We went in the store a little over a year ago when we first moved into our house in Brookhaven, but decided to wait a year before we completed work on the backyard. We went back to Larry now that our yard was completed and found the most challenging part of our experiencing was picking just one table. Larry has fantastic quality tables and is a great guy to work with. He's straight forward and knows literally everything about Teak tables. He let us spend nearly an hour in his store considering what we wanted to choose and answered all of our questions. Given this was in the time of COVID, he was also very respectful of keeping socially distant (easy to do in his store) and wearing a mask, and he only sees clients by appointment one at a time now. He was kind enough to literally bring it to our backyard himself since it was clearly going to be a struggle getting the box to fit in our car. We really enjoyed getting our table from Larry and we'll absolutely be back next year when we buy some more teak furniture to go with our table/chairs!

I gave up on WE and started poking around the online inventory of Atlanta's many vintage shops. I'd tabbed a few items and found myself coming back to a walnut sideboard from City Issue. It was a little out of my comfort zone style-wise but it was exactly what I was looking for utility-wise and price-wise. I used the "Inquire" button on their website to request a hold on it to see it in person. Someone got back to me within just a few minutes! The in-person experience was fantastic. The inventory is gorgeous and it made me all the more upset with myself for defaulting to giant corporate furniture stores. I unfortunately did not get the name of the employee who helped me but gosh, did she help! She had me bring my car around while she got the piece on wheels, helped us load it into the car, and even helped out with the most effective way to tie it down and keep the trunk from damaging it. This piece was over a foot longer than the WE sideboard, which was less expensive but adding in shipping, totaled only $3 cheaper than what I ended up with. I was exceedingly pleased with the entire experience and would absolutely come back.

We are already off to a great start with what I purchased. On first visiting I had sticker shock just because I never shopped for high quality furniture before. But once I visited other high quality furniture stores, I know they do offer some very good prices here. Some sets were more than $1,000 cheaper than what I believe to be the same thing that I saw at other stores. So not only is it high quality, it's a great value. All that is well and good. The greatest advantage of shopping here is the people. They are the nicest and friendliest people you could ever meet. It's a family run business and every person we met showed true and genuine customer service but not only can you can tell they're very passionate about what they do but they are experts as well. This was a big decision for me and I made a lot of trips in and as I worried it probably was looking like I was window shopping or never going to buy. They still treated me the same on every single trip in. They spent as much time with me as I wanted.
