    Farmhouse pool

We enjoyed 5 days of serenity and peace at the Farmhouse. Beautiful historic accommodations with 4 bedrooms and 3 baths, plus a bonus full bath outside by the pool. Just a few blocks to HEB and Main St. just a wee bit further. Besides enjoying the incredible backyard, we used our location for day trips to the LBJ ranch, a comprehensive wine tour and strolling down Main St. As well, Enchanted Rock was just 20 minutes away. Bonus: Uber/Lyft rides are easy, plentiful and cheap. Takes the stress out of searching for parking downtown.

My husband and I celebrated our 19th anniversary at The Pumphouse last week. The Gathering cottages were highly recommended by friends who had stayed in multiple cottages and we were pleased to experience this gem in Fredericksburg for ourselves. We loved the contactless experience- from start to finish, everything was done virtually via the website, email and text. Perfect for these crazy covid times. We were impressed with the level of attention to detail- our cottage was Pumphouse themed and everything we needed was ready to go. The place was pristine and there was local coffee included and a started log for the fire pit area. The private outdoor area with a hammock, outdoor shower, fire pit area, tv and hot tub was just perfection. One of our favorite things was the comfortable bed- we loved the luxurious sheets so much I contacted the owners and they were kind enough to share the brand and help me with purchasing our very own set. Highly recommend- unique cottages for any couple or family or group of friends.

We stayed in the "pump house" on this property this past weekend. I cannot imagine a better place to spend a weekend . Even the smallest details were perfect. This B & B is convenient to town but not too close the weekend busyness. We will be back !!!

My boys (ages 12 and 9) loved the cabin's loft, having a campfire both nights, and "just everything Mom." After several days in hotels (nice ones too) we were pleasantly surprised at how clean and well-furnished the cabin was and how wonderful the owner Beverly was. Guests are free to come and go as they please and there is no lengthy check-in process, which is really nice after nearly a week. We felt at home immediately and have shared many pictures with friends and family, who were impressed. We seem to accidentally be making Texas road trips our Spring Break tradition, so it seems we will also be making Agarita Creek Farms our tradition as well! UPDATED REVIEW: March 2020... Still in love with this place! The bathtub in the larger cabin is possibly my corner of heaven on earth! Thank you Beverly! You are fantastic!

The cabins felt secluded and still were a short walk from the barn. The owner is kind and created opportunities for us to feed the animals. The wildlife we saw ranged from sheep to horses to a llama (just off the property). A great location for families . We loved it! Thank you for the great stay

Since it was Easter weekend and we were booking only 3 days in advance, we ended up booking one of the cabins for our weekend getaway. We were definitely happy with our choice. It was a good 7 miles from Main Street Fredericksburg which wasn't too long of a drive from town. However, it was definitely off the beaten path. You'll wind through some country roads before you hit a gate with an access code for the 4 cabins. The grounds were well maintained and the four cabins formed a little community in the gated area. We stayed in "Mercy" which was one of the middle cabins - there was a designated parking spot for each cabin and wooden walkways leading up to the cabin. The cabins were made completely of wood, including the kitchen island and the bar stools made to look like wine barrels. The rocking chairs on the porch and the wine barrel table was a nice touch. The cabins all contain a little living area with a small love seat, a TV, and a small kitchen complete with an island, microwave, sink and refrigerator. It comes furnished with a set of plates and silverware - enough for 2 people. The owners left us cookies and a nice little welcome note, which was a nice touch. The cabin each contained a king size bed and a bathroom with a spacious standing shower. The beds were a little uncomfortable, as were the pillows, but the sheets were soft. There are ceiling fans in both rooms (living and bedroom) and a small A/C unit, which we set to 68 at night but wasn't very cold. The water was also warm but didn't get very hot. The cabins provided towels and shampoo, body wash and conditioner. Overall, it was a nice space for a romantic getaway for 2. There is a shared patio space in the middle with a tiny bbq grill, like the ones you see at a state park, and a round table set on top of a wooden patio to be used for lunch/dinner, etc. It is lit at night and the paths are also lined with motion sensored lights for visibility. It was quiet and you do not hear your neighbors at all, especially since this is an adult only facility. We enjoyed it and liked the country feel of the cabins a lot! From the looks of it, the cabins were brand new and from the guestbook, only 4 or 5 other couples stayed here before us. Clean, new, and private with everything we needed! We drove into town for wine tasting and breakfast, and drove another 45 mins to a little over an hour to Enchanted Rock State Park and Pedernales Falls State Park in Johnson City!

Comfortable bed, double reclining sofa and The fresh bake cookies were our favorites. Nice dark nights, sitting on the porch and was able see the stars. Turns out that it was super close to our Saturday Night event, which was a plus. Anyhow, we loved it and will definitely stay again.
