(Some of this information comes second hand through him). I could not be more impressed with the service and knowledge from Those Guys Garage. They diagnosed my problem and what was killing my battery (it wasn't anything we would have guessed) and had the problem fixed by the time the work day was over. I was easily expecting a $500+ invoice based on previous experience and quotes for most car repairs so I was absolutely shocked and over the moon when my total bill came to just around $350!! The guys were so friendly when we came to pick up my vehicle (oh and there was an adorable shop dog who greeted me at the door too!!) My vehicle stayed in their shop for 4 days, and after the inspection they told me that my driver-side lower control arm was broken and that the thermostat needed replacement. They charged me $3,600, but never provided any proof, photos, or explanation showing that the arm was actually broken. They also refused to give me the parts invoice, never showed the cost of the parts they used, and provided no breakdown at all. They charged me $2,200 just for labor, yet this job normally takes around 3 hours, not multiple days. When I asked for labor rate, time, or details, they didn't provide anything. The whole process felt unprofessional, unclear, and extremely overpriced. The worst part is that after I picked up my car, it had even bigger problems than before. The vehicle started having new issues immediately, and now I have to take it to another certified Mercedes mechanic to fix whatever was done to it. I honestly have no idea what they did to my car, but the quality of work seems extremely poor. I am very disappointed and strongly warn anyone with a high-end vehicle: do not trust this shop with your car. They provided no transparency, no proof, no proper documentation, overcharged for labor, and returned my car in worse condition than it arrived.

I called around all the local places like Canadian Tire and so on, but nobody seemed to have a mechanic certified to do the inspection until I found Tirecraft. They were able to fit me in right away, and had the inspection done quickly and painlessly. The guys were super friendly and helpful and were happy to give me advice on the best time to put on winter tires in Edmonton. A couple months later I called/emailed around at least half a dozen local places looking for pricing on winter tire installation and storage. Tirecraft's prices came out the best of all the places I checked. Once again they were able to fit me in promptly and got the work done very quickly. While waiting for them to finish up near the end of the day on Friday, I saw two other customers come in without appointments within the last hour before closing, one to get winter tires on and the other for a tire pressure check and rebalancing before a long trip. Despite the lack of appointment, both customers were helped quickly and cheerfully and sent away happy. Despite the name, they also do other types of service besides just tires, so if you're looking for some work done, I'd recommend calling these guys for a quote also. Tip: if you have an hour or two to wait around for your car, the excellent restaurant The Workshop Eatery is a short walk away, and a very pleasant place to pass the time!

All in, i spent just over $900 WITH PARTS with Louis, and had my car back on the road driving like it did, when i first got it. i'd recommend Louis to anyone seeking, an honest, reliable, trustworthy mechanic, who gets the job done, quickly and affordably. They still repair stuff instead of whole replacements. Most of the good Mechanics at the dealers have retired. I Took our 2008 CRV in for maintenance, such as changing belts and fluids. The work and price exceeding my expectations. Highly recommend them for your Honda, Toyota, Acura and Lexus vehicles. These guys are really good!
