The pool behind the Late arrivals board (right next to the office!)
    Mina H.

We lucked out and got to book a spot for ourselves here at the last minute for the 4th of July weekend. Some last minute cancellations made this possible since it was a very popular weekend for the Gatlinburg area. The location was perfect. Right off the main strip in Pigeon Forge, but off the strip enough to be away from the bustling roads for some peace and quiet. A very short drive away from Gatlinburg too! We got to the town late on our day to check into our reserved spot. Online, the instructions said to find the "late arrivals board" to locate our assigned camp site and find information about the Wifi, bathroom code, rules, etc. However, it being so dark, we could not find the board. Luckily, there was an "after-hours" phone number we could call. A gentleman picked up the phone right away and told us where the board could be found. (Embarrassingly, as it turns out, it was basically right in front of our eyes!) Their check-in system is flawless and having an after-hours number was a godsend! We checked in in the morning, and the staff working at the office were all very friendly and helpful as well. One staff member recommended a great breakfast place for us. And, they had a 50% off discount for a local waterpark that they offered their guests too as an added bonus. This facility is very clean and well-maintained. The bathrooms and showers are obviously cleaned frequently, and I would say they are one of the cleanest I have ever seen for a campground that was packed full of campers! They do have a pool at the front of the campsite, but it is small and probably best for young children. But if you're looking to swim, I would recommend going to one of the waterparks in the area instead anyway. Especially since the few I've been to are excellent here! Really, my only complaint for this place was that each campsite is very close to another. If it's packed as it was during the 4th of July weekend, you will have very little privacy. Depending on your spot, you'll be camping maybe 10 feet away from someone else if they're assigned a spot next to yours.

I called the Hilton Garden In Pigeon Forge, I spoke with a woman at the front desk who told me they had availability. I asked if she needed a deposit to hold my room and she said no. I informed her we would arrive very late and had a 6-7 hour drive. She said she would hold my reservation. Upon arriving the man at the front desk told us the reservation had been "booted" from their system and they gave our room to someone else. So we left. We called several other hotels on the same strip. No availability. The last call brought me to Tonya at Margaritaville. From that night on our stay was amazing. We met Rusty at the front desk who took care of our stay. Tonya Craven who made sure not only we were taken care of, but every guest these two came in contact with were happy and taken care of and made sure we all felt at home!!!! This place is dog friendly. We lovedddddd this! The food at the restaurant was really good and Seth the bar tender down stairs was very personable and made sure our food was on point. The hotel was clean. The room had comfortable beds, cozy towels and was just right. The hotel is decorated beautifully for Christmas. The New Year's party with the live band was fun! The entire staff was friendly and welcoming. If we didn't have to be home for scheduled meetings, we would have extended our stay a few more days!!! Thank you Tonya, Seth, and Rusty for helping our family ring in the new year!

I called it the pool suite. Bath houses are cleaned every morning. By the end of the day, they can get pretty disgusting. The first pool closes at 8 and the second pool is open until 10. It should be the other way around to be honest. Overall great campground, I would recommend and do not read into the negative reviews. You are not going to please everyone.

There is even a trolly stop to get into town from the front entrance. The weekend we were there, it was packed. Even so, the site was easy enough to back into. Tons of campers had their TVs out to watch the game and grilling, but there was little noise and noting disturbed us inside our rig. Kids enjoyed the pool and having fun while many families rented the facilities golf carts to get around the camp. The Bad: The campground is way more packed and has smaller sites than what the photos indicate. You will find it to be congested, especially on the weekends. Also, some sites to not have a dumping capability, you will need to dump at a common site when leaving. All and all, we will certainly be coming back.

We found the campground to be nearly empty. Lazy River Pool was heated and the hot tub was nice to have to ourselves. Showers and bathrooms clean (again, only a handful of campers here). Laundry was $2 each for wash and dry. Enjoyed our stay and will return during warmer weather to experience the Great Smokies (most roads closed during our stay due to icy conditions in the NP)

This is a pretty cut and dry campground. They do have tent sites, but this is more of an RV/Camper…read moretype spot. Its a simple oval layout. bathrooms located in the middle area. They also have a small pool, sand volleyball and a playground for the kids. The bathrooms are pretty nice actually, and showers are decent too. The sites are pretty much right up on each other, and not all of them have fire rings. We saw where there possibly was one on our site next to the road, but no ring. But if you're just sleeping here, then it's perfect for you. It was pretty quiet, minus the traffic noise. So again, a plus. They do have a small store on site for firewood and the like. The perk here is "continental breakfast" every morning. Or rather a voucher good at the Smokey Mountain Pancake house down the street. You get a choice of 4 different items. Mainly a 3 pancake breakfast, French toast, or biscuits and gravy. I wish they had a smaller more simple sausage and egg or omelet option, but they do have a percentage off if you don't want one of the prechosen combos. The location is nice, just on the other side of the river from the parkway, and at the end of the strip before you head into Gatlinburg, so nothing flanks you on 2 sides really. And if you take the back road to get here less traffic! It's also super simple to get to Dollywood as well. So quiet not a whole lot of bells and whistles simple place to park and rest your head if that's what you're looking for. And decently priced under $50 with hookups.
