We found a lovely dining set, although the top of the table had some wear. Harold said the guy he works with could refinish it to get rid of some of the imperfections and estimated that would cost an additional $300. We paid for the set (non-refundable) and agreed to pay for the refinishing when the work was complete. When I called to check in, Harold told me that the refinishing would cost not $300 but $700 because they had - without asking - taken it upon themselves to refinish the chairs as well. Then, when we went the store to pay he charged us $800 citing the cost of refinishing products, more than double what he estimated. Maybe that's not an unreasonable cost for a full dining set (I honestly don't know) but I felt misled, and at a minimum they should have consulted us before doing the chairs. The refinished table also looks VERY different than it did when we purchased, and not in a good way. The wood is stained so dark that the natural beauty is gone, and the finish is dull. I am so disappointed and will never purchase there again - which is a bummer because they have some nice furniture.

And his delivery man, Ray was fair, showed up on time, and moved the super heavy furniture upstairs without touching one wall or dropping anything. Highly recommend.

We went in the store a little over a year ago when we first moved into our house in Brookhaven, but decided to wait a year before we completed work on the backyard. We went back to Larry now that our yard was completed and found the most challenging part of our experiencing was picking just one table. Larry has fantastic quality tables and is a great guy to work with. He's straight forward and knows literally everything about Teak tables. He let us spend nearly an hour in his store considering what we wanted to choose and answered all of our questions. Given this was in the time of COVID, he was also very respectful of keeping socially distant (easy to do in his store) and wearing a mask, and he only sees clients by appointment one at a time now. He was kind enough to literally bring it to our backyard himself since it was clearly going to be a struggle getting the box to fit in our car. We really enjoyed getting our table from Larry and we'll absolutely be back next year when we buy some more teak furniture to go with our table/chairs!

My husband spilled tea on our new cream area rug, it's wool and has a raised knotted texture so no one has been able to clean it. We bring it here, and the man inside (believe it's the owner?) Instead he took us back inside and showed us a product we could buy from Home Depot that may help lighten the stain over time. So far the product has been helping! And we appreciate the honesty more than you know. He was a good man and this seems like a quality business.
