The biggest surprise was the quality of the food. My $3.50 hot dog was all beef on a fresh bun and there were all the condiments, even relish in packets. The food staff wore latex gloves and all of them were neat, clean and wholesome looking. I refuse to eat at any place that hires people with what we in Tampa call snot rings that go into their septum and hang down to their lips. UGH. Get the hell out of here. Not for me. Very unsanitary. I complimented the staff on their food and they thanked me. I noticed that they had quantity control. The french fries were made to order and they came out of a small sandwich bag that I assume was weighed for a consistent number of fries. You don't see that everywhere. I checked the counters and the floor of the kitchen and the entire place - it was clean and the floors appeared freshly mopped. A+ Past Times also had decorations and photos on the walls and my brother knew who the old men were that were depicted there. The walls honored the pioneers of pinball, a very appropriate thing to do. The entire staff and management was very kind as we asked questions and I got my picture taken with the white board stating I was Tom Terrific from Tampa, Florida. My brother said there may be only one pinball arcade that was larger and it resides in Los Angeles. I loved Past Times and it seems like so did all the other people. I highly recommend it for a date, a great family night out or even as a solo venture. Open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Past Times - 5 Stars !

The fish sandwiches are absolutely delicious (and huge)!! I have NEVER been a fan of fish sandwiches in general (I'm in my 40s), but if they always tasted like this then I'd eat them A LOT! This sandwich is perfectly crispy, not greasy, with a light and flaky fish that has good flavor without an overbearing fish flavor or aftertaste. And boy is the tartar sauce they provide an absolutely perfect complement to the sandwich. Again, all of the tartar sauces I've tried over the years have never appealed to me. Not this one though! I use the entire container of tartar sauce they provide - it has wonderful creamy slightly sweet and slightly tangy flavor that complements the fish perfectly! My wife agrees that both the fish and tartar sauce are the best we've had from a fish fry. (And my wife LOVES Lenten fish fries so she has waaaayyy more experience with trying different fish sandwiches) Sandwich w/ one side = $13 (or w/ 2 sides = $16), which I think is a heck of a deal given the size and quality of what is provided. (I've provided pictures) The sides supposedly vary from week to week, but in the 3 weeks we've ordered from their menu, we believe the sides were always the same. Mac & cheese, chips, apple sauce, pirogies, and coleslaw. All of their sides are fresh and delicious so you can't go wrong (note: the coleslaw is like Primanti's coleslaw (if you're a Pittsburgher), which is vinegar-based). We've always ordered takeout online using the web portal they provide. You can pay online and schedule your pickup. Pickup was easy and the staff was friendly, and to top things off, they package everything in an easy to transport box. I highly recommend and frankly can't believe how awesome the food and takeout experience is here! Whoever operates this is a genius! They thought of and do everything perfectly! This place is the very definition of a hidden gem!

As the mother of the groom, it appears I was left out of some pertinent information and with this being said, I will send my kudos to the event planners at the station, thank you for your smile, support, quick thinking, and hard work! They had my back and didn't even miss a beat! Nor did it matter if it was me, or anyone else on site, they handling things like a well-oiled machine. I can't be more pleased with the turn out and the follow up. Even after the event Leanne took care of me, and that meant the world to me. Not to mention, the place is beautiful, starting with the environment, the nostalgia the place exuded and the mystery the place as a whole held right down to the very near live train going by. Make sure you tell your guests to take a walk down memory lane, and explore the restored historic site, it is just exquisite. Even with the bumps that the guests nearly noticed, we all had a marvelous time. Thank you again!

The venue is an old train station that has been transformed into a BEAUTIFUL museum and event center! Leanne and her staff made everything with planning so easy, she provided us with so many suggestions for awesome vendors and helped coordinate everything so that our day went flawlessly! It rained on our wedding day (but it's supposed to be good luck!!) and we were supposed to have an outdoor ceremony, I was freaking out but they were able to quickly change our plans for us to an indoor ceremony and everything turned out amazing!! I couldn't have asked for a better day and a huge part of that was thanks to the amazing team that they have there. If you're planning an event in beaver county I definitely recommend checking them out!!
